VIDEO – PRAGER U IS DENMARK A SOCIALIST COUNTRY ?
Socialism has failed across the world – from the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe to China, Vietnam, North Korea and, most recently, Venezuela. So now the left references countries like Denmark as “proof” that socialism works. Otto Brons-Petersen explains why they’re wrong: Denmark is just as capitalist as the United States.

Ever wonder why the Far Left Marxists continually attack religion, marriage and traditional values ? These traditional values and institutions are the glue that keeps communities healthy and prosperous. Marxists do not want healthy and happy communities. They want desperate and unhappy people who will be drawn to their siren call of equality for all. This is an interesting article that draws a comparison between the prosperous Grand Rapids area of Michigan and the struggling Detroit and Flint, Michigan areas. Nancy
THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER
A tale of two Michigans
| Timothy P. Carney is the commentary editor for the Washington Examier April 03, 2019
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids and Detroit are at opposite ends of Michigan. While both cities and their broader environs have been tossed by the rises and falls of the automotive industry, the two ends of the state have generally moved in opposite directions. In the west, Grand Rapids and nearby Holland have thrived. In the east, Detroit and Flint have struggled. At the same time, the rural counties in central Michigan have collapsed, economically and socially.
Why the divergent paths?
If you’ve been to Rust Belt towns — maybe you covered Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign — you’ll be shocked as you drive around Holland and Grand Rapids. The downtowns are bustling. On the outskirts, you’ll find a small manufacturer around every turn. Grand Rapids’ unemployment has been below 4 percent for most of the past year, and it has been below 5 percent for most of the past 5 years. Holland hasn’t seen unemployment above 5 percent since mid-2014.
It’s not that they haven’t had their downturns. Western Michigan has a long reputation as a supplier for the automakers near Detroit. When GM bleeds, the pain is felt at both ends of I-96. But some places bounce back from economic body blows better than other places.
Imagine you’re a business owner in 1983 or 2009. You want to set up a business, and Michigan appeals to you for one reason or another. Statewide unemployment is around 15 percent. Economics would tell you that’s a good thing from the employer’s perspective: A greater supply of available labor means lower wages.
Obviously, employers have chosen Western Michigan over, say, Detroit or Mecosta County. Why?

Facebook to Banks: Give Us Your Data, We’ll Give You Our Users
Facebook has asked large U.S. banks to share detailed financial information about customers as it seeks to boost user engagement
August 6, 2018
The social media giant has asked large U.S. banks to share detailed financial information about their customers, including card transactions and checking account balances, as part of an effort to offer new services to users.
Facebook increasingly wants to be a platform where people buy and sell goods and services, besides connecting with friends. The company over the past year asked JPMorgan Chase JPM -0.31% & Co., Wells Fargo & Co., Citigroup Inc. C -0.14% and U.S. Bancorp USB +0.08% to discuss potential offerings it could host for bank customers on Facebook Messenger, said people familiar with the matter.
Facebook has talked about a feature that would show its users their checking-account balances, the people said. It has also pitched fraud alerts, some of the people said.
Data privacy is a sticking point in the banks’ conversations with Facebook, according to people familiar with the matter. The talks are taking place as Facebook faces several investigations over its ties to political analytics firm Cambridge Analytica, which accessed data on as many 87 million Facebook users without their consent.
One large U.S. bank pulled away from talks due to privacy concerns, some of the people said.
Facebook has told banks that the additional customer information could be used to offer services that might entice users to spend more time on Messenger, a person familiar with the discussions said. The company is trying to deepen user engagement: Investors shaved more than $120 billion from its market value in one day last month after it said its growth is starting to slow.
Facebook said it wouldn’t use the bank data for ad-targeting purposes or share it with third parties.

SUSTAINABLE: THE WAR AGAINST FREE ENTERPRISE, PRIVATE PROPERTY AND INDIVIDUALITY
AGENDA 21/AGENDA 2030 THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE
October 4, 2017
EDITOR’S NOTE:
Many times in the past year, when I have continued to use the term Agenda 21, people will rush in to correct me – “It’s Agenda 2030 now!” Well, yes and no. This is what the UN does – it changes names and titles like a judo move – but the plan is the same. Remember, that’s just what ICLEI did a few years ago when they changed their name. They were originally named the International Council for Local Environmental Initiative. But when we started to reveal that they were part of a global movement to change our way of life by inserting themselves into local policy making, they quickly moved to drop the “international” from their name. Now they are simply known as “ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability.” That’s how these cock roaches seek to hide when a bright light is shown on them. The name changes, but the game is the same.
The 2030 Agenda is nothing more than a reboot of Agenda 21. The UN uses such updates of plans to keep their people excited and involved. The 2030 Agenda simply goes in to more detail as to how and what they intend to do. Remember, Agenda 21 was introduced as the “comprehensive blueprint for the reorganization of human society.” The 2030 Agenda gives more detail on how that is to be done, along with providing a more specific date for its full implementation. In reality there’s nothing new here. It’s still Agenda 21!
So, I wanted to reissue an article I wrote in 2015 about Agenda 2030, when it was first announced, to help build understanding of its threat, but to also assure you that Agenda 21 and its goal to restructure the world is still very much alive. As I say in the article, now we should better understand what we are fighting because they are clearly telling us. Please pass this on and help others to understand the threat. It’s very real.

This article is from October 6 – There is so much more to be outraged about now !!! Nancy
NO OUTRAGE FOR THE LAWLESS LEFT
Kelly Riddell is a columnist for The Washington Times.
In the last two weeks, the lawlessness and corruption of the left has largely been ignored by the mainstream media in favor of parroting the latest (real or contrived) scandal of Republican nomineeDonald Trump.
Blockbuster reports — ranging from an inspector general letter detailing how Barack Obama’s White House politically targeted and punished his enemies, to a Government Accountability Office report that found the administration’s been illegally funding Obamacare — never seemed to reach the fever pitch of Mr. Trump’s tax returns or perceived fat-shaming.
While felons were being given the right to vote from their jail cells in California, new details emerged on the sweetheart deal the Department of Justice gave to Hillary Clinton’s staff during its investigation into her email server. Those stories never got broadcast news’ nightly attention.
Below is a list (by no means comprehensive) of the left’s discreditable behavior in the last two weeks alone, that generated little to no national outrage.
California governor signs bill to allow thousands of convicted felons to vote (Sept. 28).
Gov. Jerry Brown, despite widespread opposition from law enforcement, signed a bill into law that will allow convicted felons to vote in California elections while still behind bars.
GAO finds White House illegally funding unpopular and failing Obamacare (Sept. 29).
The government’s non-partisan watchdog ruled the Obama administration’s diversion of billions of dollars from the U.S. Treasury to insurers selling individual policies on its healthcare exchange was in violation of federal law, and specifically against the will of Congress. The agency’s conclusion reaffirmed an earlier ruling by the Congressional Research Service.
Government Services Administration IG finds administration targets political enemies (Sept. 29).

Nancy Schulze was the guest speaker at the Chapel Hill Republican Women’s luncheon on September 16. She spoke on the Secular Left’s very successful attempts over the last 50 years to weaken our nation by destabilizing our families, indoctrinating our youth, weakening our respect for law enforcement (Black Lives Matter), and questioning our Christian foundation. She points out that our young people have a higher opinion of socialism than free enterprise which resulted in the young being attracted to Bernie Sanders, an avowed Democrat Socialist.
Today, almost 60% of our federal budget goes to entitlements and welfare which has weakened and destabilized our families. Nancy points out that 80% of all prisoners come from fatherless families. The unwed birthrate of women 30 and younger is 64%. She claims our country is not at a crossroads, we are falling off a cliff !
As Nancy points out in the video, how often have we heard the left say, “This is not who we are as Americans” when criticizing us as bigots and racists. This is their attempt to redefine who we are as Americans and Nancy’s talk stresses that we need to talk about who we are and what has been the successful foundation of our country dating back to our founders.

The lunacy of the left, Embracing Dictators
It ranges from embracing dictators to the candidates they choose
By Stephen Moore – – Sunday, April 3, 2016
The idea of American exceptionalism has been embedded in our DNA for generations. It is the faith-based belief that, as Ronald Reagan put it, America is a “shining city on a hill.” Do modern liberals believe that?
I almost never try to get into the other side’s head or ascribe ill motives to those on the left. They are, I’ve always believed, misguided, not malign.
But I’m having second thoughts after listening to President Obama’s defense of communism/socialism a little over a week ago when he was in Argentina. He advised young people to get behind “what works” economically — as if there is some deep mystery here. Mr. Obama didn’t misspeak. The modern left in America really has come to believe that communism, socialism, Marxism, totalitarianism, or whatever “ism” you want to call the monopolization of power into the hands of a ruling elite, is superior to free market capitalism.
The president of the United States is supposed to be the global spokesman for free enterprise. But instead of traveling to
Cuba to point out to the world the decades of stagnation, deprivation, and dehumanization at the hands of Castro, and instead of using this moment in history to showcase the triumph of capitalism 90 miles away, as Mr. Reagan did so memorably at Moscow State University, Mr. Obama praises Castro’s health care and education systems.

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
I’M FIGHTING TO RESTORE A FREE SOCIETY
By
Charles G. Koch Mr. Koch is chairman and CEO of Koch Industries
April 3, 2014
I have devoted most of my life to understanding the principles that enable people to improve their lives. It is those principles—the principles of a free society—that have shaped my life, my family, our company and America itself.
Unfortunately, the fundamental concepts of dignity, respect, equality before the law and personal freedom are under attack by the nation’s own government. That’s why, if we want to restore a free society and create greater well-being and opportunity for all Americans, we have no choice but to fight for those principles. I have been doing so for more than 50 years, primarily through educational efforts. It was only in the past decade that I realized the need to also engage in the political process.
A truly free society is based on a vision of respect for people and what they value. In a truly free society, any business that disrespects its customers will fail, and deserves to do so. The same should be true of any government that disrespects its citizens. The central belief and fatal conceit of the current administration is that you are incapable of running your own life, but those in power are capable of running it for you. This is the essence of big government and collectivism.
More than 200 years ago, Thomas Jefferson warned that this could happen. “The natural progress of things,” Jefferson wrote, “is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.” He knew that no government could possibly run citizens’ lives for the better. The more government tries to control, the greater the disaster, as shown by the current health-care debacle. Collectivists (those who stand for government control of the means of production and how people live their lives) promise heaven but deliver hell. For them, the promised end justifies the means.
Instead of encouraging free and open debate, collectivists strive to discredit and intimidate opponents. They engage in character assassination. (I should know, as the almost daily target of their attacks.) This is the approach that Arthur Schopenhauer described in the 19th century, that Saul Alinsky famously advocated in the 20th, and that so many despots have infamously practiced. Such tactics are the antithesis of what is required for a free society—and a telltale sign that the collectivists do not have good answers. (more…)
