HOW WE GOT TRUMP

Sunday, August 9th, 2020

Some very interesting comments to letters to the editor from readers of the  Wall Street Journal.  My favorite letters are from Laura Duffy from Redondo Beach, California, and  from Don Stuart of Nashville, Indiana.   If you want to read the Peggy Noonan article, ‘Burn the Republican Party Down’, it is highlighted in the first paragraph.
I personally feel the riots and looting and general anarchy in the Democrat controlled cities and the nanny state enforced lockdown in  states with Democrat governors  will be a strong incentive for a vote for Trump in November.  Let’s not also forget the widely anticipated Durham Report too !    Nancy

How We Got Trump and How He Got Ideas

His ability to wing it on the stump is one of the main reasons he triumphed over the scripted automatons he faced in 2016.

August 7, 2020
A glance at Peggy Noonan’s headline (“Burn the Republican Party Down?” Declarations, Aug. 1) had me torn as to whether I should read the piece. Good thing I did. She summarized what the American public has endured for 25 years and the dilemma voters face this fall. How did we get here, with President Trump? She cites a rudderless foreign policy and long, unsuccessful wars, the financial collapse in 2008, and anxiety-provoking illegal immigration that Washington never addressed.

She could also have mentioned a smug, do-nothing Congress that views us as deplorable masses. Both parties bear the blame. The nation deserves better.

In the Midwest, no one is talking about redoing the Republican Party. Here the party is more unified than it has been in many years.

Starting about 10 years back or so, the Missouri Republican Party went through a gut-wrenching experience. We had our Tea Party moments that almost tore the party apart. But the party adapted, changed and in many ways remade itself, incorporating parts of the Tea Party agenda. The election of Mr. Trump was the crowning achievement. Most folks knew that he didn’t represent everything that the more-conservative elements of the party wanted, but he brought a feeling that someone outside the Washington cabal would be calling the shots.

DEMOCRATS MAKE A MOCKERY OF BARR ‘HEARING’

Wednesday, July 29th, 2020

National Review

Democrats Make Mockery of Barr ‘Hearing’

www.nationalreview.com/2020/07/democrats-make-mockery-of-barr-hearing/

Barr brings out the worst in them, which is saying something.

If it’s a “hearing,” Bill Barr asked with an irked tongue in cheek, “aren’t I the one who’s supposed to be heard?”

His frustration was more than justified. Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler (D., N.Y.) and the other Democrats who control the House demanded for months that Barr come to a “hearing” and “testify.” But of course, it wasn’t anything like an actual hearing, and they didn’t want him to testify — as in actually answer questions. The session was a coveted election-year opportunity for Democrats to berate the attorney general of the United States in five-minute installments, accusing Barr of corruption, perjury, violating his oath, betraying the Constitution — at one point, even of killing thousands of COVID-19 victims (apparently, by being attorney general during a pandemic).

Especially at the beginning of the hearing, Barr easily parried the hostile questions — soliloquies with question-marks at the end. He picked apart their misstatements and disingenuous premises, and answered with aplomb. Democrats thus dropped the threadbare pretense that this was a hearing. In the main, the rest of the afternoon was devoted to raging, mock-anguished perorations about how Trump is a dictator and how Barr is helping him destroy our democracy.

These were punctuated by the occasional petulant demand that Barr answer “yes or no” a question that was either loaded or incoherent. When Barr would begin to answer, there would be foot-stomping, indignant, “I’m reclaiming my time” interruptions, claims that there was no question pending (usually after a question had just been posed), and then more Democrat filibustering about how the American people could clearly see that Barr was afraid to answer their questions . . . that they wouldn’t let him answer.

It was an embarrassing spectacle.

VIDEO MARXISM AND THE CURRENT INSURRECTION IN AMERICA

Saturday, July 25th, 2020

This is an absolutely fascinating interview with Diana West by Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch.   They cover a whole range of topics –  the corruption inside the FBI and other government agencies  re the attempt to take down President Trump, questioning why the Durham Report is taking so long, the history of Attorney General Barr,  the self admitted Marxist backgrounds of Comey and Brennan, the Marxists and Globalists  that are  behind the Black Lives Matter and Antifa movements, the Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, the  effects of the pandemic and the lockdown – just a whole range of information.  Diana West is an incredible researcher and you will find this video interview packed full of historical  information that will shed a spot light on  the turmoil that is  now  happening in our country and that  its roots date  back to the 1960’s.  Nancy

COLUMNIST MIKE ADAMS FOUND DEAD

Friday, July 24th, 2020
This is tragic as I also heard Mike Adams speak a few years ago at the  Chapel Hill Republican Women’s Club.  He was truly one of the best speakers I have ever heard and he was an outspoken and  extraordinary  conservative.  His columns can be found on www.townhall.com
Will keep you posted on the very suspicious circumstances regarding his death. Thanks to Steve Bishop for sharing this very tragic news with us and also his comments.   Nancy

We lost an exceptional educator and Conservative yesterday. Found shot in his home after weeks of harassment from some BLM like group in Wilmington.
His editorials were always well founded and logical. Saw him speak in CH a few years ago.
A sad commentary of our times.   Steve Bishop

Longtime Townhall Columnist Mike Adams Has Died

July 23, 2020

It is with saddened hearts that we report longtime Townhall columnist Mike Adams was found dead at his North Carolina home on Thursday. No details surrounding his death have been released, according to local news reports.

For the last 20 years Adams appeared regularly on these pages in defense of conservative principles. But free speech and abortion were the issues he was most passionate about. Adams had long tussled with the University of North Carolina – Wilmington, where he was a professor of criminology, set to retire Aug. 1, over the opinions he expressed at Townhall, in speeches, and on social media.

Over the years I admired his courage speaking out as a conservative on a secular campus, where colleagues and students long sought his removal. So late last year I reached out about writing a feature on him for our VIP readers. Below you’ll find that story about how he came to be the conservative Christian warrior he was.

BLACK LIVES MATTER CO-FOUNDERS: MARXIST, RADICAL AND SOROS BACKED

Friday, July 10th, 2020

This article by A.P. Dillon about Black Lives Matter co-founders was written in 2017 but is extremely relevant today.  The article gives detailed information on the militant and Marxist backgrounds of its co-founders.  Please share with your email lists.  Nancy    P.S.    Black Liberation Theology is mentioned in the article and we all remember Reverend Wright as Obama’s pastor for 20 years who was made infamous with his tirades against the U.S. government.

Black Lives Matter Co-Founders: Marxist, Radical and Soros Backed

In a previous article, we examined the origins of Black Lives Matter and how the movement ties into Liberation Theology and Black Liberation Theology.

In the earlier article, it was noted that the three women who take credit for starting Black Lives Matter openly state that this movement is about ‘reviving Black Liberation Theology’. We also examined how Black Lives Matter has inserted their own platform of elevating illegal aliens, black women and in particular gay and transgender blacks.

The founders of a hashtag that set a country on fire are Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and Patrisse Cullors. But who are these women and what do they stand for?

These three women who founded Black Lives Matter are not your average Americans.
All of them are radicals of varying degrees, all three share a Marxist ideology and all three appear to be taking their hashtag and their activism to the bank.

About Alicia Garza

Alicia Garza was born in 1981 and currently resides in Oakland, California and has described herself as a ‘queer Social Justice activist’ and an editorial writer. One of her heroes is Assata Shakur. Garza lauds Shakur’s contributions to the ‘Black Liberation Movement’.

For those unfamiliar with that name, Shakur is a Marxist revolutionary, a member of the Black Liberation Army, and a former Black Panther. In 1972, Shakur and an associate shot and killed a New Jersey State Trooper and injured another. In 1977, Shakur was convicted of seven felonies, including the murder of the State Trooper. In 1979, Shakur escaped prison and fled to Cuba in 1984, where she sought political asylum. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie called for her extradition earlier in 2016.

Garza’s view is that Black Lives Matter is about reviving the Black Liberation Movement and subsequent theology. Garza sees Black Lives Matter as a vehicle for the promotion of “Black queer and trans folks”. Garza’s rationale is that these groups, “bear a unique burden in a hetero-patriarchal society that disposes of us like garbage and simultaneously fetishizes us and profits off of us.”

Speaking of profits, Garza directs the Special Project at the National Domestic Workers Alliance, which is a coalition of, “nannies, housekeepers and care workers”. This organization is a 501(c)3 which has received over $50,000 from George Soros’ Tides Foundation, who has also been a major funding source for Black Lives Matter. The group received $10,000 in 2013 and $40,804 in 2014.

Garza is also noted to be the on the Board for People Organized to Win Employment Rights (POWER), a Board member of the School of Unity and Liberation (SOUL) and she was the Board Chair in 2011 for the Right to the City Alliance (RTCA). All of these organizations are well-funded and appear have over-lapping partnerships, funding sources, and alliances.
