ISLAMIC INFILTRATION OF AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES

Tuesday, March 20th, 2018

Islamist Infiltration of American Universities

A university lecture hall (Illustrative photo: TORSTEN SILZ/AFP/Getty Images) A university lecture hall (Illustrative photo: TORSTEN SILZ/AFP/Getty Images)Ryan Mauro is the national security analyst and Shillman Fellow for the Clarion Project. This article was written with the assistance of Campus Watch, a project of the Middle East Forum.

In 1988, an FBI source inside the Muslim Brotherhood revealed that the Islamist group’s proxies in America had a six-phase plan to “institute the Islamic Revolution in the United States.” [1]  Among these front groups was The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a think tank committed to the “Islamization of knowledge.”[2] This ideology, as Professor Vali Nasr writes, entails the subordination of scientific inquiry to “the mere implementation of the assorted teachings of the Shariʿa.”[3]

Over the last three decades, IIIT’s part in the Brotherhood’s plan has met remarkable success. The institute has made itself an indispensable resource for Islamic studies scholars: It has provided funding for over 70 active researchers based at institutions across America (see appendix); it has spent millions of dollars on endowing chairs in Islamic studies;[4] and it has publicized the research of hundreds of like-minded academics at its Summer Institute for Scholars.[5]

IIIT’s activities are integral to the Brotherhood’s broader strategy of inciting an international Islamic revolution. As an official IIIT handbook notes:

At a time when we are forced to fight and defend ourselves on political, economic and military fronts … (these efforts) can be accomplished by developing (the Ummah’s, that is, the Muslim community’s) ideological power and the power of the “islamization of knowledge (sic)” to effectively harness its full potential.[6]

In other words, the long-term success of the Islamists’ revolution is dependent not only on success on the battlefield and at the ballot, but also on the cooptation of education in order to foment popular sympathy for the Brotherhood’s objectives.

HEARTS WITHOUT GOD

Saturday, March 3rd, 2018

I agree completely with the comments that Cathy Wright has made regarding this audio video.  Give it 15  minutes of your time  and you will be amazed at the new  information you will hear in Pastor Garrison’s   message.  Please share with your email lists and post the link on facebook.        Thanks to Cathy for sharing with us.  Nancy

Below is a link to a sermon audio about the recent events in Parkland, FL, presented by Pastor Charles Garrison, Calvary Memorial Church in Southern Pines, NC.

I am aware that most are so busy that invitations to listen to a man for 42 minutes will likely result in a convenient reason to skip it.  Listen for 15 minutes and you will discover reasons for continuing to the end. Make time to do this without distraction.

Our nation is facing a crisis. The problem is not guns. It’s hearts without God; homes without parental discipline; schools without prayer; and, courts without justice.

Please feel free to pass this on.

Best,

Cathy

PRAGUE VS NORWAY

Wednesday, February 28th, 2018

This article really hits home for me.   I spent several days in Prague in 1982 on a trip to what was then Czechoslovakia, to find  family roots.  I was so impressed with the beauty of Prague.  Their town center was like stepping back in time to the 1500’s  .  Just wonderful.   I was  living in Norway at the time so this article, written by a Norwegian,  really sends chills as it  describes the very negative changes that have taken place in Norway since I was  living  there in the 1980’s.  So tragic.   Thanks to Dee Sams for sharing this article.  Nancy

GLIMPSING THE “NEW EUROPE” IN PRAGUE

What might have been.

Tuesday, February 20. It’s our first time in Prague, and – except for a couple of visits to Berlin – K.’s first time on territory that was once part of the Warsaw Pact. Today, as we’re wont to do on arrival in a new city, we passed on museums and other cultural attractions, preferring instead to walk and walk and walk – to get a sense of the place and the people and start finding our way around.

After several hours of wandering along the winding streets and across cobbled squares dominated by churches, we came back to our hotel and had a drink at the bar. After two gin and tonics, I saw that K. had tears in his eyes. I looked at him quizzically. He could hardly get the words out.

“I’m so angry at my country’s government!” he finally exploded.

The country in question being Norway.

K. explained. We had just seen a good deal of Prague, and had passed heaven knows how many thousands of people. Not once had we seen a hijab. Let alone a niqab or burka.

“In this whole big city, not one!” he cried. “And yet in that little town where we live – in the middle of nowhere! – you can’t look out of the window for a minute without seeing one.”

For us, the Islamization of Western Europe had been a constant topic of conversation for almost twenty years. We’d voiced anger, frustration, despondency, cynicism. But I’d never seen him get teary-eyed about it.

MERKEL: POLITICAL BLACKMAIL

Friday, February 23rd, 2018

Merkel is insane – Can’t she see how she is tearing Europe apart by her insistence on forcing  foreign cultures on Europeans that are incompatible to their culture?
Americans have a front row seat in watching a leader destroy the European nations that have a shared national history and compatible cultures.      Thanks to Charlie Hendrix of Ohio for sharing this article.  Nancy

Merkel: EU Funds to Be Linked to Accepting Third World Migrants

By Virginia Hale    February 23, 2018
EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:
Alternative for Germany (AfD) co-leader Alexander Gauland described the idea of linking EU funds to taking in migrants from the third world “political blackmail”…….    Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán also hit back at the EU project to force multiculturalism on the whole bloc in his State of the Nation address last weekend, declaring: “Hungary will only express solidarity with Western European leaders who want to rescue their country and its Christian culture.”
 http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/02/23/merkel-eu-funds-third-world-migration/

German leader Angela Merkel has called for European Union funding to be based on nations’ willingness to take in third world migrants.

Speaking ahead of a Brussels summit with other leaders of EU nations, the German Chancellor said fighting for “shared European values” should be at the heart of the bloc’s spending decisions.

“Solidarity cannot be a one-way street,” she insisted in the Bundestag.

“With the distribution of structural funds, we must ensure that the allocation criteria in future reflect the engagement of many regions and municipalities in absorbing and integrating migrants.”

THERE ARE TOO MANY WHITE PEOPLE IN SZEKESFEHERVAR

Tuesday, February 20th, 2018

Be sure to watch the wonderful video of the town that is included in the article.     Nancy
VIDEO
Gates of Vienna

A major Hungarian city submitted a brief video about itself to a European competition, only to be rejected at the entry level because the city was too, well, white. And Christian, too — another point against the city.

CrossWare, who translated the article below, includes this prefatory note:

Székesfehérvár is my hometown, a thousand-year-old city, where the original Royal Court resided. Dozens of kings and queens are buried beneath the city’s cathedral, but it is also a modern town. Many high-tech companies set up shop here; the area is sometimes described as the “Hungarian Silicon Valley”.

Back during the Christmas season Gates of Vienna posted a couple of pictures showing the Fair without any Merkel Legos or machine guns…

This was the video submitted for the competition: “Székesfehérvár Full of Life”

The translated article from 888.hu:

EU Jury: In Székesfehérvár there are too many whites and too few migrants

An EU jury decided to recommend the entries by Győr, Debrecen and Veszprém for the finals of the European Capital of Culture (EKF 2023) project. Among the seven submissions to date, the EU’s “unrelated international experts” rejected the submission of Székesfehérvár’s debut film: “There are too many happy white people and crosses, and not enough migrants”.

GUANTANAMO BAY – JUSTICE DELAYED

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018

These terrorists  are captured enemy combatants and should be dressed in orange jump suits, not the flamboyant Muslim head dresses and costumes that they wear to make a mockery of their trial.  Our justice system at Guantanamo should be just and swift and not the circus that is exposed in this article.  Camp Justice, indeed !!!  Nancy

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

Justice Delayed at Guantanamo Bay

Paralyzed by endless litigation over procedure, the 9/11 war-crimes commission grinds on.

Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, mastermind of 9/11, arrives in court dressed in a headdress, tunic and short white trousers (strict fundamentalist style, purportedly emulating Muhammad). His overgrown beard is dyed orange. He sits smugly, legs dangling, and talks with his attorneys while prosecutors play video footage of the Twin Tower attacks in the ultrasecure courtroom.

Walid bin Attash, who helped select and train hijackers, and Ramzi bin al Shibh, a member of al Qaeda’s Hamburg cell, wear camouflage jackets and headdresses, as if they were still in the Afghan mountains. But the camo is hunting gear from Sears—the Guantanamo Military Commission won’t let them wear anything realistic enough to be confused with the guards’ uniforms.

Ammar al Baluchi, KSM’s nephew and a courier for Osama bin Laden, dresses like a prince in a fictional epic: maroon, fez-like headcap, fancy, dark velvet vest. A richly embroidered prayer rug is slung over the back of his chair.

Mustafa al Hawsawi, a money man, looks like a martyr dressed for the grave, in white linen and a shawl embroidered with Palestinian flags. One way or another, all five are projecting versions of the fantasies common to radical Islamists.

This weeklong December hearing, which I attended as an observer, marked the U.S. government’s first formal presentation of evidence against the five living men most culpable for 9/11. It came during the fifth year of pretrial motions. The trial, now projected to take place in 2019, will no doubt be followed by many appeals. By the time it’s over, justice will have been delayed by decades.

In the courtroom, it wasn’t hard to see why. Start with the rules, which Congress, the Supreme Court and two administrations each had a hand in shaping. The Guantanamo trial procedures are, with a few exceptions, supposed to be as close as possible to those in courts-martial. As a result, every procedural niggle is litigated from the ground up, with no controlling precedents. The rules aim to keep the trial moving by allowing hearsay evidence, and to avoid the controversy over “torture” by excluding evidence obtained via contested interrogation methods. But in the constant litigation over procedure, defense attorneys can fight the former and keep the latter front and center.

And whereas the decisions of other war-crimes tribunals have been final or nearly so, three Washington-based courts—the Court of Military Commission Review, the Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court—will all hear appeals from Gitmo. With a trial this complex, that structure guarantees extensive litigation after the trial and overcaution now.

Intelligence bureaucracy protocols have complicated the administration of justice. After a defense lawyer allegedly mishandled a piece of classified evidence, a JAG major stammered to the court that it would take a year to resolve the matter through the bureaucracy, during which the trial would stop. The flabbergasted judge compelled an agency head to appear in court and speed things up.

The week I visited, a veteran prosecutor made a hash of an important motion. Mr. al Hawsawi’s attorneys argued that under the law of war, there wasn’t enough sustained fighting between the U.S. and al Qaeda to meet the definition of “hostilities,” before or even on 9/11, and therefore the court has no authority to try the defendants. Supporting this premise was a defense expert witness, a professor of international law.

The government hadn’t called its own international-law expert, and when the prosecutor rose to cross-examine this witness, he ran into a buzzsaw of objections, which the judge cuts short after 12 minutes with a mercy lunch break. In the afternoon, the judge had to intervene to ask the key questions: Wasn’t this court designed to try the 9/11 cases?

This was the worst misstep in a week with too many of them. Nonetheless, the government has a strong case. Prosecutors have presented proof that Mr. al Hawsawi moved money for nine of the 17 hijackers and showed video of him congratulating Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan after the attacks. But being right isn’t always enough to win a trial. And for the defense attorneys these trials are the greatest challenges of their careers.

JAG or civilian, most of these lawyers are able, principled death-penalty opponents. But some show signs of troubling moral inversion. One told me with a straight face that, given all her client has suffered, he should be let out with time served. All the civilian female defense attorneys wore Islamic headdresses when their clients were present—not at the request of their clients, nor for religious reasons, but sua sponte, to build trust. Maybe it works—but it also seems to aid the defendants’ efforts at costumed theatrics. Meanwhile, two of KSM’s attorneys have recently converted to Islam and pray with the defendants in the courtroom during breaks in the trial.

Just as justice demands these men be executed if guilty, it also demands they have a chance to answer the charges against them. It is a domestic and foreign-policy imperative that the U.S. be seen to give a fair trial, and lay its evidence before the world. But this process looks like something else altogether—paralysis.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis visited Gitmo around Christmas, and the Trump administration is reportedly reviewing its approach to the trials. If so, good. Few topics are more in need of top-to-bottom re-evaluation.

Mr. Gallagher is a second-year student at New York University Law School. He was observing the trial on behalf of Judicial Watch and the NYU Federalist Society.

FIVE MYTHS ABOUT JIHADI RADICALIZATION

Friday, January 5th, 2018

Five Myths about Jihadi Radicalization

“You cannot reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth,” Winston Churchill famously stated.  The Islamist tiger in the United States is ready to pounce, and until Americans understand this enemy, we cannot even begin to fight back.  Dispelling myths about jihadist radicalization is only the beginning.

Myth #1: Poor, uneducated, downtrodden youths are more likely to become jihadists.

Many school administrators, local politicians, and community members believe that young adults have a greater chance of becoming jihadists if they hail from an underprivileged, deprived neighborhood.  Their solution is to fundraise for after-school programs and free lunches, believing that this will keep the youth “out of trouble.”  This 1960s thinking will not solve the jihadist problem because it is not about money or more programs.  It is about an extreme ideology and belief system.

According to a 2016 World Bank study, most jihadists grew up in a middle-class family and earned at least a college degree.  “There is no link between poverty or educational levels and radicalization.”

According to the Gatestone Institute, “Britain’s MI5 revealed that ‘two-thirds of the British suspects have a middle-class profile and those who want to be suicide bombers are often the most educated.”

PLEASE CLICK ON THE ABOVE LINK TO READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE

Jihadi leaders who used their fortunes and education for jihad include:

  • Osama bin Laden: estimated net worth $300 million, studied at King Abdulaziz University and summer at Oxford.
  • Ayman al-Zawahiri: head of al-Qaeda, was a medical doctor.
  • Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab: the “underwear bomber,” had a degree from University College in London.
  • Omar Saeed Sheik: terrorist who was convicted of murdering American journalist Daniel Pearl, attended the London School of Economics.

Fourteen-, fifteen-, and sixteen-year-old girls, all honor students from middle-class families, left London to join ISIS in Syria, where one of them, Kadiza Sultana, was killed in an airstrike.
