Subject: EFFECTS OF SANCTIONS ON RUSSIA – TUCKER CARLSON

While in Russia to interview Vladimir Putin, Tucker Carlson visited a grocery store in Moscow, Russia, and documented his experience. This visit was part of his efforts to understand the impact of U.S. and European sanctions on Russia’s economy. Contrary to the narrative that these sanctions have had a devastating effect on Russia’s economy, Carlson discovered a different situation during his visit.

Carlson’s video titled “TC Shorts: The Moscow Grocery Store,” provides an inside look at a Russian supermarket. He noted that the sanctions from the United States and other European nations seem to have no visible impact on grocery stores in Russia, despite claims made by corporate media. He also highlighted the variety of food items available in the Moscow supermarket, pointing out that their prices are much more affordable compared to those in the U.S.

This observation raises questions about the effectiveness of the sanctions imposed on Russia and how they are perceived by the general public. It also highlights the importance of firsthand experiences and direct observations in understanding complex socio-economic issues.

During his trip, Carlson also commented on the overall aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of Moscow, stating it was “so much cleaner, and prettier aesthetically — its architecture, its food, its service — than any city in the United States.” He even noted his surprise about the efficiency and cleanliness of the Moscow subway system.

These observations by Carlson present a contrasting view of Russia compared to what is often portrayed in Western media. While this does not negate the political differences and ongoing tensions between Russia and Western countries, it offers a fresh perspective on the living conditions in Russia’s capital.

However, it’s important to note that these observations are based on one individual’s experiences and may not represent the overall economic situation in Russia. The impact of sanctions often takes time to manifest and may not be immediately visible, especially in consumer-facing sectors like retail.

RUSSIA/NORTH KOREA – MISSILE CAPABLE OF HITTING WASHINGTON DC

Monday, November 27th, 2023

Another excellent report from Sam Faddis   Nancy

Paying The Price For Our Arrogance – Russia Gives North Korea A Missile Capable Of Hitting Washington D.C.

by Sam Faddis   November 27. 2023

EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:  How far Russia will go in furthering North Korean capabilities remains unclear. North Korea is estimated to have roughly 30 nuclear weapons and enough fissile material on hand to increase that inventory to 50 or 60 weapons if it chooses to.  It has had the capability to put those warheads on missiles for some time but now has a dramatically enhanced ability to actually strike first against the United States. Not only can its new missile reach D.C., but because it is solid-fueled it can be readied and launched in a fraction of the time of older, liquid-fueled missiles. That means we may well have little or no warning of an impending strike.

Recent reporting has revealed that early on in the Ukraine war the Russians appeared willing to sit down at the negotiating table and talk about a negotiated end to the war. We were not interested. The Neo-Cons were having too much fun “killing Russians” and there were dreams of total victory. We poured jet fuel on the fire and dismissed any thought of the consequences.

We are now paying the price. War has a way of spiraling out of control, and the consequences are often difficult to predict. In 1914 the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand led very quickly to the deaths of millions. In this case, our hubris has produced a new Russian-North Korean alliance and quite possibly a direct threat to the homeland.

INVENTORY OF WEAPONS SENT TO UKRAINE AND REPLACEMENT TIMES

Nancy – This article by OAN below is very deceptive – Yes Replacement Costs should be used because this is what the US taxpayer will have to pay to replace this equipment. Obama 3/Biden regime is making another huge mistake in supplying Ukraine with top of line munitions, equipment etc without any accountability thus depleted our US arsenal and ability to fight for years especially on 2 fronts.  Due to their lack of accountability, I have to wonder how much of this gear is also falling into hands of Russia and China to be reverse engineered or to develop counters to its effectiveness. Same crap they pulled in Afghanistan by leaving so much of our equipment and technology there.
That damn spokesman for National Security Council, Admiral John Kirby lies thru his teeth about this and everything else. Obviously so do Chair JCS Austin and entire JCS – they are violating their Oath of Office by their actions which jeopardize our Constitution and our Country. See article which follows:
How The War in Ukraine is Impacting Security in The Indo-Pacific Region How the war in Ukraine is impacting security in the Indo-Pacific – Breaking Defense

Xi of Communist China does not want the war in Ukraine to end.  Xi hopes are being supported by the Biden/Obama administration and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who, for 2 ½ years, have not properly reordered and restocked depleted strategic weapons systems and the ammunition that are being transferred to Ukraine at a cost of $2 billion every other month.  Instead, the Biden/Obama administration has been doing very little while the U S Armed Forces are being disarmed.  It has taken the action of the US House Armed Service Committee to take the action to reorder and restock depleted strategic weapons systems and the ammunition to try to catch up with the ability defend the homeland.

By reviewing the below listed Inventory Replacement Table, even a casual observer will understand that it will take from 3 to 18 years to rearm and restock the inventory of critical and strategic weapons systems and ammunition that is being transferred to Ukraine.  Over the past year, NATO has consistently refused to properly rearm Ukraine with the strategic weapons systems and the ammunition required to defend itself.

The Biden/Obama administration has put the US Military in the difficult position of not being able to provide for the defense of Taiwan with the delivery of defensive weapons for their survival.  At the same time, the Biden/Obama administration is preventing the US Military from having adequate strategic weapons systems and the ammunition inventory to protect the homeland from an attack by Communist China.

The firm and unreasonable refusal of the Biden/Obama administration to support a truce, in order to move towards a negotiated settlement of the Ukraine War, is permitting the continued drain of US strategic weapons systems and the ammunition to continue, and is supporting Xi wishes that the war continue, making the invasion of Taiwan so much easier for Communist China to initiate and to eventually prevail in.

PENTAGON ‘ACCOUNTING ERROR’ ON WEAPONS SENT TO UKRAINE

Wednesday, June 21st, 2023
It seems to me that they should be using replacement costs when estimating the value of the weapons we are sending to Ukraine. I’m definitely not an accounting genius, but aren’t we, the taxpayers, going to have to pay the replacement cost when ordering new military weapons  to replace what we sent to Ukraine?  I can just see the Chinese leaders gleefully watching us deplete our stockpiles while they are sitting on a very large supply of military weapons and equipment as they contemplate their takeover of Taiwan.   Let’s not forget all the military weapons and equipment that Biden left in Afghanistan for the Taliban to use and to sell – Good Grief !!!   Nancy

Pentagon ‘Accounting Error’ Allegedly Overestimated Value Of Weapons Sent To Ukraine

OAN’s Noah Herring
5:21 PM – Tuesday, June 20, 2023

The Pentagon announced Tuesday that an accounting error made last month revealed that it overestimated the value of weapons sent to Ukraine by $6.2 billion, more than double the purported true estimate.

Pentagon Spokeswoman Sabrina Singh claimed that military services had counted replacement costs rather than the book value of equipment that was pulled from Pentagon stocks to be sent to Ukraine. According to Singh, there was an error of $3.6 billion in the current fiscal year and $2.6 billion in the 2022 fiscal year.

“In a significant number of cases, services used replacement costs rather than net book value, thereby overestimating the value of the equipment drawn down from US stocks and provided to Ukraine,” Singh said.

The department has also now stated that it has additional money to use to further support Ukraine, which is likely to help Congress pass an additional assistance package before the end of the fiscal year in September.
