$1.7T spending bill stuffed with giveaways for favored groups from lobster industry to LGBTQIA+

The $1.7 trillion, 4,155-page omnibus bill that congressional negotiators have unveiled is stuffed with pork and shouldn’t be passed, according to a group of conservative GOP lawmakers and the Heritage Foundation.
Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, are rushing to move the bill to passage before the Christmas break. A floor vote in the Senate could come as soon as Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a group of 13 House GOP members have pledged to block “any legislative priority” of GOP senators who vote for the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.
North Carolina GOP Rep. Dan Bishop worked with his staff to comb through the massive bill and identified $575 million for “family planning/reproductive health” in areas where population growth “threatens biodiversity.” Bishop and his staff also identified nearly $1.5 billion for “membership in global multilateral organizations,” such as the United Nations.
The legislation includes $2.3 million for informing the public that President Biden is taking action to cancel up to $20,000 of student loan debt for qualified borrowers. Biden’s student loan forgiveness program, which he implemented without congressional authority, is currently on hold pending Supreme Court review.

The Anti-Fascist Fraud
Anti-fascists love to intimidate others by claiming a moral high ground, even if that high ground is below sea-level. Anti-fascists promoted the destruction of minority-owned small businesses in the summer of 2020 in the name of fighting systemic racism, anti-fascists trampled the Bill of Rights during COVID lockdowns for the sake of public health, and anti-fascists hate Elon Musk’s desire to promote “Free Speech” on Twitter because speech (like silence, oddly enough) is violence.
One hotly contested battle between current anti-fascism and common sense is K-12 education. Anti-fascists paint parents and teachers concerned about pornographic books in school libraries as “literal Nazis.” Books like Gender Queer contain graphic pictures of sexual acts; however, according to the Left this book should remain in school libraries to champion Diversity and Inclusion. If a parent holds the opinion that the sexualized material might be too graphic for minors, that parent is a fascist on par with Mussolini.
But what happens when the anti-fascists want to ban books? Do they become fascist-anti-fascists or anti-anti-fascists?
Last week, the anti-fascist Twitter account “Silent Sam I Am” (named after Silent Sam, the confederate statue violently toppled at UNC-Chapel Hill) tweeted the following:

The Left Were the Mad Scientists — We Were Their Lab Rats
The only thing that will stop their mad experimentation is that they have run out of us.
As the midterms approach, one way of looking at America’s current disaster is that we, the American people, were lab rats. And since 2021, the Left were the mad scientists, eager to try out their crackpot leftist experiments on us.
The result is that the housing market is tottering on the verge of collapse.
As interest rates soar, our $31 trillion national debt crowds out everything else in the budget.
Inflation roars at a rate of 8-9 percent per annum, higher than at any time in 40 years. Yet the prices of the stuff of life — food, fuel, shelter, energy — are far steeper still than the official rate.
No one is safe from thugs anymore — whether a commuter on a New York subway or the Pelosis in Pacific Heights.
The country reportedly has a 25-day supply of diesel fuel — the energy source that runs the nation. Meanwhile, we keep draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve of oil, a commodity we have in abundance but refuse to produce fully.

Primary Care Institution Prioritizes ‘Gender-Affirming’ Medicine for Children

Projections vary, but the consensus of any number of studies forecasts a significant physician shortage for the United States over the next decade. A 2020 study predicted a total physician deficit of nearly 140,000 by 2030. The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) 2021 report on physician supply and demand calculates that the U.S. population rate will grow by 10.8% with a potential shortage of 48,000 primary care doctors by 2034. “Population growth and aging continue to have the greatest impact on demand growth,” concludes the AAMC.
Public health officials offer various solutions to this problem such as increasing the number of medical schools, recruiting foreign-trained doctors, and advancing telehealth technology. Some medical schools and training programs pride themselves on primary care physician development, emphasizing programs in rural health and regional healthcare.
One such program is East Carolina University (ECU) and the Brody School of Medicine (BSoM) in North Carolina. In 2018, 59% of the medical school graduating class at Brody matched in primary care residencies; in 2022, 61% of students matched into primary care. BSoM graduates the 2nd highest number of physicians entering family practice in the country. ECU has an Office of Generalist Programs, dedicated to “increasing the number of medical students entering primary care careers.”
The North Carolina General Assembly rewarded ECU’s commitment to primary care by specifying $215 million in funding for ECU’s School of Medicine in the 2021 state budget. The ECU Chancellor noted the funds were, “a landmark moment for the future of rural health care and medical education [emphasis added] in our state and region.” This would indicate that ECU’s medical community and the NC taxpayers are doing their part to narrow the projected gap of primary care supply and demand. So why — only a few months after the $215 million government award — has ECU Medicine started a primary care program to provide sex-change drugs to children?

The Premeditated Murder of the American Family
“YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE THERE”

(Oct. 12, 2022) — In 1959, I was 18, newly married to my former boyfriend of four years, and thrilled to be starting my “grown-up” life with the man of my dreams. Little did my then-apolitical self know that the close of that halcyon decade had been preceded by nearly a century of a concerted effort to destroy the American family, an effort fueled by the same fanatical Communist zealots who now occupy the Oval Office of the United States of America!
Now why would anyone––much less a huge number of people––want to destroy the greatest and most successful experiment in government in world history, one which President Abraham Lincoln described as “of the people, by the people, for the people,” the Democratic Republic of the United States of America?
Simply, because it flew in the face of every political system that previously existed––monarchies, dictatorships, oligarchies, aristocracies, totalitarianism, communism, socialism––systems in which the immense power and abuse-of-power that these regimes exercised would be vanquished if replaced by the Power of the People that the Founding Fathers of America envisioned.
The mission of those other regimes was never ever about concern for their populaces; rather it was––and is today––purely about the acquisition and maintenance of power and control and especially the immense wealth that comes with both power and control. Always, always, always follow the money!
HOW CAN WE DESTROY AMERICA?
The enemies of America thought long and hard about how to destroy this fledgling experiment. It was clear to them that America’s strength was a function of three phenomena:
- A fervent belief in the God who makes miracles happen, for just one example the crushing defeat of the thunderously powerful English Empire’s armies by blazing patriots like General George Washington and his ragtag army of American heroes.
- An equally ardent belief in and passion for the concept of Freedom. Men who knew they were going to die, and their wives who believed their deaths were for the noble cause of freedom, all sacrificed to bring about our victory over the monarchy that wanted to continue to rule us.
- The most passionate was the embrace, belief, and allegiance to family, its sanctity, its strength, its ability to weather all storms and overcome all obstacles.
If we destroy all three, our enemies reasoned, the masses they considered essentially stupid would be forced to rely exclusively on Big Government. And so, to this day, the socialists-cum-communists among us are employing––as their predecessors did–– every malevolent, criminal, and vicious tactic they can muster to actualize that goal.
