VIDEO – AGENDA GRINDING AMERICA DOWN – FULL DOCUMENTARY MOVIE

Thursday, August 20th, 2020

I first saw this documentary film about 7 or so years ago and  was mesmerized because it stated quite clearly all the things I believed were  happening to our country.  Today,  it is even clearer that the Communists, Socialists and Progressives are a powerful force that are shaping events in our country.  In order to stop this destruction of our culture and our country, we first have to understand why and how it is being accomplished and this movie explains  it all  for us.     Please share this movie with your email lists.  Nancy  P.S.  Be sure not to miss the final 5  minutes of this film

NRA PLANS TO SPEND ‘TENS OF MILLIONS’ IN BATTLEGROUND STATES

Saturday, August 8th, 2020

n spite of everything the Left is trying to do to destroy the NRA, we have for decades been the strongest defender of America’s freedom at the ballot box and will be again this election!  In an interview published this week, Jason Ouimet, NRA-ILA Executive Director, lays out the NRA’s 2020 strategy for galvanizing tens of millions of NRA members and gun owners.

Exclusive: NRA Plans to Spend ‘Tens of Millions’ in Battleground States

NRA has added 1,000 new members each day since June

Some say that one individual or one organization can’t make a difference, but we know that’s not true. The results from 2016 are ample evidence and clearly demonstrate the power of our message. The voice of NRA supporters is the voice of America. Without our Second Amendment rights, our freedom will follow.

THE FIGHTER MADISON CAWTHORN

A new and young upcoming Republican in the race for Mark Meadows’ North Carolina 11th Congressional seat.  Nancy

THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER

The fighter

When Mark Meadows resigned from Congress on March 30 to become White House chief of staff, he vacated a coveted seat. North Carolina’s recently redrawn 11th Congressional District encompasses most of the state’s mountainous western region and tilts Republican despite the liberal city of Asheville at its center.

Of the 12 candidates on the Republican primary ballot in March, the only two who earned more than 10% of the vote were 62-year-old businesswoman Lynda Bennett and Madison Cawthorn, who will not meet the constitutional age requirement for Congress until his 25th birthday on Aug. 1. Because neither broke the requisite 30%, the contest to replace Meadows has led to a June 23 runoff election that will pit two generations of the GOP against each other.

Cawthorn and his story are well known in western North Carolina, where his familial roots extend to the Revolutionary War. Once a staffer for Meadows, he was nominated by the former congressman to attend the U.S. Naval Academy, but his plans came crashing down on April 3, 2014, when a catastrophic car accident left him partially paralyzed at the age of 18.

“When my accident happened, I had spent my entire life building my athletic ability, building my mental ability, making sure I could pass any tests I was ever given,” Cawthorn told the Washington Examiner. The homeschooling graduate had earned a full-ride ROTC scholarship from the U.S. Marine Corps. “I was the No. 1 pick in the whole nation. I had it all.”

“Everything was going great for me,” he continued. “I had a great family. I was extraordinarily healthy. Life couldn’t get much better for me.” The otherwise cheerful Cawthorn looked down sadly as he described the night when he was riding back with his friend from a spring break trip to Florida. “I’m asleep taking a nap, and I run into a wall at 70 miles per hour. My entire life was taken away from me.”

His friend had fallen asleep at the wheel of their SUV and plowed into a concrete road barrier. After his friend pulled him from the fiery wreck with the help of two bystanders, Cawthorn was flown to a trauma center in Daytona Beach. Remembering when he regained consciousness, he said, “I wake up and I can’t move my legs. All I see is my family around me, looking at me with nothing but pity.” That’s when he realized, “Wow, I’m really messed up, whatever’s going on.”

Cawthorn had been reclining with his legs up when they crashed, and the force of the impact snapped his spine. The accident burned him, shattered his ankle, broke his pelvis, and cost him a kidney. His internal organs were pushed up into his chest, crushing his lungs. “Both my lungs collapsed, so I couldn’t speak for a very long time,” he said, recalling how he learned to communicate with sign language. Only his head escaped injury. The doctors were amazed he survived.

BIG GOP WIN IN TEXAS !

Here’s a win for the good guys !!!  Bodes very well for November’s  election

Texas Is About to Go Blue! Never Mind

Democrats were sure they’d flip a state House seat this week. They weren’t close.

by Karl Rove  January 30, 2020

While many Americans were focused on Washington this week, I was paying special attention to Fort Bend County, Texas. What took place in that Houston suburb may reveal more about the 2020 election than the impeachment trial in the Senate does.

Fort Bend held a special runoff election to fill a vacant state House seat left open by the resignation of the Republican incumbent, who took a job with the University of Texas. Sensing an opening, state and national Democrats decided a win in House District 28 would give them a head start on flipping the nine seats they’d need to control the Texas House and boost their efforts to overturn GOP state legislative majorities from Arizona to Florida, Wisconsin to Pennsylvania and a dozen states in between.

The reason for this intense Democratic interest in state politics is redistricting.Democrats saw how Republican state legislative majorities affected the composition of the U.S. House after the 2010 census. Democrats want to do in more states what they did back then in drawing congressional lines favorable to their party in California, Illinois, Maryland and other blue bastions. The 2020 census gives them the opportunity, but only if they control at least one chamber of a state’s legislature.

Democrats, eager to set the tone for 2020, piled into the race with money, endorsements, technology, lists and volunteers to help Elizabeth Markowitz defeat her Republican opponent. Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren and Mike Bloomberg all endorsed Ms. Markowitz. Mr. Bloomberg even carved out time from his presidential campaign to go door-to-door with her. Former presidential candidates Julián Castro and Robert Francis O’Rourke also canvassed neighborhoods, Mr. O’Rourke so frequently that it looked as if he was trying to establish residency.

Calling the race “the most important election (yet) in 2020,” the former El Paso congressman said a victory could help turn Texas blue and “build momentum” in the state for the eventual Democratic presidential nominee.

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee echoed Mr. O’Rourke’s enthusiasm, saying that flipping the district would be “earth-shattering.” The Texas House Democratic Campaign Committee called the race “a dead heat” in the campaign’s final week.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder, chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, said if Ms. Markowitz was elected, she’d be “a key voice in fixing our broken political system.” His praise was accompanied by $50,000 in contributions, part of the nearly $1.3 million from national and state Democratic groups. More than 70% of Ms. Markowitz’s contributors were from outside Texas, and more than 94% from outside her district, according to Texas Ethics Commission campaign reports.

All these hopes of a Democratic victory were shattered Tuesday. In the biggest turnout in history for a Texas House special runoff, Republican Gary Gates walloped Ms. Markowitz 58% to 42%. His 16-point margin of victory was more than twice the Republican incumbent’s in 2018 and larger than the district margins for President Trump in 2016 (10 points) and Sen. Ted Cruz in 2018 (three).

THE SECOND AMENDMENT SANCTUARY MOVEMENT ISN’T GOING AWAY

Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020

This is an interesting article about a man in Virginia who was not particularly political but he has become involved in supporting the 2nd amendment sanctuary movement.  The threat from the Democrats in Virginia has definitely got his attention !!!  Nancy

The Second Amendment Sanctuary Movement Isn’t Going Away

The media smears them as ‘white supremacists,’ but thousands showed up in Richmond, Va., Monday

Middletown, Va.

Troy Carter, 49, says that, other than voting, he’d never been involved in politics. That changed late last year, when he heard that a county board of supervisors in Virginia voted to become a gun sanctuary. On Monday he was one of an estimated 22,000 people who gathered peacefully at the Capitol Square in Richmond, Va., to support gun rights. Many of those attending were visibly armed.

Ninety-one of Virginia’s 96 counties have passed sanctuary measures to resist proposed state gun regulations. Last year Democrats took control of both chambers of Virginia’s General Assembly for the first time in nearly three decades. They, along with Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam, have stood firm on their campaign pledges to enact stricter gun control, partly in reaction to a shooting last May in Virginia Beach.

For Virginians like Mr. Carter, the effort has brought about a political awakening. He learned to shoot when he was six years old. Guns are a normal part of his life, like fishing or going to church every Sunday, and something he considers vital to protecting and providing for his family. Mr. Carter choked up as he described a tradition of safety, protection and providing taught to him by his grandfather—and his grandfather before him. When he discovered the sanctuary movement, he decided to go to a meeting two counties away to learn more.

Becoming a Second Amendment sanctuary means a locality won’t use law enforcement resources to prosecute the proposed antigun laws. Whether such resolutions have any teeth depends on local officials’ resolve, but at the very least these measures are a reflection of regional sentiment on gun control.

This grass-roots movement is largely composed of people like Mr. Carter, who aren’t otherwise political but strongly believe in the importance of the Second Amendment. At his first meeting, he encountered massive support, “I just couldn’t believe the amount of people that showed up.”

Mr. Carter soon found himself attending another gathering in another county, and then another. When it finally came time for his county supervisors to take a vote, he spoke at the meeting. They passed a sanctuary measure.

MEXICO’S SOARING MURDER RATE PROVES GUN CONTROL IS DEADLY

Friday, October 25th, 2019

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

Mexico’s Soaring Murder Rate Proves Gun Control Is Deadly

Its laws are among the world’s least permissive. And most criminals don’t get weapons from the U.S.

Oct. 22, 2019

Another month, another record number of murders in Mexico. For the first nine months of 2019, Mexico had 25,890 murders—almost six times as many murders per 100,000 people as in the U.S. Does Mexico need stricter gun control?

No. Its gun laws are among the least permissive in the world. For decades Mexico has had only one gun store in the entire country, a military-run establishment in Mexico City. The store’s prices are very expensive, and the most powerful rifle that you can buy there is a .22 caliber. There’s no “gun-show loophole”—any person-to-person firearm transfers are illegal without an “extraordinary” permit that never seems to be issued. One may sell a gun only to the government, and then the government has to decide to sell it to someone else.

Getting permission to purchase a gun is a feat in itself. Background checks take six months to complete and require fingerprints and an evaluation of the buyer’s employment history. Only 1% of Mexicans possess a license to own a firearm. When I testified before the Mexican Senate a few years ago, members of the chamber, who have faced death threats, told me that even they found it impossible to get a concealed-handgun permit.

It wasn’t always this way. Mexicans had a right to own guns until 1971, when the constitution was amended to give the federal government total control over firearm access. In 1972 the government passed strict gun-control measures. Now Mexicans can’t transport guns outside their homes without a permit from the Secretariat of National Defense—even if the gun is lawfully registered, unloaded, in a locked container, and going from one residence to another.

WHO IS ANTIFA ?

Tuesday, August 27th, 2019

Who Is Antifa? What You Need To Know
Ray DiLorenzo, CFP.com
Antifa headquarters in Berlin from 1926 – 1933. The Antifaschistische Akton (Antifa) logo can be seen prominently on the front of the building. In 2005, the building was renamed ‘The Left Party PDS’ or Party of Democratic Socialism which merged with the Social Justice Electoral Alternative. Notice the hammer and sickle flags.AntifaAntifaschistische Aktion, abbreviated as Antifa or anti-fascist, was an organization affiliated with the Communist Party of Germany that existed from 1932 to 1933. In the postwar era the historical organization inspired new groups and networks, known as the wider Antifa movement, many of which use the aesthetics of the historical Antifaschistische Aktion, especially a modified version of its logo. Wiki

There is much confusion as to who Antifa is, and what they stand for. First, let’s define fascism that they say they are against: Fascism is a set of political beliefs that includes strong control of society and the economy by the state, and the halting of any resistance. In a fascist nation, private enterprise would continue, but all private commercial endeavors would be heavily controlled by the state. Examples would be Nazi Germany and Mussolini’s Italy.

Antifa was and is primarily a global Communist movement using fascist tactics.
