Democrats wrote to the Ukrainian government in May 2018 urging it to continue investigations into President Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign — collusion later found not to exist.
The demand, which came from U.S. Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Patrick Leahy (D-VT), resurfaced Wednesday in an opinion piece written by conservative Marc Thiessen in the Washington Post.
Ironically, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) declared Tuesday that the mere possibility that President Trump had asked Ukraine to continue an investigation of former Vice President Joe Biden — even without a quid pro quo — was enough to trigger an impeachment inquiry. (Biden boasted in 2018 that he had forced Ukraine to remove its prosecutor by threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid; he did not tell his audience at the Council on Foreign Relations that the prosecutor was looking into a firm on whose board his son, Hunter Biden, was serving.)

It got almost no attention, but in May [2018], CNN reported that Sens. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) wrote a letter to Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, expressing concern at the closing of four investigations they said were critical to the Mueller probe. In the letter, they implied that their support for U.S. assistance to Ukraine was at stake. Describing themselves as “strong advocates for a robust and close relationship with Ukraine,” the Democratic senators declared, “We have supported [the] capacity-building process and are disappointed that some in Kyiv appear to have cast aside these [democratic] principles to avoid the ire of President Trump,” before demanding Lutsenko “reverse course and halt any efforts to impede cooperation with this important investigation.”

In it, Menendez, Durbin, and Leahy demanded that the Ukrainian government answer their questions about the Mueller probe, and issued an implied threat: “This reported refusal to cooperate with the Mueller probe also sends a worrying signal — to the Ukrainian people as well as the international community — about your government’s commitment more broadly to support justice and the rule of law.”

No ‘Walls of Separation’ in Knoxville Office Run by AOC Chief of Staff Chakrabarti

There were no “walls of separation” in the 3,500 square feet of office space in Knoxville, Tennessee that in 2017 and 2018 housed two political action committees (PACs), two private consulting firms, and at least 12 congressional campaigns committees, all controlled or run by Saikat Chakrabarti, who now serves as freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) chief of staff.
A source familiar with the building told Breitbart News that Brand New Campaign LLC, a private company formed in Delaware on February 13, 2017 that was apparently controlled by Chakrabarti, leased the second and third floors of the building located at 714 S. Gay Street in downtown Knoxville from the spring of 2017 until March 2018.
The second floor “is entirely open space, with no walls at all,” while the third floor is “mostly open space with a few enclosed offices,” a source in Knoxville, Tennessee, who is familiar with the space told Breitbart News.
The other entities controlled or run by Chakrabarti at the time that were housed at 714 S. Gay St. during the period of occupancy of Brand New Campaign LLC included:
Brand New Congress, a PAC
Justice Democrats, a PAC
Brand New Congress, LLC, a private consulting firm apparently controlled by Chakrabarti
The Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez campaign, which filed its statement of organizationwith the FEC that listed the building as its offices on May 17, 2017 and listed its email as “admin@brandnewcongress.org,” the email address of Brand New Congress, the PAC.
Some of the congressional campaigns subsequently filed amendments to their statement of organization listing different addresses for their offices.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, however, did not file an amended statement of organization with the FEC changing the address of her campaign headquarters from 714 S. Gay Street, Knoxville, Tennessee to a location in New York until November 20, 2018, two weeks after she won the general election to represent New York’s 14th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, and more than six months after the Brand New Campaign LLC lease of the Knoxville office space ended.
All told, at least 16 different organizations, all controlled or managed by Chakrabarti and, in the case of two of those organizations–her own campaign beginning in May 2017 and Justice Democrats beginning in February 2018, by Rep. Ocasio-Cortez– listed the 714. S. Gay Street location as their headquarters during the 2017 to 2018 time frame of Brand New Campaign LLC’s occupancy of the office space there.
James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas launched its long-awaited investigative series into the “deep state” on Tuesday morning with a video of a State Department employee who boasts about organizing for the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) during work.
Stuart Karaffa, who formerly worked on a data analytics program cut by the Trump administration, told Project Veritas journalists operating a hidden camera that he now filled his 8:30-to-5:00 days with work for the DSA, waiting until quitting time to send his DSA emails.
He said that theoretically he could be caught — “Maybe someday I’ll go to Board of Elections jail” — probably not but joked that it would be impossible to fire a federal employee.
He also identified with the so-called political “resistance” to President Donald Trump: “Resist everything. … Every level. F*ck sh*t up,” he is shown saying.
In a statement at the Project Veritas website, O’Keefe promised more exposés in the coming days:
“We’ve heard a lot about the Deep State; holdovers from the previous administration resisting change or nameless and faceless bureaucrats slowing things down or leaking secrets in an effort to undermine this administration,” he said. “What is truly striking is their boldness, they are not afraid. They are even boastful about a warped reality, where they won’t get caught and can’t get fired even if they did.”

When a former community organizer with little other experience became the Democratic Party nominee for president in 2008, conservatives began inquiring what, exactly, a “community organizer” does.
That led to a surge of interest in Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, a secular Bible among Barack Obama’s cohort of left-wing radicals in Chicago. In the White House, as aide Valerie Jarrettso memorably put it, Obama remained a community organizer, using his old tactics topush his agenda.
Now that they have been relegated to the opposition, Obama and the Democrats are not only using the same old Alinskyite tactics, but amplifying them through the media, who will never forgive President Donald Trump for winning the election. (Far from retiring quietly, Obama has been swift to criticize his successor and encourage left-wing protests against his policies.)
Here are just a few examples of Alinsky’s rules being put into practice in an effort to bring down the Trump administration.
“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” During the 2016 election, the media tried to stop Trump from winning by focusing on his personal flaws, real and imagined. That failed — so they are targeting the people around Trump.

In his final address to America’s armed forces, President Barack Obama reminded troops that once Donald J. Trump becomes president, soldiers have a duty to question his authority and criticize him. Obama also said the Second Amendment and global warming can be blamed for terrorism.
Obama stood before soldiers at MacDill Air Force Base, in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday, December 6, to talk about “the foundation that we will leave for the next administration,”CNSNews.com reported.
Characterizing the military’s mission as a fight against “violent extremism,” Obama insisted that soldiers need to rise up against Trump if they feel he is pushing policies that are ill considered.
Obama told the troops, “each of us has…the universal right to speak your minds and to protest against authority; to live in a society that’s open and free; that can criticize our president without retribution.”
Obama went on to insist that a proper U.S. policy against “violent extremism” is a “long term” policy.

A chapter in Andrew Breitbart’s last book, “Righteous Indignation” concerns The Frankfurt School (a group of Marxist scholars who fled Germany in the 1930’s and came to America and started to infiltrate our universities to spread their Marxist ideology. .
EXCERPT FROM THE ARTICLE: In a nutshell, the theory posits that a tiny group of Jewish philosophers who fled Germany in the 1930s and set up shop at Columbia University in New York City devised an unorthodox form of “Marxism” that took aim at American society’s culture, rather than its economic system.
The theory holds that these self-interested Jews — the so-called “Frankfurt School” of philosophers — planned to try to convince mainstream Americans that white ethnic pride is bad, that sexual liberation is good, and that supposedly traditional American values — Christianity, “family values,” and so on — are reactionary and bigoted. With their core values thus subverted, the theory goes, Americans would be quick to sign on to the ideas of the far left.
Marcuse was the philosophical hero of the New Left in the 1960s; at marches in Paris, they carried banners that read “Marx, Mao and Marcuse.” As Andrew Breitbart described Herbert Marcuse in Righteous Indignation:
Marcuse’s mission was to dismantle American society by using diversity and “multiculturalism” as crowbars with which to pry the structure apart, piece by piece. He wanted to set blacks in opposition to whites, set all “victim groups” in opposition to the society at large. Marcuse’s theory of victim groups as the new proletariat, combined with Horkheimer’s critical theory, found an outlet in academia, where it became the basis for the post-structural movement–Gender Studies, LGBT/”Queer” Studies, African-American Studies, Chicano Studies, etc. All of these “Blank Studies” brazenly describe their mission as tearing down traditional Judeo-Christian values and the accepted traditions of Western culture, and placing in their stead a moral relativism that equates all cultures and all philosophies–except for Western civilization, culture, and philosophy, which are “exploitative” and “bad.”
Author Patrick K. O’Donnell joined Breitbart News Saturday as a guest on the program’s Memorial Day weekend special.
O’Donnell is a combat historian and has written 10 books on American history beginning with the American revolution and ending with modern war and the Battle of Fallujah. O’Donnell explained that he volunteered to go to Iraq as an embed, even though he didn’t have any book deals on the table when he departed to the war torn country.
During the Iraq war, O’Donnell was embedded with military units as the only civilian combat historian and spent three months in Iraq documenting the experiences of troops in battle. O’Donnell went door-to-door with other Marines and was witness to intense urban warfare.
On his second tour in Iraq, O’Donnell served as a war correspondent for Men’s Journaland Fox News, reporting on the conflict in Iraq from the perspective of the Marines on the ground.
“It is still a very painful topic for me, still to this day,” he told the co-hosts of BNS,Breitbart News executive chairman Stephen K Bannon and editor-in-chief Alexander Marlow. Just talking about his experience of being with the soldiers in Fallujah elicited a deep emotional response inside of the acclaimed jounalist.
“I was ambushed by Chechens on one occasion. I pulled out a marine who was mortally wounded, who was shot in the head from a firefight that we were in,” he recounted.
For the past 10 years, O’Donnell stayed in touch with all the veterans and explained that the “pain that many of them have gone through has been tremendous.”
After the war there were two suicides in the platoon in which he was embedded, and many of the men have been racked with PTSD. (more…)
