In the last 20 years, the Left has boasted that it has gained control of most of America institutions of power and influence—the corporate boardroom, media, Silicon Valley, Wall Street, the administrative state, academia, foundations, social media, entertainment, professional sports, and Hollywood.
With such support, between 2009-17, Barack Obama was empowered to transform the Democratic Party from its middle-class roots and class concerns into the party of the bicoastal rich and subsidized poor—obsessions with big money, race, a new intolerant green religion, and dividing the country into a binary of oppressors and oppressed.
The Obamas entered the presidency spouting the usual leftwing boilerplate (“spread the wealth,” “just downright mean country,” “get in their face,” “first time I’ve been proud of my country”) as upper-middle-class, former community activists, hurt that their genius and talents had not yet been sufficiently monetized.

5 Students Brutally Murdered By Mexican Cartel After Being Lured By Job Offer

Five students whose ages ranged from 19 to 22 were lured to meet with a Mexican drug cartel with a fake job offer. The young men were then kidnapped and brutally murdered by the cartel on video.
According to El Universal, the five young men, who were all childhood friends, were lured into a meeting with the Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) Cartel with a fake job offer. The cartel lured them to the meeting with the intent of recruiting them to their ranks.
The cartel reportedly killed them after the young men refused.
Reports suggest that the five students had contacted a call center in order to gain employment. However, the center was run by the CJNG cartel with the purpose of luring people and forcibly recruiting members to their ranks. The men had reportedly met with a contact in a town after attending a festival in the city of Lagos de Moreno, an area known for cartel violence. They were not seen again until a video of their murders aired.
The graphic video, which had been broadcast on Mexican national television, showed the young men in an abandoned building, duct-taped, beaten, stabbed and beheaded. The video also showed one of the young men being forced to beat, stab and behead one of his friends.

It seems to me that they should be using replacement costs when estimating the value of the weapons we are sending to Ukraine. I’m definitely not an accounting genius, but aren’t we, the taxpayers, going to have to pay the replacement cost when ordering new military weapons to replace what we sent to Ukraine? I can just see the Chinese leaders gleefully watching us deplete our stockpiles while they are sitting on a very large supply of military weapons and equipment as they contemplate their takeover of Taiwan. Let’s not forget all the military weapons and equipment that Biden left in Afghanistan for the Taliban to use and to sell – Good Grief !!! Nancy
Pentagon ‘Accounting Error’ Allegedly Overestimated Value Of Weapons Sent To Ukraine

The Pentagon announced Tuesday that an accounting error made last month revealed that it overestimated the value of weapons sent to Ukraine by $6.2 billion, more than double the purported true estimate.
Pentagon Spokeswoman Sabrina Singh claimed that military services had counted replacement costs rather than the book value of equipment that was pulled from Pentagon stocks to be sent to Ukraine. According to Singh, there was an error of $3.6 billion in the current fiscal year and $2.6 billion in the 2022 fiscal year.
“In a significant number of cases, services used replacement costs rather than net book value, thereby overestimating the value of the equipment drawn down from US stocks and provided to Ukraine,” Singh said.
The department has also now stated that it has additional money to use to further support Ukraine, which is likely to help Congress pass an additional assistance package before the end of the fiscal year in September.
