Cathy Wright for NC House District 54

Dear Conservative Women,

I am writing to introduce myself and to announce my candidacy for the North Carolina House of Representatives, District 54.   The decision to run for the North Carolina House of Representatives was made easy because I’ve always wanted to be a legislator and consider myself a Servant Leader.  I’m here to serve others and I want to lead the way.  Volunteering and serving my community, wherever I have lived, has always been important to me.  And, my professional work has allowed me the opportunity to help the medical profession provide quality health care for the patients they serve.

It will be an honor to represent the people of the 54th district, in Chatham and parts of Moore and Orange counties, and to serve all the citizens of North Carolina.  As a member of the North Carolina legislature, I will work to re-establish strong conservative leadership.  I support smaller government, less regulation, and less intrusion in our lives.  I support measures that promote free markets, fair competition and more business-friendly policies.  When I am elected as your State Representative, I will focus on key issues, such as lowering the tax burden on our citizens and businesses; controlled spending and streamlining of essential state government services; and improving the delivery of and access to quality health care.  We need to reduce health care costs through tort reform; allowing portable, deductible and flexible private insurance; and, reform policies that have physician-led input.

I will need your support to win this race.  These times are difficult but I want you to know that every donation is a big one and sincerely appreciated.  The Democrats in this state are well funded but your donation can help bring common sense and conservative values and principles back to North Carolina.  Please also tell your friends and family about my candidacy.   I will win this race with a successful grassroots campaign.

Sincerely,

Cathy Wright
