In 634 AD, Muslim forces conquered Damascus and gained control of Syria, which was then part of the Christian Byzantine Empire. It has happened again. Jihadists are once more in control of the nation, and a new Caliphate has been born.
Last week Syria’s ruler Ahmad al-Sharaa signed a “temporary” constitution that puts the country under Islamist rule for five years during a “transitional” phase. If you actually believe that the boys in Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) al-Sharaa’s party really intend to ever relinquish power, you are dangerously delusional and probably should have someone else manage your personal affairs.

If Sam Faddis, who is a retired CIA operations officer, understands how dangerous that Chinese balloon was, why couldn’t Biden’s intelligence officials explain to clueless Biden that it was imperative that he direct our military to shoot the balloon down before it traveled over America ? Sam writes that those gliders can be disguised to look like anything, a rock perhaps ? They lie dormant until the Chinese activate them. EXCERPT FROMTHIS ARTICLE: Most of the press coverage has focused on the fact that the balloon had a lot of U.S. tech on board. For example, it was communicating with Beijing via Iridium satellite communications. Less attention has been paid to the fact that the balloon was carrying gliders. That means it was carrying devices that could be dropped in flight and then glide down to a safe landing on the ground.
“Sensor Drop. A high-altitude balloon can drop autonomous gliders that travel to land near targets of interest. The gliders can be outfitted with sensors to detect anything from micro vibrations (i.e. passing trucks, tanks) to radiation or chemical particles (affluents) in the air. Targets might include military, nuclear, or chemical production or storage facilities. A balloon could deploy dozens of gliders. With a conservative 10-to-1 glide ratio, a GPS guided glider released at 60,000 feet could travel over 100 miles to its target.”
We don’t know exactly what those gliders carried because they had all been dropped before the balloon came down. The container within the balloon’s payload, which held them, was empty when it was recovered. Presumably, that means those gliders are somewhere on American soil. Of course, that could be anywhere, but I’ll put my money on somewhere near the key facilities located at all those American nuclear facilities the balloon was allowed to circle by China Joe.

All over America supporters of Donald Trump are riding high. Trump is in the White House. A new day has dawned. Common sense has returned. Illegals are being rounded up, and we can all breathe easy again.
Not so fast. We won a battle. This is a long war, and the guys on the other side have no intention of simply packing up and going home.
David A. Lebryk was until yesterday the Fiscal Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. He was a “non-political” civil servant who controlled the computerized payment system the government uses to pay out $6 trillion a year. He was the guy who actually controlled all the money the federal government spent, where it went, and to whom.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, directed Lebryk to give the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) headed by Elon Musk access to the payment system. The intent was to allow individuals with DOGE to see where all this money was going, how it was being accounted for, etc.
Lebryk refused. Let’s be clear. He did not refuse to comply with some instruction Musk or his people came up with on their own. He refused to comply with a direct order from the President of the United States. When it became clear Trump was serious, Lebryk resigned instead.
The office Lebryk ran pays out trillions of dollars a year. DOGE began asking for access to the payment system immediately after Trump was inaugurated. Lebryk, a supposedly non-partisan career employee, simply refused to comply. He didn’t think the President of the United States had any business snooping into how he did his job.
The secure payment system in question is run by something called the Bureau of Fiscal Service. These guys make something like 90% of the payments made by the U.S. Government. And, here’s the kicker. They don’t ever stop payments. They just cut checks.

In 1071, Romanus IV Diogenes was the Emperor of the Christian Byzantine Empire. Despite the fall of Rome centuries before, the eastern portion of the Roman Empire, what we call Byzantium, lived on as a powerful and incredibly wealthy power in the eastern Mediterranean. In August 1071, the Byzantine army met an invading force of Seljuk Turks bent on conquest in the name of Allah and domination of the Middle East.
Diogenes was defeated. He knelt before the Turkish Sultan and kissed the ground. He paid a ransom for his release and agreed to formally become a Turkish vassal. Henceforth the Byzantines would pay an annual tribute of 360,000 gold coins to the Turks.
It was perhaps the greatest humiliation of the West by Islam in history.

Joe Biden began his Presidency by ordering a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. In a matter of weeks, twenty years’ worth of effort was squandered. Our forces fled. Our allies were routed. The Taliban went house to house using our own security files and technology to identify those who had cooperated with us and haul them away to be tortured to death.
Biden and his minions assured us the Taliban were now our allies in fighting terrorism. To date, his administration has paid these jihadists $2 billion even as they harbor Al Qaida, ISIS, and other groups and provide them the platform they need to prepare fresh attacks on the United States and its allies.

Yanjun Xu is a Chinese intelligence officer. He was sent to the United States to target American companies and steal defense secrets. His job was to acquire intelligence that would allow the Chinese to win a war against us and kill our servicemen and women. He set up a network of sources in the United States in pursuit of this objective. Xu was caught, prosecuted, and imprisoned.
Joe Biden just pardoned Xu and ordered him released from custody.
