PHOTOS – ICON LECTURE – WORLDWIDE PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS AND JEWS
ICON Lecture Series presented “The Worldwide Persecution of Christians and Jews” on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The guest speakers were Dr. Mark Harris, Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, who was also a candidate in the Republican Primary for the U.S. Senate in 2014 and Pastor Les Lawrence, author of “Blessing Israel” and “Simple Islam” and who is also a spokesman for Christian Zionism. As a horrified world watches, ISIS and other radical Islamic groups have been systematically targeting and killing Christians and Jews. Both of our speakers have visited Israel numerous times and gave us tremendous insight to the magnitude of this persecution and inspiration as to how to stand up and speak out against this threat to religious liberty throughout the world.
