EXPLOSIVE VIDEO – GLENN BECK – “TIRED OF IT!”

Monday, June 8th, 2020

This is one of the most powerful videos that Glenn Beck has done.  Please share   Nancy    P.S.   This video will occasionally stop for a commercial..  Just click on SKIP AD and the video will continue.
Glenn has had enough. Do politicians on the left stand for ANYTHING that they preach? Because one month ago they were locking people inside their homes, ARRESTING business owners, and destroying our economy. They said it was necessary. They said millions of Americans would die from COVID-19 if we didn’t step in line, close our doors, and let our neighbor’s livelihoods be destroyed. But now, those very same leaders are out in the streets, surrounded by MASSES of people, marching in the Floyd protests san-mask. What happened to COVID-19? Social distancing? They called the Tea Party protests violent. But now, according to CNN, violence should be EXPECTED when fighting injustices. And while riots destroy our cities and our nation burns, sharing our thoughts on the electronic “public square” only brings even stronger efforts to edit unpopular opinions out of existence.

CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN: THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM OF THE RIOTS

Friday, June 5th, 2020

Coronavirus lockdowns: the ‘elephant in the room’ of the riots

‘The frustration and anger at the lockdowns and the perception that blacks are getting the worst of it’ made the rioters a seething mass waiting to explode, says medical sociologist Robert Bartholomew.

Last Updated:
June 4, 2020 – 1

The “George Floyd Riots.” That’s how they are known in the mainstream media narrative, and likely how they will be remembered by history.

Certainly, George Floyd’s death at the hands of a white Minnesota police officer was the spark that set off what may be the most widespread riots in U.S. history. But sparks go nowhere without fuel.

In the provocative view of Robert Bartholomew, American-born medical sociologist at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, it was the COVID-19 lockdowns that supplied the fuel — both directly and indirectly — for the mass violence now ripping apart the country.

First, there’s the initial incident itself.

According to news reports, the unemployed Floyd was reported to Minneapolis police for trying to pass off a fake $20 bill at a grocery store. Floyd had lost his job when the restaurant where he had worked as a bouncer was closed — due to locking down.

Of course, Floyd might have possibly tried to pass a counterfeit bill if gainfully employed. For while he was a tragic victim, he was not a saint: He had been convicted of various crimes before moving to Minnesota and did hard time in Texas for robbery.

But despite his record, Floyd had been “clean” in Minnesota for five years, and he reportedly had a good reputation at the store. The manager wasn’t on duty at the time, but rather a teenage employee who just followed protocol in reporting Floyd.

Before he became a casualty of police violence, in other words, George Floyd was already one of millions of economic casualties of the coronavirus lockdowns that blanketed much of the nation (until, that is, Floyd’s death touched off mass protests across America, including in some of the cities hit the hardest by the pandemic, like New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.)

The coronavirus lockdowns are “the elephant in the room that nobody dares speak of,” Bartholomew told Just the News. “Riots are never caused by a singular event but a series that builds and builds.”

‘Please consider removing references to COVID-19’: Amazon initially censors book written by lockdown critic Alex Berenson

By Andrew Mark Miller   June 4, 2020

Amazon attempted to censor a book about the coronavirus written by former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson after offering a suggestion on how to adjust his approach, but the company has since relented.

Berenson’s book, Unreported Truths About COVID-19 And Lockdowns Part 1: Introductions and Death Counts and Estimates, was the first part of a series of short e-books about the coronavirus, but Amazon sent the author a message saying that the book did not comply with the company’s guidelines, according to Breitbart News.

“Due to the rapidly changing nature of information around the COVID-19 virus, we are referring customers to official sources for health information about the virus,” Amazon said to Berenson. “Please consider removing references to COVID-19 for this book.”

“This is insane @JeffBezos,” Musk tweeted, adding, “Time to break up Amazon. Monopolies are wrong!”

UNITED STATES MUST RESTORE ITS INDEPENDENCE FROM CHINA

Monday, June 1st, 2020

THE WASHINGTON TIMES

United States must restore its independence from China

Cold War games entwine medicine, rare earth minerals and more

by Jeb Babbin  Jed Babbin, a deputy undersecretary of Defense in the George H.W. Bush administration, is the author of “In the Words of Our Enemies.”    May 17, 2020

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Though no one in our government speaks in these terms, we are decades into a Second Cold War, this time with China. Unlike the Soviet Union, China is so deeply involved in our economy and brazen in its aggression that our ability to deal with the threats it poses is uncertain.

There are a dozen reasons for the U.S.-China rivalry — all of which are based on the ideological difference between America, a free nation, and Communist China, a totalitarian state. It was inevitable that, as China rose and the Soviet Union fell, the imbalance in global power would result in a second cold war between the United States and China.

The natural evolution of the new Cold War has produced an adversarial relationship from China’s pursuit of domination over U.S. allies such as Japan, its persistently aggressive cyberwar against us and its aggression in the South

In 1990, Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping issued his “24-character strategy,” which centered around concepts such as “secure our positions,” “hide our capacities and bide our time” and “never claim leadership.” China’s current leader, Xi Jinping, hasn’t descended into the shrillness of Nikita Khrushchev’s “we will bury you,” but has given up the pretense of restraint in claiming China’s position as a global power.

One of the hallmarks of the first Cold War was the ideological struggle against Soviet communism. Another was the ever-present fear of nuclear war. Both of those factors are central to the new Cold War but seem to be ignored by American leaders.

Since January, U.S. scientists have been racing to develop a vaccine and treatments for the COVID-19 virus. Chinese cyber thieves have been working just as hard trying to steal every bit of information our scientists possess and every finding they make. China’s cyberattacks are reportedly also seeking to interfere in and sabotage our scientists’ work.

The People’s Republic of Queensland

The dubious conduct of an Australian university with Chinese ties shows the CCP’s long reach abroad.

The University of Queensland is what Australians call a “sandstone university,” something like the American Ivy League in prestige. Queensland consistently appears on lists of the world’s 100 best universities and is widely seen as one of the top three in Australia.

Lately, however, its cozy relationship with China has ignited a firestorm. Questions have been asked in Australia’s Parliament, and stories in the country’s leading newspapers and on its public television network have raked administrators over the coals. A Journal news story offers an overview of the scandal.

Queensland’s purgatory began last July during a peaceful student demonstration in support of Hong Kongers protesting for democracy and in solidarity with persecuted Uighurs in Xinjiang. The demonstrators were set upon by what observers said was a well-organized group of about 300 students and nonstudents, many shouting slogans in Chinese. As some filmed the rally, counterdemonstrators snatched megaphones from the pro-Hong Kong and pro-Uighur protesters and sought to break up the rally. Punches were thrown.

Xu Jie, China’s consul general in Brisbane, commended the counter-demonstrators for their “acts of patriotism,” while blaming the pro-Hong Kong students for “igniting anger and sparking protests from Chinese students.” In a highly unusual step, Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne warned all foreign diplomats in Australia to respect the rights of free speech and peaceful protest. Amid all this, the press reported that Mr. Xu had recently been appointed an adjunct professor at the university.

Trump says he’s taking drug hydroxychloroquine to prevent coronavirus infection

The president said the drug was prescribed by the White House physicians

Last Updated:

President Trump said Monday that’s he takes the drug hydroxychloroquine as a preventive measure for the coronavirus.

The drug has long been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of malaria and other diseases but is only approved by the agency on an emergency basis to treat the coronavirus.

Frontline workers, many, many are are taking it,” Trump said. “I happen to be taking it.”

The president said he has a prescription for the drug from White House physicians. He also said that he’s taking it in combination with zinc.

“All I can tell you is so far I seem to be OK,” said Trump, who said he’s been taking the drug for about one or two weeks.

Results about whether the drug can help coronavirus patients still remains unclear.

Trump’s surprise announcement has raised some concern about a run on the drug.

SILENCING THE LOCKDOWN SKEPTIC

Monday, May 18th, 2020

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
The Lockdown Skeptic They Couldn’t Silence
By Allysia Finley   Ms Finley is a member of the Journal’s editorial board  May 16, 2020

Does a pandemic demand the strong medicine of censorship? Social-media companies seem to think so. They’re taking steps to control speech in the name of combating the spread of medical misinformation. Facebook employs “fact checkers” to review posts, makes those that don’t pass their test harder to find, and directs users to purportedly reliable sources like the World Health Organization. YouTube has taken down videos it deems inconsistent with science. Twitter plans to add warning labels to tweets that don’t pass muster with “subject-matter experts, such as public health authorities.”

Aaron Ginn’s story is a cautionary tale that even well-intended censorship can overreach, suppressing the search for truth. Mr. Ginn, 32, is the Silicon Valley technologist who posted an essay on March 20 titled “Evidence over hysteria—COVID-19” on the Medium website. Citing academic research and government data, Mr. Ginn argued that public-health experts were focusing too much on “flattening the curve . . . while ignoring the economic shock to our system” of shuttering businesses and schools and ordering Americans to stay home.

“When 13% of Americans believe they are currently infected with COVID-19 (mathematically impossible),” he wrote, “full-on panic is blocking our ability to think clearly and determine how to deploy our resources to stop this virus.” The message was well-timed—the day he posted it, Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered “nonessential” New York businesses to close.

Mr. Ginn’s essay drew 2.6 million page views in 24 hours—and a barrage of liberal criticism. Carl T. Bergstrom, a University of Washington biologist, called it “Shakespeare run through google translate into Japanese, then translated back to English by someone who’d never heard of Shakespeare.” Then Medium took it down, saying it violated rules under a “risk analysis framework we use for ‘Controversial, Suspect and Extreme content.’ ”

PROTECTIVE LINK BETWEEN VITAMIN D AND COVID 19

Wednesday, May 13th, 2020

This information was sent to me this morning from Mary Carter, one of our conservative ladies.  Mary received this information from Dr. B Todd Granger, her physician, regarding the  protective role vitamin D may play with  Covid-19.  Please share with others .   Nancy

Subject: Dr. B. Todd Granger: Transcript of Dr. Manson’s video presentation

Dear Mary Carter,

I’ve discovered that the link opens up Dr. Manson’s video presentation on vitamin D and protection against COVID-19 only if you have an account with Medscape. Here is the transcript of her presentation in its entirety. My apologies for the odd formatting that occurred in copying and pasting the transcript.

Hello. This is Dr JoAnn Manson, professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
I’d like to talk with you about vitamin D and COVID-19. Is there potentially a protective role?
We’ve known for a long time that it’s important to avoid vitamin D
deficiency for bone health, cardiometabolic health, and other purposes.
But it may be even more important now than ever. There’s emerging and
growing evidence that vitamin D status may be relevant to the risk of
developing COVID-19 infection and to the severity of the disease.
Vitamin D is important to innate immunity and boosts immune function
against viral diseases. We also know that vitamin D has an
immune-modulating effect and can lower inflammation, and this may be
relevant to the respiratory response during COVID-19 and the cytokine storm that’s been demonstrated.
There are laboratory (cell-culture) studies of respiratory cells that
document some of these effects of vitamin D. There’s also evidence that
patients with respiratory infections tend to have lower blood levels of 25-hydroxy-vitamin D.
