EXECUTIVE ORDER TO CREATE A WHITE HOUSE RURAL COUNCIL

“On June 9th, Barack Obama signed an executive order to create a “White House Rural Council.” What is it? Why does rural America suddenly need 25 federal agencies “coordinating” sustainability, resources and whatever?

Section 1. describes the “purpose” for this Rural council, to which 25 federal agency department heads belong, including Treasury, EPA, Commerce and Homeland Security.

“Sixteen percent of the American population lives in rural counties. Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the future and ensuring American competitiveness in the years ahead. These communities supply our food, fiber, and energy, safeguard our natural resources, and are essential in the development of science and innovation. Though rural communities face numerous challenges, they also present enormous economic potential. The Federal Government has an important role to play in order to expand access to the capital necessary for economic growth, promote innovation, improve access to health care and education, and expand outdoor recreational activities on public lands.

To enhance the Federal Government’s efforts to address the needs of rural America, this order establishes a council to better coordinate Federal programs and maximize the impact of Federal investment to promote economic prosperity and quality of life in our rural communities.”

One Response to “EXECUTIVE ORDER TO CREATE A WHITE HOUSE RURAL COUNCIL”

  1. Executive Order 13575—Establishment of the White House Rural Council – Response to Bonnie Clarke Sagan or Bakersville, NC

    Ms Sagan:

You are right on about Executive Order 13575 that establishes Obama’s White House Rural Council. It is nothing more than an extension of the “sustainable growth” agenda of the UN and a precursor to what progressives hope will be the largest land grab in American history.

Sustainable development focuses on limiting man’s use of natural resources to those amounts that the environment is able to supply indefinitely. The parameters of this UN socialist initiative originated at the Conference of Rio in 1992. If this plan is adopted to its fullest extent, Freedom will irrevocably be replaced by servitude, free market economy by socialism, and property rights by common ownership – all to achieve “social justice” as defined by the global elite.

Specific Elements of the Master Plan:

    1. control of human activity by a small group of intellectual elites under UN
    2. all life forms and inanimate objects equal to humans in importance (insect rights)
    3. end of national sovereignty
    4. NOT sustainable items include private property, fossil fuels, golf courses, ski lodges, irrigation, consumerism, paved roads, commercial agriculture, farmland, grazing animals, traditional family units
    5. humans will be moved into tiny apartments in high-rise buildings along rail lines concentrated in urban areas called “smart growth zones”
    6. our children will be indoctrinated to be “citizens of the world”
    7. depopulation of the earth through starvation, disease, and riots

We have heard these arguments before – always from the mouths of those who claim to act for the benefit of mankind, out of selfless disregard for their own well being – “it’s for your own good, of course” – all the while expecting and planning to be personally exempt from all aspects of the plan. Do as I say, not as I do.

The new “Rural Council”, chaired by the Department of Agriculture, consists of the heads of 25 cabinet departments, and their mission is:

“…work across executive departments, agencies, and offices to coordinate development of policy recommendations to promote economic prosperity and quality of life in rural America, and shall coordinate my Administration’s engagement with rural communities.”

Those of us who understand our history know that rural America provided the resources that fueled our national prosperity during over a century of growth. Direct federal involvement in agriculture and rural affairs during the FDR administration started a period of decline in the quality and freedom of rural life that will continue aggressively with Obama’s Rural Council.

The FDA’s National Animal Identification System will now have multi-jurisdictional enforcement. Farmers who cannot comply will be fighting rules and regulations from multiple agencies.
Under this program, “sustainable development” means you must have “government approval” and “smart” is just another term for “government control”, all requiring the heavy hand of government enforcement.

Government seizure of private property has already begun both in urban and rural areas. This is a recent article from LA Weekly News, June 23, 2011:

    L.A. County’s Private Property War
Countless L.A. County property owners have been victimized by armed NATs (Nuisance Abatement Teams) issuing citations for “living on the land illegally,” and other equally ridiculous code violations. This is on land the victim owns. The code violations arise from new codes that comply with Agenda 21. These codes did not exist when the homes in Antelope Valley were built 20 and 30 years ago. Owners have had the time since the new codes were adopted, until recently, to bring their structures up to code. Those who failed to do so have now effectively lost their property to the county – without compensation. The fact that the land owners had no idea these ridiculous codes had been adopted is no excuse. This is “Amortization of Non-Conforming Uses.”

This is not my America, and I know it is not yours either.

It is imperative that we join together to defeat those who would steal our freedoms. United, We the People can still restore our constitutional republic and the liberties and rights guaranteed to all of us.

    Dr Dan Eichenbaum
