The race for North Carolina’s 4th District U.S. Congressional seat is now officially underway. The 4th District Congressional seat has been held by the same liberal Democrat for 23 of the past 25 years. The time has come for fresh ideas and a new direction in the 4th District.
The U.S. Congress has shown it won’t change on its own. Congress has to be changed by putting fresh-minded Americans like
Frank Roche in place to put a stop to the out of control federal spending, high taxation, and the intrusion of the federal government into our private life; to once and for all secure our borders, ensure our national security against foreign threats, to block a complete government takeover of our health care system, and to promote job growth and free enterprise.
· I understand managed capitalism and free enterprise are the bedrock of the greatest socio-economic system ever created, and are the key to continued American success and strength.
· I believe strongly in a federal government working within the limits of the U.S. Constitution, assuring states rights.
· I know the importance of a strong family teaching personal responsibility, the importance of a good education, hard work, and treating our fellow Americans with courtesy and respect.
· I know the first line of defense against life in a complex society is not the federal government, but rather our family and ourselves.
We must put these values to work in the House of Representatives in 2011.
As a resident of the 4th Congressional District, it is increasingly clear to me that the policies advocated by Speak of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) are not those that my fellow citizens in the district wish to pursue. Our current Representative, 23 years in office, votes with Pelosi’s liberal agenda over 98 percent of the time. We can no longer afford this blind adherence to a failed agenda. The days of the career politician must end. They have proven themselves to be part of the problem rather than the solution.

th District will require a large amount of money to define who I am, and make
