The Atlantic Hit Piece on Trump Is a Psy-Op To Justify Post-Election Violence if Harris Loses
The outlandish hit piece on Donald Trump published this week by Jeffery Goldberg at The Atlantic, which was immediately denied on the record by all the people who were in the room with Trump, isn’t just a shoddy smear that would never have passed muster in a newsroom 20 years ago.
It’s more than that. It’s part of a larger psy-op to justify mass post-election violence if Trump wins in November, to signal activists to reject the results of the election, to divide the military, and to coax an insurgency out of the radical left-wing base of the Democratic Party and unleash it on American cities.
Vice President Kamala Harris’ shocking remarks Wednesday on the steps of the Naval Observatory should be understood in this light. Citing comments quoted in The Atlantic from former Trump chief of staff John Kelly, Harris explicitly compared Trump to Hitler and claimed that if elected he will rule as a dictator and unleash the military on his domestic political opponents.
“He does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution, he wants a military that is loyal to him,” she said. “He wants a military that is loyal to him personally. One that will obey his orders even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States.”
Harris went on to call Trump a fascist, claim he would be a dictator on day one, and repeat a line she’s been using often lately, that Trump will use the military to go after American citizens, using it as “his personal militia to carry out his personal and political vendettas.” She closed by saying Trump is “increasing unhinged and unstable” and that he “wants unchecked power.”

“During the blessed last 10 days of Ramadan, we celebrate our Administration’s incredible Muslim team,” Vice President Kamala Harris announced, posing on the steps of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building with some of the most controversial figures in the administration.
There right behind Kamala was Nasrina Bargzie, her deputy counsel and future Muslim liaison, who had been interviewed by the FBI after 9/11, wore orange for the Islamic terrorists at Gitmo and had fought a lawsuit Jewish students over harassment by pro-terrorist activists at Berkeley.
Second from Kamala’s right was Mazen Basrawi, Biden’s current Muslim liaison, who had attended a conference honoring one of the unindicted co-conspirators of the World Trade Center bombing, and whose appointment was hailed by Muslim Brotherhood groups.
Second from Kamala’s left was Brenda Abdelall, who had taken part in anti-Israel protests in college, and had falsely accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing” as part of a “brutal occupation”. Abdelall became the “assistant secretary for partnership and engagement” at the Department of Homeland Security in the Biden-Harris administration and then appeared at a convention where speakers had called for a caliphate ruled by Islamic law and freeing Islamic terrorists.
If someone asked me to name the most radical state education standards in the country, I’d point to Minnesota. I did just that last year when I singled out Rhode Island, Illinois, and Minnesota as the embodiments of our “Blue State Education Nightmare.” Truly, Minnesota is the worst of the lot, and I’m going to tell you why.
Note first, however, that the story of Minnesota’s nightmare education standards isn’t just about Tim Walz’s radicalism, although it certainly establishes that. No, the problem is that America is still largely blind to the threat that Minnesota’s standards represent. Minnesota’s reworked education standards, steeped in the benign-sounding “ethnic studies” approach, are a kind of stealth critical race theory.
Ethnic studies derives from a different radical tradition than CRT, although the two traditions now blend and overlap. But while critical race theory is known and understood, ethnic studies still sounds to most Americans like innocent heritage boosterism.
In reality, ethnic studies — especially the brand of it Tim Walz has brought to Minnesota — is race-based neo-Marxism. Essentially, ethnic studies is a kind of anti-civics in which students are taught to reject and replace America’s system of government.
And the same neo-Marxist radicalism that now has Minnesota’s public schools in its grip pervades the new Advanced Placement African American Studies course. That AP African American Studies course is being contested in a few states but is still accepted in most. Once AP African American Studies is established, AP Ethnic Studies is sure to follow, not to mention AP Gender Studies and more. So between the College Board and state-standards takeovers like we’ve seen in Minnesota, a bizarre and radical brand of race-based Marxism — a kind of cousin of CRT — is on the march through our schools. Most Americans still don’t get that, so here’s the story you should know.
The people have spoken, and last week former President Barack Obama called Vice President Kamala Harris to tell her. His endorsement of her run for the presidency was captured in a short video documenting the candidate’s reaction. “Although you called for an open process,” said Obama, “and you know, Democrats have, have put in place an open process, it appears that people feel very strongly that you need to be our nominee.”
But without a primary, without a popular referendum, without even the open convention that Obama was rumored to favor, how did the people make their will known, and strongly? Was it social media influencers? Mass rallies across the country? Media chronicling the excitement surrounding a Harris candidacy? No, it was nothing like that. Obama is the people. The people are Obama.
The endorsement was more than five years in the making. Obama had long wanted her in that spot. Their families are old friends. Like him, Harris is progressive, multiracial, physically attractive, nominally hip, a child of academics—in other words, according to Obama-friendly media, she’s a “female Barack Obama.” He directed donors to support her 2020 presidential campaign, Capitol Hill sources told me at the time. More billionaires, 47, backed her campaign than any other candidate’s—with Obama strongholds in Hollywood (Steven Spielberg and George Lucas) and Big Tech (Reid Hoffman, Laurene Powell Jobs, Craig Newmark, etc.) leading the way.
Obama got her the vice presidential nod even when she was forced to drop out of the primary race after hitting just 3 percent in the polls. Jill Biden objected—Harris had called her husband a racist! The First Lady’s reported recent tantrums show that even after four years, she never fully grasped the arrangement the party had made with her husband. Biden was just an imperfect placeholder for Obama, and it was only a matter of time before the superior avatar would be slotted in.
Mainstreaming the psychological modalities and media techniques of the Manson family is not normal in America. But then again, as Obama’s biographer David Garrow explained, ‘He’s not normal.’
President Joe Biden won in 2020 on the premise that until the November election, he would pose as good ol’ Joe from Scranton and not scare voters.
So Biden talked about “unity” and “competency.” He erased his prior wild primary pandering to left-wing voters about shutting down fracking and opening the border.
But as soon as he was elected in 2020, Biden became the leftist veneer for a hyper-radical Obama third term.
Fooled and naive voters were shocked that their supposedly moderate candidate turned into a veritable neo-socialist president.
In general, the left acknowledges that its spread-the-wealth, high taxes, big government, open borders, soft on crime, and woke DEI agendas don’t appeal to 51 percent of the people.
That reality requires disinformation for leftist policies to be implemented.
No one voted for the Biden-Harris ticket to borrow trillions sparking hyperinflation, to wage war on fossil fuels, to go woke, to welcome in 10 million illegal aliens, to abandon $50 billion in weapons to the terrorist Taliban, and to find America facing existential wars in Ukraine and the Middle East and soon perhaps over Taiwan.
But getting leftists elected requires fooling the American people into thinking their “moderate” campaign veneers will continue into their presidencies — even though they never do.
So, for now, Harris and her new vice presidential candidate, Tim Walz, will smother all their cherished left-wing positions — at least until November.
The two left-wing chameleons will assume the temporary identities and policies of “moderates.” That is a de facto admission that they know that the public does not want any of their true agendas.
The temporary metamorphosis means that the leftist nominees superficially feign agreement with what most Americans support –energy independence, low taxes, limited government, strong defense, deterrent foreign policy, secure borders, legal-only immigration, and assimilation rather than woke/DEI tribalism.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are the most brazen and extreme examples of left-wing flip-floppers in memory.
Former President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago residence on Friday, the first time the pair have met since the former president left office in January 2021.
“If we don’t,“ he added, ”you’re going to end up with major wars in the Middle East, and maybe a third world war.”
That work included negotiating the Abraham Accords, relocating the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and “recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights,“ the campaign said. The Trump team also cited “eliminating Qasem Soleimani, ending the horrific Iran Nuclear Deal, as well as combatting anti-Semitism in America and abroad” as accomplishments.
Former President Trump also “expressed his solidarity with Israel” in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas terrorists. He promised “to bring Peace to the Middle East and combat anti-Semitism from spreading throughout college campuses across the United States.”

I grew up without a care in the world as to whether or not this was a free country. I watched the hippies bomb the Capitol. I saw them burn flags. I watched films that explored dark and provocative territory. It never occurred to me that one day, the party I called home would decide that free speech was too much of a threat, and they had the right to tell us what we could and couldn’t say.
Before Elon Musk bought Twitter, we were edging ever so close to the government censoring thought and speech via social media. A brave group of rebels fought back and confronted the government. There is a thriving independent press where free thought is still welcome.
The American Revolution is considered one of our history’s Fourth Turnings. The Right sees this moment we’re living through now as a revolution of sorts. The Left sees it as a Civil War. They’ve cast themselves as the Union Army and MAGA as the Confederacy. They could not justify everything they’ve done to them otherwise.
I didn’t know I was an American until I felt the fundamental rights the revolutionaries fought for slipping away. The government in power now has abused its power, making the words in the Declaration of Independence ring true even today.
