Parents have victory over LGBT children’s displays at Texas public library – as Library Board votes in new policy

Follows months of outrage by local citizens at Board meetings

Organized by MassResistance Texas activist

“It’s not perfect but potentially everything we want”

April 21, 2018

Local parents and citizens came to the Temple Library Board meeting on Tuesday morning, April 17.

Around the country there are battles over homosexual and transgender groups pushing their agenda on children in public libraries. In Texas parents are fighting back and winning.

After months of relentless outrage directed at their local Library Board over an aggressive “gay pride” display targeting children in the public library, parents and citizens in Temple, TX have forced the Board to back down, despite pressure from outside pro-LGBT groups not to change anything.

The “gay pride month” library display for children included colorful books, posters, placards, and even slogans on the walls promoting homosexuality and transgenderism.

Thus, on April 17 the Board approved an official library display policy. The policy has some vague parts, so the issue is likely not completely settled. But this is clearly a victory for parents. Local LGBT activists are not happy.

VIDEOS WHITE AND CHRISTIAN PRIVILEGE

Saturday, April 7th, 2018

We  need to be aware of what is happening.  This is just one more example of how “certain groups” are attempting to undermine many of the core values of our society and sow division between the races in age groups as young as 2nd grade.
Trey Gowdy and Tim Scott have just published a book entitled “United” that speaks to their friendship and their hopes for the future of our country.   Both are representatives from South Carolina and, as I am sure you know, Trey is white and Tim  is black.    Nancy

GUN CONTROL – TAKING A SECOND LOOK

Monday, March 26th, 2018

The historical facts (see below)  regarding  what can  happen when  the people can no longer defend themselves against tyrannical governments should be impressed on the students who are marching in protest for more gun control.   Nancy
 THE WASHINGTON TIMES
TAKING A SECOND LOOK
BY NATE BROGIN   March 4, 2018

EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:

Guns have a long history of debate in both the U.S. and elsewhere and remain a flash point in the minds of many maybe because they are the image of a basic weapon of war and personal defense. Guns have been the employed tool of some, yet the lack of guns exacerbates exposure to violence.

In 2014 Australia, all “registered” guns were outlawed and turned in. In 2015, Ed Chenel, a police chief in that country, confirmed that criminal armed robbery increased by a whopping 40 percent. Homicides in the State of Victoria alone are up 300 percent. You know why.

Acting on mostly the emotions of blame, history memorialized:

In 1938, Germany established gun control. By 1945, 13 million Jews and others were exterminated.

In 1929, the USSR established gun control. By 1953, about 20 million dissidents were terminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, were neutralized.

In 1935, China established gun control. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political voices of a different opinion, were eliminated.

In 1970, Uganda established gun control. By 1979, 300,000 Christians, became unaccounted for.

Accept this fact of reality — armed people will never willingly load themselves into railroad boxcars.

ANTI-NRA STUDENT WALKOUT FEATURES CHE GUEVARA AS POSTER CHILD

Saturday, March 17th, 2018

This school demonstration happened in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, a very liberal college town.   Perhaps students should be taught the violent and true history of Che Guevara  (Guevara’s history included in this article).    Nancy

TYRANNY OF SHAMING

Tuesday, March 13th, 2018

A very insightful article from the viewpoint of an immigrant from Egypt who can clearly see what is happening in this country.   Nancy

GATESTONE INSTITUTE
TYRANNY OF SHAMING
 March 11, 2018
by Nonie Darwish     Nonie Darwish, born and raised in Egypt, is the author of: “Wholly Different; Why I Chose Biblical Values Over Islamic Values”
  • The bias of many Americans against American values has blinded them from seeing the reasons we immigrants went through hell to come to this country. Many Americans believe that those who criticize the culture from which we escaped must be “Islamophobic.” They seem not to understand why we never again want to see what we have gone through so much to escape from.
  • Such attacks on the white majority in Americans are, bluntly, racist. It is a shame that so many Americans are unable or refuse to see what many immigrants see: that it was under this white majority that millions of oppressed people — of all colors and creeds — from around the world were rescued from tyranny, Sharia law, slavery, discrimination, Islamism and a miserable existence under corrupt, war-torn and famine-stricken nations. Instead, many seem to want to bring all that here.
  • We watched American freedoms as a dream: to be able to smile back at a man who opened the door for you without accusations of being a loose woman for smiling. To be able to wear what you want, go out when you want, work or get an education or not, and venture to hope one day to live under a system that respects monogamy and equal rights for women and minorities. Yes, it is the American culture where whites are the majority, no problem with that, that made our dreams come true. Despite its shortcomings no other country in the world offers its citizens the chance to be whatever they would like. We might never get back what we already have.

Every day we hear on television, “We need an honest discussion about race in this country”.

Many well-meaning Americans, however, may have had enough of this endless, empty and dysfunctional discussion of race. To an outsider, Americans seem obsessed with race; and the discussion always deteriorates to shouting, insulting, blaming, finger-pointing, distorting reality and removing any hope of taking responsibility for oneself. The goal of the discussion always seems to be to try to claim that “I am holier than thou.”

HEARTS WITHOUT GOD

Saturday, March 3rd, 2018

I agree completely with the comments that Cathy Wright has made regarding this audio video.  Give it 15  minutes of your time  and you will be amazed at the new  information you will hear in Pastor Garrison’s   message.  Please share with your email lists and post the link on facebook.        Thanks to Cathy for sharing with us.  Nancy

Below is a link to a sermon audio about the recent events in Parkland, FL, presented by Pastor Charles Garrison, Calvary Memorial Church in Southern Pines, NC.

I am aware that most are so busy that invitations to listen to a man for 42 minutes will likely result in a convenient reason to skip it.  Listen for 15 minutes and you will discover reasons for continuing to the end. Make time to do this without distraction.

Our nation is facing a crisis. The problem is not guns. It’s hearts without God; homes without parental discipline; schools without prayer; and, courts without justice.

Please feel free to pass this on.

Best,

Cathy

FROM OBAMA AND HOLDER TO PARKLAND SHOOTING

From Obama To Parkland: Remembering Eric Holder, Arne Duncan And The New Public School Policy?

Posted: 25 Feb 2018 10:37 AM PST

By: Denise Simon | Political Vanguard

As new information surfaces daily on the broken-ness that led up to the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, shock and disgust along with sadness continues to permeate across the nation.

Not only have we been told, as part of the ongoing investigation, that the school resource officer never entered the building while gunfire was blasting but there was massive communications failures within the school. The “communication failure” led police to believe they were tracking the shooter in real time, when in fact they were seeing footage from 20 minutes earlier, the chief said. Cruz had already killed 17 and fled.

There was an abject failure for months, perhaps years leading up to that devastating day at school at all levels of government, including the admission of the FBI. Tip line phone calls or emails to the FBI go to a single center located in West Virginia. From there, it is anyone’s guess where the tips or leads go for further review or investigation. In the matter of the Nicholas Cruz, the tip(s) did not go further.

So, why mention Eric Holder or Arne Duncan?

In an unprecedented, controversial manner, the Obama Administration took action to ensure that race was not a factor in school suspension decisions. Through the Supportive School Discipline Initiative and a “Dear Colleague memo,” the U.S. Justice Department and Education Department under the Obama Administration threatened public school districts with legal penalties in order to change their disciplinary policies. The letter told schools that unlawful discrimination can occur if it has a disproportionate effect on minority students and the school cannot justify the difference. None of these actions went through the traditional rulemaking, regulatory process – or were implemented into law though Congress.
