IRS TO TARGET MORE WHITE AND ASIAN PEOPLE FOR TAX AUDITS

Thursday, February 23rd, 2023

IRS ‘is developing new Biden-backed algorithm that’ll see more white and Asian people targeted for tax audits to boost racial “equity”

  • America First Legal Foundation filed a Freedom of Information Act request for internal Treasury Department communications
  • It claims that an executive order signed by President Biden last week encourages the IRS to alter its algorithms  to audit more white and Asian taxpayers
  • The algorithm the IRS uses was found to target black households and businesses more than non-black households and businesses

FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION OF AMERICA

Saturday, January 21st, 2023

Hi Everyone,  I’ve been down here in The Villages in Florida for the past several weeks and had lunch today with a good friend and  one of our conservative ladies, Mary Lou Drake and her husband Bob and a few of their friends.  Of course, the conversation turned to the political problems we are having and someone mentioned Cloward & Piven.  After lunch Mary Lou did a little homework and found this 2015 article by Glenn Beck where he clearly lays out the roots of all the problems we are now having in our country.  Glenn Beck does a great job at giving us the historical background of how  these problems have been building.   Actually, back to  Woodrow Wilson and the creation of the Federal Reserve and through the 60’s and on.  So, sit back, pour yourself something a bit strong and read it and weep.!   Nancy
Cloward & Piven and the Fundamental Transformation of America
Published May 15, 2015     By Glen Beck
I’m going to give you a hard concept to get your arms around: It’s the concept that there are people in this country who want to intentionally collapse our economic system. How could it be that any American would or would want to do such a thing? Well, those involved sleep just fine at night because they tell themselves that they’re not collapsing, they’re transforming — transforming — America into something better. The progressive movement in which these people are involved started around the turn of last century. These are the same people who gave us the Federal Reserve. They brought America the concept of redistribution of wealth through the progressive income tax, telling Americans at first that only the rich would be affected. They are the same people who felt that they knew better about your health than you did that they needed to force you to stop drinking alcoholthrough Prohibition. They brought us the League of Nations, then the United Nations. And their biggest contribution of all: They brought the understanding that our Constitution was a flawed, living, breathing document and that our Founding Fathers were a group of rich racists. Now, today’s group of progressives do not speak the same language as you and I do: Economic justice is taking from haves and giving to the have nots; social justice, to quote Mark Lloyd, is when someone needs to step down so someone else can have a turn, and transforming America means collapsing the state as we know it and rebooting it as a progressive utopia. None of the language is the same. What I would call socialist, they call social justice. That’s critical to understand; they really believe they’re making things better and they’re about to finish the process. They learned from their earlier failed attempts to transform America and the world, like the League of Nations. First, there can’t be a debate. They simply declare the debate over and that they have consensus already. Second, they can’t conduct their transformation in the open. And third, they can never let a good crisis go to waste. Now, as we discuss this, keep in mind that you’re watching all of this through your eyes; you see this as trying to collapse our economy. But progressives see this as a fundamental transformation — something better than we’ve ever had — as promised by Barack Obama: (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP, OCT. 30, 2008) THEN-PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE BARACK OBAMA: We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America. (END VIDEO CLIP) So, let me introduce you to the people you would say are fundamentally responsible for the unsustainability and possible collapse of our economic system: Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven, authors of the Cloward-Piven strategy. Something else to remember is that this isn’t some conspiracy theory that we’re tossing out; they wrote about collapsing the economy and how they planned to do it in the article they co-authored in the ’60s called, “Mobilizing the Poor: How it Could Be Done.” Six months later, it was published in The Nation, under the title “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty.” So, just what is Cloward-Piven? Well, remember the tree:

THE OMNIBUS SPENDING BILL FIASCO

Thursday, December 22nd, 2022

Thanks to Evelyn Kober for sharing this article re the omnibus bill that is filled with an incredible amount of pork, money to protect  Ukraine’s border but not our border and more money for the FBI just to name a few of the more obscene money that is  being spent in this bill.     If your blood isn’t boiling already, just wait until you read this article.   We will remember which Republican senators  vote for this monstrosity.  Please share with your contacts.    Nancy

$1.7T spending bill stuffed with giveaways for favored groups from lobster industry to LGBTQIA+

GOP Rep. Dan Bishop identified $575 million in the bill for “family planning/reproductive health” in areas where population growth “threatens biodiversity.”

By Nicholas Ballasy

December 21, 2022

The $1.7 trillion, 4,155-page omnibus bill that congressional negotiators have unveiled is stuffed with pork and shouldn’t be passed, according to a group of conservative GOP lawmakers and the Heritage Foundation.

Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, are rushing to move the bill to passage before the Christmas break. A floor vote in the Senate could come as soon as Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a group of 13 House GOP members have pledged to block “any legislative priority” of GOP senators who vote for the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.

North Carolina GOP Rep. Dan Bishop worked with his staff to comb through the massive bill and identified $575 million for “family planning/reproductive health” in areas where population growth “threatens biodiversity.” Bishop and his staff also identified nearly $1.5 billion for “membership in global multilateral organizations,” such as the United Nations.

The legislation includes $2.3 million for informing the public that President Biden is taking action to cancel up to $20,000 of student loan debt for qualified borrowers. Biden’s student loan forgiveness program, which he implemented without congressional authority, is currently on hold pending Supreme Court review.

Biden’s IRS Commish Pick Covered Up Obama’s Targeting of Conservatives
Daniel Greenfield, 07 Dec 09:11 AM

When Danny Werfel first appeared before Congress after the IRS scandal, he told them all the right things.

“It’s completely inexcusable,” the new acting IRS commissioner reassured members of the House Appropriations Committee. “This important agency is founded on the principle of operating impartially, and we failed in that most basic core principle.”

“The agency stands ready to confront the problems that occurred, hold accountable those who acted inappropriately, be open about what happened, and permanently fix these problems so that such missteps do not occur again.”

In the wake of the revelation that the IRS had targeted conservative nonprofits, there was a lot of outrage and the Obama administration sent in Werfel to clean house. He condemned Lois Lerner, the key figure and arguably the scapegoat for the IRS operation targeting conservatives, and claimed to be very upset that this sort of thing had been going on..

“We have to get to the bottom of it,” Werfel told Congress. “We will uncover every fact . . . I’m like everybody else. I’m frustrated, too.”

Anyone who seriously believed that the Obama administration was going to appoint anyone to head the IRS who would actually get to the bottom of things or uncover every fact was swiftly disabused of that naivete when Werfel released a report later that month covering it all up.

According to the report there was no targeting of conservatives.

If this were happening in another country, the State Department would condemn it and fund the opposition.

The Washington Establishment Fears A Second Term Trump
Suppose an individual objectively looks at how Washington D.C. reacted to Trump’s election and potential second term. In that case, they will see that establishment politicians do not care about American citizens, only their selfish ambitions.

HIGH GAS PRICES- GOVERNMENT CARBON TAX SCAM

Thursday, June 2nd, 2022

High Gas Prices are Caused by Governments, Not Companies
by Daniel Greenfield Jun 2, 2022
When Governor Newsom and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern met to announce a deal between the tiny country and the broken state, it was another example of California illegally enacting its own foreign policy. And a reminder of why California gas prices are so high.

The memorandum had California promising to be “carbon neutral” by 2045 and to promote the “environmental integrity of carbon pricing instruments”. California’s crooked carbon pricing schemes have become notorious for both their worthlessness and their corruption.

And California drivers are paying the price.

report from Stillwater Associates last year found that California consumers were paying an extra $1.19 a gallon. This year the added costs include a 51 cent state excise tax, an 18 cent sales tax, 20 cents for Fuels Under the Cap, part of the state’s corrupt environmental cap and trade program and 17 cents for the Low Carbon Fuel Standard.

Californians are paying a $1.41 federal and state tax markup on $3 bucks of crude.

Or almost half.

Biden and other Democrats have blamed corporate profits, but the gas stations and suppliers are making a mere 33 cents a gallon or less than a third of the state’s added $1.08 in various taxes. Even the refiners are only making 72 cents. The biggest piece of the pie is coming from the taxes, many of them hidden, imposed by Democrats in the name of saving the planet.

VIDEO-RONALD REAGAN SPEECH 1966

Tuesday, April 19th, 2022

Thanks to Gary Kanady for sharing with us his comments re the historical background of the conservative positions starting with this amazing speech that Ronald Reagan gave in 1966 ( see  youtube link below Gary’s comments)  Nancy

Every day we’re being bombarded by new political tactics, hidden enemies, and false friends, right? Nope, there’s not much happening these days that we haven’t been warned about, as the attached video shows. This 1966 speech could have been given yesterday, with the figures adjusted for inflation, and it would have made perfect sense.

Let me set the stage. The 1954 Brown V Board of Election case, in which the U.S. Supreme Court declared state laws establishing separate public schools for students of different races to be unconstitutional, was decided in the Spring of my sophomore year in high school. We integrated our high school the next fall. I entered the Navy in 1960. My starting salary for the year was $4,800. One of my first goals was to get to $10,000 a year. Two years after that, I was patrolling in a submarine three miles off the coast of North Vietnam. That year, the Supreme Court banned prayer in schools. Two years later Ronald Reagan came on the political stage with his “Time for Choosing” introduction of presidential candidate Barry Goldwater at the 1964 Republican National Convention, the same year Lyndon B. Johnson announced his Great Society program as the cornerstone of his domestic policy.

What do all these events have to do with today? I’ll let you listen to the Great Communicator explain. After you listen, ask yourself if we’ve learned anything from history.

Bottom line: ELECTIONS MATTER!

COVID BILL’S WASTEFUL SPENDING BY THE DEMOCRATS

Here’s Some Of The Garbage Democrats Funded As ‘Covid Relief’
APRIL 04, 2022
EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:
As the nation’s debt has passed $30 trillion and inflation continues to skyrocket, federal funds are being used to fund four-star hotels and bailouts for deadbeat dads.
“$1 million to pay off overdue child support in St. Louis. A city memo states that owing child support stops some people from looking for work because the overdue payments are garnished from paychecks; the program would ‘empower individuals’ by paying down a portion.” Translation: St. Louis is bailing out deadbeat dads who have skipped out on their obligations to their children—a fine way to teach responsible parenting.
$300,000 for a museum in Worcester, Massachusetts honoring a famous African American bicycle rider from the turn of the last century.
$5 million for the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, which “features niche sporting contests such as DanceSport, korfball, and flying disc.”
$2 million to purchase a ski area in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
“$6.6 million to replace irrigation systems at two golf courses in Colorado Springs.”
“$2.5 million to hire new parking enforcement officers in Washington, DC.” As a District resident, I particularly “appreciate” this “investment”—because if there’s one thing Washington needs, it’s more government bureaucrats levying arbitrary fines.
A $12 million renovation for a minor league baseball stadium in Dutchess County, New York.
$5 million from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts “to pay off the debts of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate in Boston, a nonprofit established to honor the late senator that has struggled financially.”
$15 million in New Jersey to fund upgrades “to sweeten the state’s bid to host the 2026 World Cup.”
$53,000 to renovate City Hall in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Tens of millions of dollars for tourist marketing campaigns—as if people who felt uncomfortable traveling during Covid need any more incentive to take a much-needed vacation.
$140 million to fund a 29-story, 800-room hotel in Broward County, Florida that the county will own while a private company will manage. (Why a county has any business owning a hotel is anyone’s guess.) To get around a federal prohibition on using the “Covid relief” money for large capital projects, the county commissioners transferred the federal aid to the county’s general fund, then transferred general fund dollars to the project. If anyone in the private sector tried a gimmick like this, he would get arrested for money laundering—but it’s all in a day’s work for government entities maximizing the cash they can squeeze out of Washington.
