On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, John Guandolo, one of the top terrorism experts in the United States, was the guest speaker at the ICON Lecture Series in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. John Guandolo provides analysis, factual data, training and education to local, state and national leaders about threats to the United States, particularly from the global Islamic movement.
His background includes: Naval Academy Graduate (1989), Marine Corps, Ranger School graduate, and FBI Special Agent. He created the first Counter-terrorism training program in the U.S. government in 2006 detailing the Muslim Brotherhood threat and was also a Strategic Analyst for the Department of Defense, Instructor at the U.S. Army War College and Joint Forces Staff College.
He is the author of “Raising a Jihadi Generation: Understanding the Muslim Movement in America” (2013) and coauthor of “Shariah: The Threat to America” (2010).
