Obama did not want anything to destroy his attempt to seal a nuclear agreement with Iran. The failed Iranian nuclear “deal” was Obama’s top priority as that was going to be his legacy. Obama’s “legacy” is rapidly turning to dust. Nancy

Obama stopped Israel from killing Soleimani in 2015, threatened to shoot down IAF strike on Iran
JAN 5, 2020 1:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER
Just whose side was this man on? Yes, of course, he was just trying to avoid a costly war with Iran. That’s why he gave the mullahs billions that they used to finance jihad terrorist groups.
“Report: Obama Administration Stopped Israel From Assassinating Soleimani in 2015,” by Tyler O’Neil, PJ Media, January 3, 2020:
When President Donald Trump gave the order to kill Iran’s Quds Force leader Qasem Soleimani, he not only made an arguably proportionate response to the invasion of the U.S. Embassy this week but he also reversed a policy of the Obama administration. According to a report from 2018, Israel was “on the verge” of assassinating Soleimani in 2015, but Obama’s officials foiled the plan. In fact, they reached out to Iran with news of Israel’s plans.
The Trump administration, on the other hand, gave Israel a green light to assassinate Soleimani, according to a January 1, 2018 report from the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida. The paper quoted a source in Jerusalem as saying that “there is an American-Israeli agreement” that Soleimani is a “threat to the two countries’ interests in the region.” According to Haaretz, Al-Jarida is generally assumed to be a platform for the Israeli government to disseminate its message to other Middle Eastern governments.
According to the report, the agreement between Israel and the U.S. came three years after Washington thwarted an Israeli attempt to kill the Iranian general.
“The report says Israel was ‘on the verge’ of assassinating Soleimani three years ago, near Damascus, but the United States warned the Iranian leadership of the plan, revealing that Israel was closely tracking the Iranian general,” Haaretz reported.
The incident “sparked a sharp disagreement between the Israeli and American security and intelligence apparatuses regarding the issue.” That sounds like an understatement.
President Barack Obama frequently snubbed Israel, considered by many to be America’s best ally in the Middle East. Yet the news that the Obama’s administration prevented Israel from assassinating the Quds Force leader seems particularly significant, since the Obama administration also kept a list of approximately 500 American soldierswho were murdered by Iranian IEDs. Since the Quds Force spearheads Iran’s operations outside the Islamic Republic, Soleimani would arguably be responsible for all of those deaths.

This is an incredible article written by Alan Dershowitz of the attempts by the Left to silence and smear him because he has been supportive of President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the state of Israel. Nancy
J’accuse — The New Yorker Is Trying to Silence Me
by Alan M. Dershowitz
July 18, 2019 at 4:00 am
I recently learned, from a source close to The New Yorker magazine, that its editor, David Remnick, has commissioned a hit piece against me for the explicit purpose of silencing my defense of President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and the State of Israel. Remnick despises Trump and Netanyahu, and is well known for his strong anti-Israel bias. Remnick explicitly told people that I must be silenced because mine has been the most persuasive voice in favor of what Remnick feels pose dangers to values he holds dear, and that he will use the credibility of The New Yorker to accomplish this goal.
The New Yorker used to be a great literary magazine. I read it for its short stories, profiles of literary figures, film and drama reviews, humorous vignettes, and clever cartoons. But since David Remnick took over as editor, left wing politics have trumped non-partisan literature. Profiles have become personal attacks on Remnick’s political enemies and hagiographies of his political friends.
Among Remnick’s most persistent enemies are Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump. Ad hominem attacks on the Israeli Prime Minister include mocking his name (“Netanyahoo”) and calling him a “mendacious mouse.” Remnick consistently singles out Israel for condemnation, while ignoring real violations of human rights.
An op-ed in the Jerusalem Post observed that “under Remnick’s reign, The New Yorker, and particularly Remnick himself, repeatedly and obsessively focuses on what Remnick perceives to be the failings of the state of Israel,” accusing it of “medievalism,” “apartheid” and “xenophobia.” Its one-sided views have been “posted prominently on the website of “Intifada – The Voice of Palestine.”
The Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America has characterized Remnick’s writings as “almost frantic agitation” against the Netanyahu government. Israel and/or its leaders are scorned for being “bigoted,” “arrogant” and “stubborn,” and for displaying “ineptitude” and a penchant for “fantasy.” The Palestinian leaders, on the other hand, are “moderate and constructive.” Remnick’s attacks on President Trump are even more ad hominem, calling him “unhinged,” “chaotic,” “corrupt,” “infantile” and comparing him to Nero.
The New Yorker’s reputation for objectivity, fairness and scrupulous fact checking has been replaced by a growing awareness that nothing it publishes should be taken as true without rigorous independent checking, especially when it comes to Israel, Netanyahu, and Trump. The same is true when it comes to public figures Remnick believes are supporters of his sworn enemies. I know, because Remnick has arranged for a like-minded attack journalist named Connie Bruck to target me in a mendacious hit piece designed to still my voice on Israel, Netanyahu, and Trump.

Can hardly wait for a move to be made of his very successful top secret operation by Mossad. Nancy
Revealed: New details about Mossad’s ‘greatest operation’, exposing Iran’s secret nuclear program
May 2, 2018
“From an operational aspect, this is amazing, and all credit goes to the Mossad people. This is one of the greatest intelligence operations in the State of Israel’s history,” Israel’s Intelligence Minister said.
By: World Israel News Staff
New details have emerged about the Mossad’s daring mission in Tehran through it successfully captured half a ton of documents on Iran’s secret and illicit nuclear program.
A New York Times report on Monday quoted a “senior Israeli official” who said that Israel’s Mossad intelligence service discovered the warehouse located in the Shorabad suburb in southern Tehran in February 2016, and had the building under surveillance since then.
“From the outside, this was an innocent looking compound. It looks like a dilapidated warehouse. But from the inside, it contained Iran’s secret atomic archives locked in massive files,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday when he exposed Project Amad, Iran’s secret project to build a nuclear bomb.
“Few Iranians knew where it was, very few, and also a few Israelis,” Netanyahu added.
Mossad operatives broke into the building one night last January, removed the original documents and smuggled them back to Israel the same night, the Times said.
Israel’s Hadashot news reported that the files were removed from the Islamic Republic during a hot pursuit with Iranian security forces “on their tails.”

Why Did Flynn Lie and Why Did Mueller Charge Him with Lying?

The charge to which retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has pleaded guilty may tell us a great deal about the Robert Mueller investigation.
The first question is, why did Flynn lie? People who lie to the FBI generally do so because, if they told the truth, they would be admitting to a crime. But the two conversations that Flynn falsely denied having were not criminal. He may have believed they were criminal but, if he did, he was wrong.

Consider his request to Sergey Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the U.S., to delay or oppose a United Nations Security Council vote on an anti-Israel resolution that the outgoing Obama administration refused to veto. Not only was that request not criminal, it was the right thing to do. President Obama’s unilateral decision to change decades-long American policy by not vetoing a perniciously one-sided anti-Israel resolution was opposed by Congress and by most Americans. It was not good for America, for Israel or for peace. It was done out of Obama’s personal pique against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rather than on principle.

A former Department of Justice prosecuting attorney who now works as an independent government watchdog has said that he believes then-Secretary of State Clinton — was responsible for leaking classified intelligence regarding the military plans of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Jewish State’s intelligence and military officials with the goal of destroying Iran’s facilities used to create a nuclear bomb.
According to documents obtained by the non-profit group Freedom Watch, which is headed by Larry Klayman, who once served in the U.S. Justice Department, Secretary Clinton and her closest staff members were the likely sources of the leaks to New York Times reporter David Sanger. Klayman also said Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) documents revealed that the Clinton leaks to the media were perpetrated with the knowledge of the Obama White House’s national security team, including Susan “Benghazi” Rice and Iranian-born Valerie Jarrett.
In a special report for the print and broadcast news industry watchdog group Accuracy in Media, Conservative Base editor Jim Kouri reported that Hillary Clinton while the Secretary of State leaked classified information to the Iranian government. While many law enforcement and intelligence officers expected at the very least a probe of her behavior, Hillary Clinton never faced even the hint of an investigation and the denizens of America’s newsrooms ignored the allegations.
Meanwhile today, President Donald Trump is being investigated for an evidence-lacking accusation that he colluded with Russian boogeyman Vladimir Putin to derail Clinton’s presidential aspirations.
Below is the Accuracy in Media report released on Oct. 5, 2015:
One of President Trump’s biggest supporters and prayer warriors is the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Alveda King.

On Tuesday, Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice admitted that she used the intelligence community to spy on members of the Trump team, but this type of behavior isn’t anything new.
In fact, it appears the Obama White House had been spying on its political opponents and leaking classified information about them long before Donald Trump won the presidential election last November, Lee Smith of Tablet Magazine writes.
Remember the Iran Deal negotiations? In December 2015,The Wall Street Journal revealed that the Obama administration used the NSA to cast a wide net of surveillance around not just Israeli officials and diplomats, but American lawmakers who were friendly towards Israel as well as Jewish-American groups.
White House officials believed the intercepted information could be valuable to counter Mr. Netanyahu’s campaign. They also recognized that asking for it was politically risky. So, wary of a paper trail stemming from a request, the White House let the NSA decide what to share and what to withhold, officials said. ‘We didn’t say, ‘Do it,’ a senior U.S. official said. ‘We didn’t say, ‘Don’t do it.’
Stepped-up NSA eavesdropping revealed to the White House how Mr. Netanyahu and his advisers had leaked details of the U.S.-Iran negotiations—learned through Israeli spying operations—to undermine the talks; coordinated talking points with Jewish-American groups against the deal; and asked undecided lawmakers what it would take to win their votes, according to current and former officials familiar with the intercepts.
In other words, the Obama White House used Israel as an excuse to collect classified information on its political opponents via the NSA and then leak bits of this information to the news media in an effort to intimidate them. Smith writes.

Obama’s Parting Betrayal of Israel
Trump must ensure there are consequences for supporting U.N. Security Council Resolution 2334.
by John Bolton

EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:
First, there must be consequences for the adoption of Resolution 2334. The Trump administration should move to repeal the resolution, giving the 14 countries that supported it a chance to correct their error. Nations that affirm their votes should have their relations with Washington adjusted accordingly. In some cases this might involve vigorous diplomatic protests. But the main perpetrators in particular should face more tangible consequences.
As for the United Nations itself, if this mistake is not fixed the U.S. should withhold at least its assessed contributions to the U.N.—which amount to about $3 billion annually or 22%-25% of its total regular and peacekeeping budgets. Meanwhile, Washington should continue funding specialized agencies such as the World Health Organization and the International Atomic Energy Agency, if only to dissuade them from entering the Resolution 2334 swamp.
Last Friday, on the eve of Hanukkah and Christmas, Barack Obama stabbed Israel in the front. The departing president refused to veto United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334—a measure ostensibly about Israeli settlement policy, but clearly intended to tip the peace process toward the Palestinians. Its adoption wasn’t pretty. But, sadly, it was predictable.

Obama’s Fitting Finish
In the list of low points in U.S. foreign policy, the betrayal of Israel ranks high.
by Bret Stephens December 27, 2016
Barack Obama’s decision to abstain from, and therefore allow, last week’s vote to censure Israel at the U.N. Security Council is a fitting capstone for what’s left of his foreign policy. Strategic half-measures, underhanded tactics and moralizing gestures have been the president’s style from the beginning. Israelis aren’t the only people to feel betrayed by the results.
Also betrayed: Iranians, whose 2009 Green Revolution in heroic protest of a stolen election Mr. Obama conspicuously failed to endorse for fear of offending the ruling theocracy.
Iraqis, who were assured of a diplomatic surge to consolidate the gains of the military surge, but who ceased to be of any interest to Mr. Obama the moment U.S. troops were withdrawn, and only concerned him again when ISIS neared the gates of Baghdad.
Syrians, whose initially peaceful uprising against anti-American dictator Bashar Assad Mr. Obama refused to embrace, and whose initially moderate-led uprising Mr. Obama failed to support, and whose sarin- and chlorine-gassed children Mr. Obama refused to rescue, his own red lines notwithstanding.
Ukrainians, who gave up their nuclear weapons in 1994 with formal U.S. assurances that their “existing borders” would be guaranteed, only to see Mr. Obama refuse to supply them with defensive weapons when Vladimir Putin invaded their territory 20 years later.
Pro-American Arab leaders, who expected better than to be given ultimatums from Washington to step down, and who didn’t anticipate the administration’s tilt toward the Muslim Brotherhood as a legitimate political opposition, and toward Tehran as a responsible negotiating partner.
Most betrayed: Americans.

Netanyahu Tells UN: You Began as a ‘Moral Force’ and Have Become a ‘Moral Farce’
The United Nations “began as a moral force and has become a moral farce,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quipped on Thursday in his annual address to the UN General Assembly in New York City.
Nevertheless, Netanyahu predicted, “Israel has a bright future at the UN.”
“Back home, your governments are rapidly changing their attitudes toward Israel,” the prime minister said. “Everything will change, and a lot sooner than you think.”
In a potential sign that Israel’s ties with the Sunni Arab axis in the Middle East are indeed getting stronger,…
More and more countries — including in Asia, Africa and Latin America — are seeing Israel as a potential partner in “fighting the terrorism of today and developing the technology of tomorrow.”
But the biggest shift, Netanyahu stated, was taking place in the Arab world, where many nations were coming to realize that Israel is an ally, not an enemy.
“Our common enemies are Iran and ISIS,” he said. “Our common goals are security, prosperity and peace.”
