FBI Warns Chinese Hackers Are Poised to Hit US Infrastructure Anytime With ‘Devastating Blow’

FBI Director Christopher Wray said Thursday that hackers linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have infiltrated America’s critical infrastructure and are biding their time as they wait for the right moment to strike a “devastating blow.”
Mr. Wray said in an
April 18 speech at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, that the threats posed by China-sponsored hackers are no longer a matter that’s over the horizon but that “they’re upon us now.”
“A few years ago, we might have said China represents the most significant long-term threat,” he said. “That’s no longer the best way to describe the danger.”
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) assessed last year that the Chinese regime was busy building the capacity to deter American intervention in a looming crisis between China and Taiwan by 2027. But that timeline has been accelerated, Mr. Wray said, noting that some of the effects of the enormous CCP-backed hacking enterprise are already being felt today.
An ongoing Chinese hacking campaign known as Volt Typhoon has burrowed into numerous U.S. companies in various critical sectors including telecommunications, energy, and water, with 23 pipeline operators targeted, Mr. Wray said. With a hacking program that is larger than every other major nation combined, China is developing the ability to physically attack critical U.S. infrastructure at a time of its choosing, he warned.

- There are mounting concerns that the Biden administration’s pier plan could ultimately boomerang, especially, as Netanyahu himself has warned, if the US aid and the port itself end up in the hands of Hamas terrorists.
- “This [Biden] administration betrayed its allies – the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Jordan – by handing the port over to Qatar, namely to Hamas..… What all anti-U.S. elements will take away from this tragic episode is not that America stands by its human values to support and care for the population of Gaza, but rather that America is weak and that this is why it is granting the port to Qatar and Hamas.” — Yigal Carmon, founder and president, Middle East Media Research Institute, March 20, 2024.
- As Hamas ultimately controls most of the aid distribution networks in Gaza, the plans currently being drawn up by the US and Europe to expand aid deliveries could ultimately prove counter-productive in terms of ending the conflict, as Hamas terrorists have a long track record of exploiting foreign aid to strengthen their terrorist activities in Gaza.
- If the Biden administration and its European allies are really serious about ending the conflict in Gaza, then they should give their unequivocal backing to the Israeli military in its battle to destroy the terrorist infrastructure Hamas has constructed in Gaza.
- For it will only be when Hamas is completely destroyed, and no longer poses a threat to the Israeli people, that there can be any genuine prospect of lasting peace in the region.

‘They shouldn’t be here!’ Palm Beach Co sheriff warns Americans in furious presser after arrest of 3 migrants accused of heinous crime
With fury and frustration on full display, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw blasted the Biden administration for failing to protect American citizens from illegal migrants who “never should’ve been in this country.”
The angry Wednesday morning press conference came just days after the arrest of three Guatemalan men, here illegally, for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a Palm Beach woman.
Andres Felipe Morales, 29; Darinel Ordonez Jjimenez, 30; and Marcos Felipe Ramirez, 31, were booked into the Palm Beach County jail on Monday, hours after allegedly “forcing a woman into a car at around 1 am Monday and sexually battering her at two locations west of Lake Worth Beach,” according to the Daily Mail.
Their bond was set at $200,000 each,” the outlet reports. “Morales faces counts of sexual assault and false imprisonment while the others were charged with felony criminal conspiracy.”
“This morning, I’m just here to deliver a message,” Bradshaw told reporters on Wednesday. “And the message is, don’t think for a minute that what happens at the Mexican border doesn’t affect us here.”
“Here you have three illegals that should’ve never been in this country that have committed a very serious crime: kidnapping and sexual battery of a lady,” the sheriff said. “They shouldn’t be here!”
