Why Won’t Left-Wing Sanctuary Cities Welcome The Diversity Of Asylum Seekers?

June 20, 20193:33 PM ET

What if someone you hated offered to pay off your mortgage or put your kids through college? You’d be suspicious at first, of course. Why is an enemy giving you the gift of a lifetime? But in the end, if you were smart, you’d take it. It would be too good to pass up.

Something very much like that happened in Washington, D.C., recently. The Trump administration debated moving some of the thousands of migrants now massing through our southern border into various self-proclaimed sanctuary cities across the United States.

Talk about great news for blue America. The left tells us that all immigration is good. More immigration is better. There is no distinction between legal and illegal varieties of immigration. If you disagree with any of this, you’re a white nationalist. That’s what they’ve said almost every day for the last two years.

And now, completely out of the blue, comes the man they despise most in the world, Donald J. Trump, offering them what they want more than anything: more immigrants, immediately, delivered right to their door at federal expense. It must have been like Christmas morning. (RELATED: Border Patrol Union President Says It’s ‘Absolutely Legal’ To Drop Illegals In Sanctuary Cities)

But that’s not how they responded. The left wasn’t happy about Trump’s offer. They were shocked and enraged. You know what this is, they said? It’s dumping. The headline on Mother Jones read, “Donald Trump Wanted to Dump Asylum Seekers on Streets of Democratic Cities.” In the view of The Daily Beast’s Harry Siegel, “The White House wanted to dump refugees in sanctuary cities.” He called that idea “nasty.” At the same time, almost simultaneously, both CNN and MSNBC ran headlines accusing the White House of wanting to “dump” migrants into cities.

What’s the message here? Immigrants are trash? If you wanted to defile someone’s pristine city, you’d “dump” immigrants on it? Hmm. That sounds a little … searching for the word here … racist  a lot racist, actually. But Nancy Pelosi agrees with it. She immediately issued a statement: “The extent of this administration’s cynicism and cruelty cannot be overstated. Using human beings  including little children  as pawns in their warped game to perpetuate fear and demonize immigrants is despicable.”

VIDEO – ANDREW BREITBART – THE POLITICS OF HOLLYWOOD

Wednesday, April 24th, 2019

Are you tired of hearing about the endless talk of President Trump and the Mueller Report ?  This video interview  of Andrew Breitbart from 2009 gives an inside look into the thinking of the man who pushed back fiercely against liberalism.  Nancy

The Politics of Hollywood with Andrew Breitbart

Published on May 27, 2009

Identified as one of the ten most important people in the media that nobodys ever met, Andrew Breitbart details why leftward-leaning Hollywood is dangerous for America and why the people who run it are uninteresting, vitriolic, and vicious. Segueing from Hollywood to the Internet, Breitbart explores why the right dominates talk radio and the left seems to do better on the Internet and how the decline of print media is changing the nature of the national political conversation.

H.R. 1 PROPOSES TO MANDATE A FEDERAL TAKEOVER OF THE ELECTORAL SYSTEM, MAKING RIGGING ELECTIONS EASIER

Saturday, March 2nd, 2019

Heads Up Everyone  !   Nancy
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

How Democrats signal their plans

By David Keene –  • David A. Keene is an editor at large for The Washington Times. The Washington Times – Monday, February 4, 2019
ANALYSIS/OPINION
EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:  Under H.R. 1 Washington would run ballot security and voter registration which would be “automatic” for anyone seventeen or older. States would no longer be authorized to clean up their voter rolls even as evidence pours in that voter fraud is more prevalent than most thought with tens of thousands of ineligible voters actually voting in dozens of states. A new Election Assistance Commission and the Departments of Homeland Security and Justice would duke it out on who does what.

The proposal abolishes all existing state voter identification laws. Americans citizens — and possibly even non-citizens living in the United States — would be automatically registered to vote when they turn 17 years old. If any are somehow missed, another part of the bill would set up registration and voting booths on college and university campuses. Felons would be granted the right to vote and any voter who votes wants to vote somewhere other than his or her home precinct will be allowed to cast a provisional ballot anywhere else.

As every new Congress convenes, the majority party signals its priority with the introduction of House Resolution One. H.R. 1 is the bill the leadership intends to push hard and early to let the public know just what the new Congress wants and is all about.

Past House majorities, Republican and Democrat alike, have used their first bill to emphasize a substantive policy issue like the budget, educational reform, government action to stimulate the economy following the 2008 recession, tax cuts, or measures to counter terrorism.

This year, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Democrats are focused not on such substantive issues, but on jiggering with the way the country has run its elections for 200 years. All politicians relish their ability to exercise the power at their disposal, but this year’s H.R. 1 is all about increasing the Democratic Party’s chances of holding onto power.

The 116th Congress’ H.R. 1 is being heralded as the “For the People Act of 2019,” but if there were truth in labelling requirements for naming bills it would have to be called the “For the Democrats Act of 2019.” It is a 500-plus page jumble of proposals to mandate a federal takeover of our electoral system and rig future elections with an eye toward a one-party nation.

Many of the components of H.R. 1 have been tested and worked for Democrats in California. These “reforms” would force all states to emulate California and turn future elections into the sort of sham contests one sees in some nations south of the U.S. border.

RED STATE/BLUE STATE DIVIDE

Navigating the Great Divide

By Stephen Moore    January 8, 2019
In the months after the election of Donald Trump, there was a mini-political movement in California to get the Golden State to secede from the Union. It didn’t get off the ground, though during a recent trip to Northern California, many of the people I met were still so distraught over the Trump presidency that were he to win re-election, secession would be much more seriously pursued. A majority of Californians don’t want to be governed by Donald Trump, and many liberal leaders and talking heads openly compare him to Adolf Hitler.

What if we arrived at a point where a solid majority of Californians wanted independence (and perhaps states like Washington and Oregon sought to join them)? Should they have the moral and constitutional right to do so? Would the other states ever impose military control over Californians to keep them in the Union?

The standard response is this issue was settled during the Civil War. Really? What the Civil War proved was that the North had more military might than the South. Imagine that it were the South in 1860 that held the political and military advantage to impose its will over the North, and moved to legalize the evil of slavery everywhere. Would the North have been morally wrong to secede?

The issue of secession takes on renewed vigor now given the British exit from the European Union. The EU allowed a fairly orderly process for allowing nations to leave the EU governing structure. The political tide in many places around the world appears to be for self-rule and sovereignty.

In America, the deepening and perhaps irreversible red state-blue state schism deserves immediate attention. We as a nation are more divided on ideological, cultural, economic and geographical lines than at any time since the Civil War. Look at the electoral map from recent elections.

HARVESTING DEMOCRATIC VOTES

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019

This article is about how Democrats win elections in California.  Seems to me, Saul Alinsky, said something about the ends justify the means.  Sounds like that is the Democrats’ way of harvesting votes and winning elections.    Nancy
THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

Harvesting Democratic Votes

Liberals want to impose the California voting model on all 50 states.

The Editorial Board   January 19, 2019
EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:

House Democrats are now moving to impose much of this on the other 49 states. Their For the People Act, or H.R.1, would require all states to adopt automatic voter registration based on names in state and federal agency databases. This means anyone receiving federal food stamps in, say, Ohio, would be automatically registered to vote.

The bill also requires states to allow same-day and online voter registration. It mandates looser rules on provisional ballots, requires every state to provide two weeks of early voting, prohibits restrictions on mail voting, and limits states’ ability to remove voters from rolls. Oh, and it will require that the United States Postal Service deliver ballots for free. Vote harvesting isn’t in H.R.1 but give Democrats time.

All this is an affront to the American tradition of letting states set their own election rules. Few states have automatic registration, on the principle that voting is voluntary. Even liberal Slate magazine, in suggesting that the House bill would “Save American Democracy,” acknowledged that some of the bill might not survive Supreme Court scrutiny.

California has become a one-party state, and Democrats have used their dominance to make it even harder for Republicans to compete. Now they want to use their new House majority to do the same for the rest of America. The Senate can stop them for now, but look out in 2021.

Democrats in Congress are making election reform their top legislative priority, and we’ve criticized it as a majority protection act. To understand why, consider that Democrats are trying to do for the country what they’ve done with election laws in California.

The Golden State is where Republican candidates went to bed on election night in November with leads in most of their competitive House races, only to lose in the ensuing weeks of vote counting. In Orange County, Young Kim was poised to become the first Korean-American woman in Congress, with a sizable lead on Election Day over

her Democratic opponent. She lost by three percentage points. Republican Rep. Mimi Walters’s 6,074-vote lead on Nov. 6 turned into an 11,866-vote loss to Democrat Katie Porter.

JUST HOW MANY MUSLIMS WON POLITICAL OFFICE IN 2018 ? THE NUMBERS MAY SURPRISE YOU !

Monday, January 21st, 2019

AND, they are all Democrats !   Nancy

Just How Many Muslims Won Political Office In 2018? The Numbers May Surprise You!

Many of you are familiar with a couple of congressional seats that were picked up by Muslim women and the first Muslim state attorney general put into office in Minnesota.  What you may not realize is just how many political offices were filled by electing Muslims in 2018.  Even more concerning is the high percentage of Muslims voting and their openness to promote the fact that they want to “change” our culture and society.

First, the information comes from JETPAC, which stands for Justice Education Technology Political Advocacy Center.  According to their Mission Statement:

Jetpac (Justice Education Technology Political Advocacy Center) seeks to build a strong American Muslim political infrastructure and increase our community’s influence and engagement.

We will take our place at the table across all levels of government.

Our philosophy of change is rooted in a community-based approach, grassroots mobilization, civicstraining, and technology application. We have developed our own training curriculum, as well as proprietary social media technology and automation tools, to give our Fellows the skills and resources they need to win elections. (emphasis mine)

One wonders if some of those tools involve voter fraud, especially after what we witnessed in Minnesota.

Let’s break down the Muslim wins from federal to the local level, and then we’ll sort them by states.

RARE EARTH MINERALS – CRITICAL TO OUR COUNTRY

Saturday, December 1st, 2018

Our country needs to be self-sufficient in the mining and production of rare earth minerals that are critical to high-tech applications, including military equipment.   We only have one rare earth mine in this country  and it is crucial to keep this mine in operation.  If ever there was a good reason to subsidize an industry, this is it !  China controls the needed rare earth minerals and could use them as a bargaining chip if tensions continue to escalate between our countries.    It has been said that a country is as strong as its weakest link and rare earth minerals is definitely one of our weak links !   Nancy

PRIZED ‘RARE EARTH’ MINERALS FEEL SCORCH OF TARIFFS

Two Trump-administration policies have put a “rare earth” minerals mine in California between a rock and a hard place.

Six months after a hedge fund controlled by 40-year-old financier James Litinsky became majority owner of the Mountain Pass mine and brought it out of bankruptcy, President Trump announced an executive order that would seem like its golden ticket: The U.S. should stop buying key minerals overseas, and instead promote domestic supplies, as a matter of national security.

Mountain Pass is the only current U.S. source of rare earths—critical to high-tech applications, including military equipment. Mr. Litinsky’s mine stood to benefit from any resulting increase in demand from the new U.S. policy, announced in December 2017.
