Texas Residents, Lawmakers Raise Concerns Over Planned “All-Islamic Community” Near Dallas

In the heart of Texas, controversy is brewing over EPIC City, a planned 400-acre “all-Islamic” community that critics say would effectively operate outside American law. The ongoing debate over the project has also raised fresh concerns about so-called “Islamization” in other parts of the country.
According to EPIC City’s website, the development, which the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) announced in 2024, will be “a community aimed at serving the needs of the Muslim community” that “brings Islam to the forefront.” It will feature 1,000 homes, a K-12 Islamic school, a mosque, apartments, health centers, commercial shopping, and even a community college – in theory, residents won’t ever have to leave the compound.
While EPIC City initially garnered little media attention, local residents and online influencers have thrust it into the spotlight. Amy Mek, founder of the organization Resistance Against Islamic Radicals (RAIR), has been a particularly vocal critic, posting footage from community meetings of Texans opposed to the project.
In one clip Mek posted on X earlier this month, a woman who identifies herself as the daughter of a Guatemalan immigrant explains why she believes it is wrong that the developers of EPIC City are aiming to create an Islamic compound separate from the rest of the community.
“We didn’t come here to build a Guatemalan Catholic compound,” she said. “We assimilated. We became American. Why is EPIC building a city where everything is Islamic – the school, the mosque, the fitness center, even the medical clinic? That’s not diversity. That’s ideological takeover. This is not okay with the American people.”
As Mek also reported, Douglas Deaton, a retired police lieutenant from Collin County, where the EPIC City site is located, has alleged that EPIC has already created a “Sharia-controlled enclave” that has “operated as a religiously exclusive neighborhood.” That enclave reportedly includes the “UIF Corporation,” a Michigan-based company whose own website states that it exists to “engage in financial transactions that are Sharia compliant.”

Harvard’s ‘resistance’ to Trump isn’t about science or academic freedom
The school would rather lose $9 billion in federal funding than offend the left and give up woke indoctrination policies that enable and encourage antisemitism.

It’s nice to know that the school that is widely considered to be the most prestigious institution of higher education in the United States is willing to stand up for its principles. Unfortunately, the main principle for which Harvard University is standing up—and earning deafening applause from liberal elites in politics and the media—is the right to go on enabling and encouraging the hatred of Jews.
Of course, that’s not the way the political left is spinning the announcement that Harvard would defy the demands of the Trump administration to cease its tacit support of the surge of antisemitism since the Hamas-led terrorist attacks in southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
For Trump’s “progressive” opponents who have acquired near-total control of higher education in the United States, the demands are unacceptable. They would rather lose federal funding, which is crucial to their survival, than end discrimination in admissions and hiring rooted in the woke catechism of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) that creates viewpoint uniformity that excludes conservatives and supporters of Israel. They also refuse to adopt disciplinary policies against those who advocate for Jewish genocide and harass Jewish students, or prevent the pro-Hamas mobs on their campuses from wearing masks while they commit their acts of intimidation and violence.
For the far left, their refusal to treat antisemites the way they would bigots who threatened African-Americans or Hispanics is a heroic act of “resistance.”

In 634 AD, Muslim forces conquered Damascus and gained control of Syria, which was then part of the Christian Byzantine Empire. It has happened again. Jihadists are once more in control of the nation, and a new Caliphate has been born.
Last week Syria’s ruler Ahmad al-Sharaa signed a “temporary” constitution that puts the country under Islamist rule for five years during a “transitional” phase. If you actually believe that the boys in Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) al-Sharaa’s party really intend to ever relinquish power, you are dangerously delusional and probably should have someone else manage your personal affairs.

Iraq’s prime minister has announced that the leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria has been killed.
According to a statement by Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, Abdallah Maki Mosleh al-Rifai was killed in an operation by members of the Iraqi national intelligence service along with U.S.-led coalition forces.
President Donald Trump posted to Truth Social that al-Rifai’s “miserable life was terminated.”

Trump Administration Celebrates a Whopping 50 Wins in 50 Days!

It’s been an epic 50 days, with President Trump and his administration notching win after win after win. And the president shows no signs of stopping. The White House sent out a press release on Monday celebrating the things Trump has accomplished for the American people, including securing the border, bringing back American hostages, reinstating with back pay soldiers who had been discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine, and making it the policy of the United States that there are only two genders. He’s even giving us our plastic straws back!
Here is the complete list. I’m sure it will brighten your Monday!
1. President Trump secured the border in unprecedented fashion.
- Illegal border crossings have declined to the lowest level ever recorded — down 94% from last February and down 96% from the all-time high of the Biden Administration. In one sector, illegal border crossings are down 99% over 2023.
- Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin: “If Fox were to send me down there right now, I would have trouble finding a single migrant on camera.”
- CBS immigration reporter Camilo Montoya-Galvez: “Typically, when we go to the U.S./Mexico border, we at least see one group of people who are trying to cross into the U.S. illegally. We did not see a single migrant.”
2. President Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law.
- The law requires illegal immigrants arrested or charged with theft or violence to be detained — honoring the memory of Laken Riley, a Georgia college student brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant released into the country.
3. President Trump is deporting illegal immigrant killers, rapists, and drug dealers en masse.
- The list of illegal immigrant criminals arrested and set for deportation include convicted killers, child molesters, child pornographers, gang members, terrorists, and drug traffickers.
4. President Trump’s tariffs are leveling the playing field for American workers.
- President Trump restored a 25% tariff on steel imports and elevated the tariff to 25% on aluminum imports to protect these critical American industries from unfair foreign competition – a move praised by the Steel Manufacturers Association, the Aluminum Association, and businesses across the country.
- President Trump unveiled a plan for fair and reciprocal trade, making clear to the world that the United States will no longer tolerate being ripped off.
5. President Trump is taking on the fentanyl crisis.
- President Trump implemented an additional 10% tariff on imports from China in order to stem the flow of illegal aliens and fentanyl.
- President Trump forced Mexico and Canada to address the fentanyl being trafficked into our country.
6. President Trump has secured billions of dollars in new U.S.-based investments.
- Apple announced a historic $500 billion investment that will create 20,000 new U.S.-based jobs.
- TSMC announced an unprecedented $100 billion investment in U.S.-based semiconductor chip manufacturing.
- President Trump announced the largest artificial intelligence infrastructure project in history, securing $500 billion in planned private sector investment — with major CEOs agreeing it would not have been possible without President Trump’s leadership.
- President Trump secured a $20 billion investment by DAMAC Properties to build new U.S.-based data centers.
- CMA CGM announced a $20 billion investment in U.S. shipbuilding and logistics, which will create 10,000 new jobs.
- Eli Lilly and Company announced a $27 billion investment in its U.S.-based manufacturing.
- The Trump Administration announced an $18 billion investment by American liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter Venture Global into their Plaquemines LNG export facility — made possible by President Trump’s energy policies.
- Wisconsin-based Clarios, a leader in low-voltage energy storage, announced a $6 billion plan to expand its U.S.-based manufacturing.
- Saudi Arabia declared its intention to invest $600 billion in the United States over the next four years.
- Taiwan pledged to boost its investment in the United States.

About That Film That Won Best Documentary at the Oscars

Earlier this week, the 97th Academy Awards took place. In the category of Best Documentary, those involved with a film known as “No Other Land” took home the Oscar. Although the documentary began before the October 7, 2023, conflict between Israel and Hamas, the film about the Gaza region still allowed the filmmakers to go on a rant spewing anti-Israel propaganda when accepting their awards. Further, these same filmmakers were seen proudly displaying keffiyehs on the red carpet, which has become a terrorist symbol.

Congressional testimony: ‘USAID funded Hamas, other Islamic terror groups’
Middle East Forum Executive Director Gregg Roman testifies to Congress that $2 billion in US taxpayer money funded Hamas’s survival until the current ceasefire.
USAID provided significant funding that benefited the Hamas terrorist organization during the war that began with the October 7 massacres well as other Islamist terrorist organizations, it was claimed during a Congressional hearing yesterday (Wednesday).
The hearing, titled ‘America Last: How Foreign Aid Undermined U.S. Interests Around the World,’ was held by the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency, and dealt with the recent revelations of waste and corruption at the USAID organization that were made public by DOGE’s investigations.
Middle East Forum Executive Director Gregg Roman addressed the committee members about USAID’s funding for terrorist organizations in the Middle East and beyond.
When asked by Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) what terrorist organizations USAID has funded in addition to the Taliban, Roman responded, “We have assisted Al-Shabab in Somalia, there’s been instances of the Hamzi network in Sudan, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Kata’ib Hezbollah, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham in Syria. Dozens of terror organizations have received indirect assistance from US foreign aid.”

Congressman Tim Burchett Believes DOGE Money Trail Will Reveal “Foreign Aid Payments” Returning to Congress
When Elon Musk asked how Norm Eisen could be financed, I replied, “If the United States govt gave money to Qatar, knowing Qatar was going to send that money to organizations within the USA intended to carry out an objective of a small group in U.S. govt., what would that be called?”
Qatar is a major source of funding for the Brookings Institute. Brookings funds various Lawfare operations, including Norm Eisen. The extended process is quite simple. If elements within the U.S. Govt., wanted to indirectly fund Brookings, could they do it by sending funds to Qatar?
The question is not supposition, because this was the exact process Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta used for the State Dept to send weapons to the Libyan “rebels,” aka Operation Zero Footprint.
Operation Zero Footprint was the State Dept/CIA sending funds to Qatar, and the Qatari govt then purchasing missiles from the CIA to give to al-Qaeda affiliates in Libya. We can consider the historic Iran-Contra scandal under a similar framework. However, the nuanced difference is about sending money toward a foreign govt (via USAID), while knowing the money would return to fund a domestic agenda inside the USA.
Example: USAID sends money to the U.K, and then British political allies send political operatives into the USA to support Kamala Harris. We know the latter part of that sentence happened. So, did the Biden administration (Samantha Power) fund the Labour Party operation?
Are the various political NGOs and activist groups in the USA actually funded, indirectly, by U.S. taxpayers? Many signs point to, yes.
Against this high likelihood, it becomes just a natural extension of the process if U.S. politicians are beneficiaries of the circular laundry operation. That is what Representative Tim Burchett believes will surface if the DOGE team follow the money trail. WATCH:
