BIDEN TRIED TO SEND PALLETS OF CASH TO THE TALABAN

Biden Tried to Send Pallets of Cash to the Taliban as Kabul Fell

Creating a hostage situation is a great pretext for funding Islamic terrorists.

Friday, August 27, 2021   Daniel Greenfield  Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

On August 14, Secretary of State Blinken spoke with Afghanistan’s former president and promised that the Biden administration would provide a bulk shipment of dollars.

The next day Kabul fell.

On that same call, Afghanistan’s former leader had agreed to surrender power to the Taliban.

The Biden administration had effectively agreed to provide a massive infusion of cash to the Taliban. But the final deal fell through, the Afghan government fled, and the Taliban took Kabul.

The bulk shipment of dollars never did arrive.

Biden’s diplomats scrambled to evacuate from Kabul. Ajmal Ahmady, the governor of DAB, Afghanistan’s central bank, already had a ticket and headed to the airport. He managed to get on a military plane.

Since then he’s tweeted that he was warned that the Taliban had come looking for him.

The Taliban were hoping to get their hands on Afghanistan’s money, but much of it is in the United States. The most tangible part of Afghanistan’s assets, $1.3 billion in gold, is sitting in downtown Manhattan, a little bit south of Ground Zero, in the vaults of the Federal Reserve.

If there were any justice, that money would be used to compensate the police officers, firefighters, and workers who died on that day or later on from ailments related to 9/11.

Meanwhile, all the Taliban have to do is fly into JFK, take an Uber to 33 Liberty Street, and ask to be taken down to the basement to see all the bars of gold. And even in Biden’s America and De Blasio’s New York City, they might have trouble walking away with over a billion in gold bars.

Not unless they trade their camos and kameezes for Black Lives Matter t-shirts.

The Scale of Humiliation

August 15, 2021  by Mark Steyn
The Fall of Kabul

To reprise a line from a decade-old column of mine:

Afghanistan is about Afghanistan – if you’re Afghan or Pakistani. But, if you’re Russian or Chinese or Iranian or European, Afghanistan is about America.

That’s the point to remember: if you’re an Afghan schoolgirl, today is the fall of Kabul; elsewhere, in the chancelleries of allies and enemies alike, it’s the fall of America. Even by their usual wretched standards, the world’s most somnolent media are struggling to stay up to speed on the story. Here’s the scoop from USA Today:

Taliban’s Afghanistan Advance Tests Biden’s ‘America Is Back’ Foreign Policy Promise

You don’t say! Did he misread the prompter, or mishear the guy in his ear? “America is on its back”, surely?

But don’t worry, the world’s most lavishly over-funded “intelligence community” is on the case:

Kabul Could Fall To The Taliban Within 90 Days, U.S. Intelligence Warns

Thank you, geniuses. That was Thursday. So it turned out to be well within ninety hours – which is close enough for US intelligence work.

Was this the same “seventeen intelligence agencies” who all agreed Russia had meddled in the 2016 election – and with whose collective intelligence only a fool would disagree?

THE AFGHANISTAN DEBACLE IS EXACTLY WHAT THE LEFT WANTED

The Afghanistan Debacle is Exactly What the Left Wanted

EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:  The left, including its swamp bureaucrats who administer our wars, has no qualms with what happened in Kabul.  They support Biden’s grotesque withdraw not in spite of its consequences for America, but because of them.  They want to see America humbled and weakened on the world stage.  They want our enemies to outmaneuver us.  They want us to lose our global leverage….. The left, including its swamp bureaucrats who administer our wars, has no qualms with what happened in Kabul.  They support Biden’s grotesque withdraw not in spite of its consequences for America, but because of them.  They want to see America humbled and weakened on the world stage.  They want our enemies to outmaneuver us.  They want us to lose our global leverage………. What happened in Kabul was deliberate. In fact, I would argue it went far better than most leftists dreamed it would.  Even they underestimated Joe’s uncanny ability to make the absolute worst decision in practically every situation.  Our kids’ grandkids will be fighting the wars that result from this and will likely do it alone.  Far from being a tragedy, our abandonment of Afghanistan was one of the left’s biggest foreign policy successes.

There’s not much to say that hasn’t already been said regarding Biden’s unconditional surrender to the Taliban, and it’s only the first week.  Bookshelves will be filled with analyses of these events, and we won’t understand their full ramifications for decades.  My two cents, for what they’re worth, are that the left doesn’t consider the fall of Kabul and the betrayal of our allies to be a tragedy.  Rather, this is deliberate foreign policy strategy, and it’s right on track.

The pattern is clear for those who wish to see.  Simply put, the left thinks America is not only evil but irredeemably so.  Hence, any policy, be it foreign or domestic, that weakens our nation-state should be pursued, the goal being that the nation-state will eventually corrode to the point of collapse.  They don’t care that the hollowed-out dystopia will be long past its desirability for subjugation, so long as they get to be in charge.  As Lord Varys said of Littlefinger, “He would see this country burn if he could be king of the ashes”.

May I suggest Madam Speaker that you form a delegation of women to go to Afghanistan to see that the Taliban have their women’s best interests at heart.. Just think what Omar, Talib, AOC,Pressley, Bush and yourself can achieve with your voices at “the table”…. I bet you’ll be able to give em’ all a good what for to put them in their place… Yeah… That’s the ticket.. p.s. Joy (the race lady) Reid likes to equate Christians with the dystopian novel “The Handmaiden’s Tale”… perhaps she can tag along to better understand just what it is that makes the muslim version so successful and the Christian version so wrong ?

BIDEN BRINGS IN ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS TO INVESTIGATE OUR MILITARY FOR ‘EXTREMISM’

Biden Brings in Islamic Activists to Investigate U.S. Military for ‘Extremism’

Posted: 24 May 2021 10:51 PM PDT

A decade ago, Hina Shamsi was fighting on behalf of the Holy Land Foundation whose leaders had been convicted of providing material support to Hamas.

As the head of the ACLU’s National Security Project, Shamsi, a Pakistani citizen, had fought fiercely for the Islamic terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. “We all must pledge — not one person more in Guantanamo, not in our names,” she recently declared.

But now the Pakistani advocate for Islamic terrorists has a new job: going after our soldiers.

Shamsi is one of the terror lawyers who appears on a list of partners for the Biden administration’s crackdown on “extremism” in the military. The only kind of extremism that Shamsi appears to be an expert on is the Islamic kind and her expertise has been in denying it.

Furthermore, at least as of 2017, Shamsi had described herself as a Pakistan citizen with permanent legal residency in America.

She’s not the only apparent Pakistani citizen tasked by Biden to go after our troops.

HISTORY UNFOLDING BEFORE OUR VERY EYES

Thursday, December 17th, 2020

Thanks to Luonne Dumak of Wisconsin for sharing this very sobering  article with us.   We are in unchartered territory as never before have we had such an obviously fraudulent election.  What is especially galling is that our conservative news media exposed  the ” Hunter Biden laptop from hell” information while the liberal media covered it up and called it Russian disinformation and suppressed the truth .  Not until after the election, did the truth come out of Hunter being investigated by the Justice Department for two years  AND Attorney General Barr withheld that information.  Couple that with voting machine manipulation and illegal ballots being counted in the dead of the night and you have a national disaster on your hands.       Nancy

AMERICAN THINKER
THE FRAUDULENT 2020 ELECTION IS HISTORY UNFOLDING BEFORE OUR EYES
by Vince Coyner   December 16, 2020

History is usually written long after historical events play themselves out in real life.  It’s rare to understand the gravity of historical events as they are actually happening.

For example, I was in the Army and stationed in West Germany when the Berlin Wall came down in November of 1989.  It was news where we were, but I don’t think many of us in Rheinberg really understood that the epochal event of our generation was playing itself out only a few hundred miles away.  We look back at it today as the touchstone that it is — the death knell of the Soviet Union.  But at the time, most of us didn’t recognize it as such.

That’s likely because for all of my life, and most of my parents’ lives, the Soviet Union was the grand villain, the ubiquitous enemy, a fount of evil that simply was.  It was the perpetual enemy to be feared above all else, and it was the reason I and hundreds of thousands of others spent weeks, months, or years training to counter attacks coming from Poland or East Germany or the Soviet Union itself.

In an environment where the Soviets being enemies was as natural as gravity, it was hard to see the fall of the Wall changing the world.  But it did.  September 11 was something different altogether.  Most of the country was going about its normal business that morning, another mundane Tuesday.  Then the first plane hit.  It was a stunning event, but for a moment, we thought it was a tragedy of an accident.  The kind of bad thing that sometimes happens.  The moment the second plane hit, everyone in America knew that something was going on.  When those two buildings, those two signs of American strength and prosperity, came down, we knew that the world had changed.

And now we sit here, two decades later, and we are at a point in history no less important than the fall of the Berlin Wall or the attack on the Twin Towers.  When the Soviets or the Islamic terrorists were the enemy, we understood exactly what was at stake: our nation and our culture.  Today, both of those things are in peril, but in a far more pernicious way.

The danger today strikes at the foundation of our Republic.

Osama bin Ladens Niece Supports Trump

Saturday, October 17th, 2020

Noor bin Ladin was a guest on Tucker Carlson’s show tonight (October 16, 2020) .  Nancy
THE SPECTATOR

Being pro-Trump has caused me more grief than being Osama bin Laden’s niece

Why do I support Donald Trump? Look at his record

by Noor bin Ladin  (niece of Osama bin Laden)

Americans are, in my experience, the warmest, most kind-hearted and open-minded people in the world. I have found this to be true for my whole life, despite being the niece of Osama bin Laden and sharing the same last name (albeit spelled slightly differently — bin Ladin is the original translation). Americans base their judgment on the content of someone’s character and actions, not on the color of their skin — or their last name. This was reaffirmed last month, after I voiced my love for America and support for President Trump. The response to ‘My Letter to America’ has been overwhelmingly wonderful, and I am most thankful to all those who took the time to read it and send kind messages, including Spectator readers. But in my private life, I have lost a few so-called friends for backing Donald Trump over the past five years. Coming out publicly was a step too far for some, and the vitriol I received for stating my political beliefs revealed unflattering sides to certain characters. From a sociological standpoint, it is quite interesting that in some elitist circles being pro-Trump has caused me more grief than carrying the name bin Ladin.

Even more striking were the contrasting reactions to President Trump’s COVID diagnosis. Gleeful comments devoid of compassion flooded social media, some even going as far as to wish for his death. Kim Jong-un showed more sympathy than many of the President’s detractors. Yet for all the hate, there was an outpouring of love and well-wishes from his supporters. One take from a favorite Twitter account of mine (@HonorAndDaring) expressed it best: ‘Trump is the first and only President that I’ve actually cared about. That’s because he’s the first President in recent memory that seems to care more about Americans than an abstract ideology or just enriching his donors.’ This sentiment is clearly felt by many Americans, who come out in droves for the President wherever he goes, including Walter Reed Medical Center during his stay: if he can’t hit the road, the rally comes to him.

And why do I support Donald Trump? Look at his record. He has stood up to China, kept America out of new wars, solidified ties with Israel, overturned the disastrous Iran deal and obliterated Isis. Domestically, he removed handicapping regulations to American economic growth, rebuilt a depleted military, brought back manufacturing and revamped dying industries by renegotiating trade deals and cutting taxes; he has achieved energy independence, curbed immigration — all of which contributed to setting record unemployment rates. He has tackled neglected issues such as human trafficking and unjust incarceration — and given America a chance at restoring her principles, pride, independence and true place in the world as beacon of liberty and hope for all.

AFTER 9/11, BIDEN WANTED TO SEND $200 MILLION TO ISLAMIC TERRORISTS

Friday, September 18th, 2020

After 9/11, Biden Wanted to Send $200 Million to Islamic Terrorists

SEP 15, 2020   9:00 AM  BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

No administration since Jimmy Carter’s had done more to enable and appease Islamic terrorists than the Obama-Biden administration. But Joe Biden wasn’t a patsy in a radical administration. As his original response to 9/11 shows, his own position was always favorable to Islamic terrorists.

“This,” Joe Biden announces, “is what I’ve spent my entire adult life preparing for.” It’s exactly three Tuesdays since the September attacks, and Biden is presiding over a morning meeting of his committee staffers…

At the Tuesday-morning meeting with committee staffers, Biden launches into a stream-of-consciousness monologue about what his committee should be doing, before he finally admits the obvious: “I’m groping here.”

Then he hits on an idea: America needs to show the Arab world that we’re not bent on its destruction. “Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran,” Biden declares.

Biden’s response to an attack by Islamic terrorists was a proposal to send $200 million to Islamic terrorists. The Obama-Biden administration topped that be sending billions to Iran. And Biden’s campaign platform calls for going back to those days.

But this is the same Joe Biden who threatened to impeach Bush if he tried to take out Iran’s nukes.

Waging a presidential campaign amid rising tensions with Iran 12 years ago, Joe Biden, then a senator from Delaware, had a warning for President George W. Bush should he decide to take military action without congressional authorization.

“I want it on the record, and I want to make it clear,” Biden said. “If he does, I will move to impeach him.”

And around whom allegations of Iranian funding have lingered.

Kaveh Mohseni, a spokesman for the Student Movement Coordination Committee for Democracy in Iran, calls Biden “a great friend of the mullahs.” He notes that Bidens election campaigns “have been financed by Islamic charities of the Iranian regime based in California and by the Silicon Iran network,” a loosely-knit group of wealthy Iranian-American businessmen and women seeking to end the U.S. trade embargo on Iran. “In exchange, the senator does his best to aid the mullahs,” Mohseni argues. Biden’s ties to pro-Tehran lobbying groups are no secret.

WHAT ISLAMISTS AND ‘WOKEISTS’ HAVE IN COMMON

What Islamists and ‘Wokeists’ Have in Common

Adherents of both pursue ideological purity, refuse to engage in debate and demand submission

by Ayaan Hirsi AliMs. Hirsi Ali is a research fellow at the Hoover Institution and founder of the AHA Foundation. She served as a member of the Dutch Parliament from 2003-2006.

  September 11, 2020

excerpt from this article: Both ideologies aim to tear down the existing system and replace it with utopias that always turn out to be hellish anarchies: Islamic State in Raqqa, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle. Both are collectivist: Group identity trumps the individual. Both tolerate—and often glorify—violence carried out by zealots.

This Sept. 11, then, let’s dismiss the fairy stories about the enemies of a free society. Their grievances aren’t merely economic and they won’t be satisfied with jobs or entitlements. Their motivations are ideological and they will be satisfied only with power.

I cling to the hope that most Americans are still willing as a nation to fight and, if necessary, to die to preserve our freedoms, our rights, our customs, our history. That was the spirit of Flight 93. It was the spirit that ultimately defeated al Qaeda and Islamic State. But it is not the spirit of today’s “woke” protesters. And it is time that we all woke up to that reality.

There were many American heroes on 9/11, but the greatest were the passengers and crew of Flight 93. Not only did they avert what al Qaeda planned—a direct hit on the White House—but they also embodied Patrick Henry’s credo “Give me liberty, or give me death!”

Do those words still have a meaning in the America of 2020? For two decades, I have opposed the fanatical illiberalism of those strands of Islam that gave rise to al Qaeda. I broke with my Somali family and ultimately with their faith because I believed that it is human freedom that should be sacrosanct, not antiquated doctrines that demand submission by the individual.

So implacable are the proponents of Shariah that I have faced repeated death threats. Yet I have always consoled myself that, in the U.S., freedom of conscience and expression rank above any set of religious beliefs. It was partly for this reason that I moved here and became a citizen in 2013.

It never occurred to me that free speech would come under threat in my newly adopted country. Even when I first encountered what has come to be known as “cancel culture”—in 2014 I was invited to receive an honorary degree at Brandeis University and then ungraciously disinvited—I didn’t fret too much. I was inclined to dismiss the alliance of campus leftists and Islamists as a lunatic fringe.

But the power of the illiberal elements in the American left has grown, not just on campus but in the media and many corporations. They have inculcated in a generation of students an ideology that has much more in common with the intolerant doctrines of a religious cult than with the secular political thought I studied at Holland’s Leiden University.
