VIDEO- BLACK ROBED REGIMENT – THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR
I was extremely fortunate to watch Pastor Dan Fisher re enact the history of the Black Robed Regiment during the Revolutionary War while I was visiting friends in The Villages, Florida, where there is a very strong conservative community. This re-enactment by Pastor Dan Fisher was mesmerizing as it explains how many of the pastors of the 1700’s led, in many cases, the patriots of their churches who stood up against tyranny from the British. Today, we hear so much about the separation of church and state. Obviously, the church leaders of the 1700’s did not adhere to this philosophy. If they did, the outcome of the Revolutionary War might of been very different ! I hope you enjoy this presentation as much as I did. This is a very fitting way to remember the founding of our country and why we celebrate The Fourth of July and the freedoms that we all enjoy. Nancy
