I know of no white person alive today in the United States who has ever legally owned a black slave, or any slave for that matter. Almost 700,000 mostly white men died 160 years ago to end slavery. Jim Crow ended generations ago. Yet black America, for the most part, is still locked in inner-city gang violence and economic hardship. Why?

Is it because America is racist?  Is it because of some overhanging white supremacy?  Is it because of the Illuminati?

No, unfortunately, it is because of black culture and the adoption of Democratic Party government dependency.

AMERICAN THINKER

Reassessing Orwell to Understand Our Times

By Scott S. Powell   Scott Powell is senior fellow at Discovery Institute in Seattle. Reach him at scottp@discovery.org
EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE :

What comfortable and disengaged Americans have forgotten is that there are determined enemies within and there is an internal war being waged against the values and institutions that made America a great nation.

The left is the vanguard leading this war, following a course laid out by cultural Marxists such as Antonio Gramsci and members of the Frankfurt School. Becoming influential in the 1930s and beyond, they believed the “long march through the institutions” was the best route to taking power in developed, industrialized societies such as the United States and Europe. This “march” would be a gradual process of radicalization of social and cultural institutions — “the superstructure” — of bourgeois society, which would transform the values and morals of society.  In retrospect, there is a high correlation between the softening of morals over the last two or three generations and the corruption of our family, political, legal and, economic foundation.

There are three measures of the establishment’s venality.  First there is a high incidence of denial, manifest for instance in little to no discussion of the doubling of national debt in just 9 years to over $20 trillion, and unfunded entitlement liabilities now five times greater than that — conditions inviting financial collapse of the U.S. A second measure of corruption is the establishment’s reluctance to prosecute fellow establishment law breakers in government, which has effectively created a two-tiered justice system. A third measure of establishment corruption is its accommodation of extremist anti-American groups as though they have a legitimate role to play in reform and influence on policy-making — whether in taking down historic monuments, creating sanctuary cities and controlling the nation’s borders, establishing police protocols in law enforcement, fighting wars overseas, or restructuring the economy at home.

Just two or three generations ago, most Americans understood that George Orwell’s classics Animal Farm and 1984 were written to explain how freedom is lost to totalitarianism and the intolerance that accompanies it.  “Big Brother,” a term still casually used to describe an all-knowing governing authority, comes right out of 1984. In the state that Orwell describes, all subjects are continually reminded that “Big Brother is watching you,” by way of constant surveillance through the pervasive use of “telescreens” by the ruling class.

Orwell’s warnings about totalitarianism written in novel form in Animal Farm and 1984 came shortly after Freidrich Hayek’s Road to Serfdom was published at the end of World War II.  But it took the shocking revelations from books on Nazism and Soviet Communism, by scholars like William Shirer and Robert Conquest in the 1960s, to really make Orwell relevant for teaching to the masses educated in American public schools.  And it was not just an academic exercise insofar as Stalin’s successors Leonid Brezhnev and Alexei Kosygin were at that time rolling tanks into Czechoslovakia to crush all resistance — enforcing the “Iron Curtain” over eight countries in Eastern Europe — the Soviet model of totalitarian control and subservience to Moscow.

THE CULTURE OF DEATH –AND OF DISDAIN

Sunday, October 8th, 2017

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

The Culture of Death—and of Disdain

Why do Americans own so many guns? Because they don’t trust the protected elites to protect them.

by Peggy Noonan    October 5, 2017
EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:  I think a lot of Americans have guns because they’re fearful—and for damn good reason. They fear a coming chaos, and know that when it happens it will be coming to a nation that no longer coheres. They think it’s all collapsing—our society, our culture, the baseline competence of our leadership class. They see the cultural infrastructure giving way—illegitimacy, abused children, neglect, racial tensions, kids on opioids staring at screens—and, unlike their cultural superiors, they understand the implications.

Nuts with nukes, terrorists bent on a mission. The grid will go down. One of our foes will hit us, suddenly and hard. In the end it could be hand to hand, door to door. I said some of this six years ago to a famously liberal journalist, who blinked in surprise. If that’s true, he said, they won’t have a chance! But they are Americans, I said. They won’t go down without a fight.

When news broke at Christmastime five years ago of what had happened at Newtown a friend, a news anchor, called and said with a broken voice: “What is the word for what we feel?” I thought for a moment. “Shattered,” I said. “We are shattered, all of us.” When people in ensuing days spoke of what had been done to the little children in the classrooms, I’d put up my hands and say no, we can’t keep putting those words in the air, we can’t afford it. When terrible images enter our heads and settle in, they become too real, and what is real is soon, by the unstable, imitated, repeated.

When Columbine happened in the spring of 1999, it hit me like a wave of sickness. I wrote a piece about the culture of death that produced the teenage shooters: “Think of it this way. Your child is an intelligent little fish. He swims in deep water. Waves of sound and sight, of thought and fact, come invisibly through that water, like radar. . . . The sound from the television is a wave, and the sound from the radio; the headlines on the newsstand, on the magazines, on the ad on the bus as it whizzes by—all are waves. The fish—your child—is bombarded and barely knows it. But the waves contain words like this, which I’ll limit to only one source, the news:

NFL players kneel for U.S. national anthem, stand for British anthem during Saints-Dolphins London game

Photos from today’s game in England, where they stood for “God Save the Queen” and protested the USA and provable myth of racial inequality in the USA by kneeling before or during the playing of our national anthem on the field in London.

Three members of the Dolphins — Kenny Stills, Michael Thomas and Julius Thomas — are seen kneeling during “The Star-Spangled Banner.” All three then stood for the British anthem, “God Save the Queen,” which was sung because the game was being played in England.

COLLEGE PROFESSOR: BELIEVING IN HARD WORK IS WHITE IDEOLOGY

Sunday, October 1st, 2017

College Professor: Believing in Hard Work is White Ideology

By Timothy Meads   September 30, 2017

Pennsylvania State University-Brandywine professor Angela Putman recently asserted in an academic paper that the notion “if I work hard, I can be successful” is merely a product of white ideology, reports Campus Reform.

Angela Putman conducted a study to critique and examine “ideologies within college students’ discourse that are foundational to whiteness.” Her resulting conclusion published on Thursday was that “meritocracy”, or the belief that people should rise based on the fruits of their own labor, is a “white ideology.” In her mind, this “white ideology” is unfortunately widely accepted in academia.

But, Professor Putman argues that professors can change this “ideology” by teaching students “how racism and whiteness function in various contexts, the powerful influence of systems and institutions, and the pervasiveness of whiteness ideologies within the United States.”

Putman believes that it is somehow a bad thing to teach students personal responsibility. Emphasizing a collectivist mindset, Putman puts forth the idea that Americans are falsely “socialized to believe that we got to where we are… because of our own individual efforts.”

This “ideology” she says, perpetuates whiteness and racism throughout society. Once students learn more about “white ideology,” they will hopefully “resist perpetuating and reifying whiteness through their own discourse and interactions,” and challenge systemic “manifestations of racism and whiteness.”

WEST POINT ALUM POSTS ‘COMMUNISM WILL WIN’ PHOTO

THE WASHINGTON TIMES

West Point alum posts pro-Kaepernick ‘Communism Will Win’ photo

– The Washington Times – Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Photos of a West Point alumnus holding a pro-Colin Kaepernick “Communism Will Win” sign while in uniform is riling up the military community.

Images of U.S. infantry Officer Spenser Rapone reached a popular military news site on Tuesday and set off a robust debate on NFL national anthem protests, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback that started it all in 2016, and the shock of seeing an unapologetic communist from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

“I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Colin Kaepernick wasn’t protesting in favor of communism. #ThatGuy,” wrote “Doctrine Man,” the moderator of a well-known Facebook page frequented by active military personnel and veterans.

Readers were shocked to see Mr. Rapone, whose Twitter handle is “Commie Bebop,” raising a clenched fist in support of Mr. Kapernick; another photo featured the officer revealing a Che Guevara shirt under his uniform.

LawNewz.com by Dan Abrams confirmedMr. Rapone’s identity Monday evening with the officer himself, but he said was on a field exercise until Friday and would be unable to comment for the time being.

Gateway Pundit then aggregated a host of photos showing the officer promoting communism with Twitter hashtags like  #CommunismWillWin, #Marxwasright, and #VeteransForKaepernick.

SEX TOY INDUSTRY AND PLANNED PARENTHOOD

Tuesday, September 19th, 2017

THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Planned Parenthood has a new financial lifeline…from the adult sex toy industry

Unusual partnership fortifies defund resolve

Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards speaks to the crowd during a women’s march rally in Washington on Jan. 21, 2017. (Associated Press)
 – The Washington Times – Tuesday, August 22, 2017

Supporters of Planned Parenthood are trying to boost the abortion giant’s shaky bottom line by selling sex toys, uterus-themed emojis and sex-positive wrapping paper.

The merchandise may be X-rated, but abortion opponents say it’s just another argument in favor of weaning Planned Parenthood off taxpayer funding.

Planned Parenthood from the beginning has been the recipient of private charitable donations and foundation donations,” said Jay Richards, executive editor of conservative news website The Stream. “If you look at all of the corporate donations they have, it’s staggering. Even other nonprofits, like the Susan G. Komen foundation, which deals with breast cancer, give Planned Parenthood funding. And now, apparently, we have sex toy shops.”

Planned Parenthood received an outpouring of support after Republicans swept the 2016 elections and secured a coalition capable of defunding the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Among the abortion giant’s benefactors is Vibrant, a Denver-based adult toy shop that was established with the “sole mission” of supporting Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. Items for sale include vibrators, dildos and rings priced anywhere from $20 to $220. One hundred percent of its proceeds go to the local Planned Parenthood chapter.

WARNING: CULTURE ROT – GRAPHIC VIDEO AND ARTICLE

Friday, September 15th, 2017

The contents of this article and videos are graphic and very disturbing.  The comments in blue are from John Pizzo who shared this article.      The Left has reached a new low.     Nancy

It’s becoming clear we can no longer live together in the same country anymore; perhaps the bigger question now becomes can we even live together on the same planet anymore – because we already seem to be living on separate planets.

It’s said there’s no such thing as bad press, and this certainly may be true if the case of criminal rapper Jahseh Onfroy is any indication.
Because a video he made in which he hangs a six-year-old white boy now has more than seven million views on YouTube.
The video, a re-release of the rapper’s “song” “Look at Me!” certainly did make people look at him. The 19-year-old Onfroy, whose stage name is XXXTentacion, is not only getting video hits but taking hits in the media. Yet the situation really should make us take a look at ourselves — only, not in the way Onfroy intends.
The video is meant, supposedly, as social commentary. Filled with vulgarity, words demeaning of women, and lewd sexual language, it portrays Onfroy leading a high-school class in beating up a white teacher, who is struck with phallic objects. It then switches to a scene of three hanged black men, one of whom is Onfroy. The next segment briefly presents the 1955 lynching of Emmett Till, the 2016 police shooting of Philando Castile, the 1991 Rodney King incident, the vehicular homicide of white woman Heather Heyer in Charlottesville, and the 2014 Ferguson riots. Then there’s the scene that put the video on the radar.
If you wish to see some video from this sub-human primate, you can see it here….
The white boy, and a black one, are walked to a place where a noose is hanging. Onfroy is then seen kneeling down and, after talking briefly to the two children, slips the noose over the white boy’s head and hangs him.

BOOK REVIEW – DAVID HOROWITZ’S ‘BIG AGENDA’

Friday, September 15th, 2017

THE DAILY CALLER

David Horowitz’s “Big Agenda” Matters — Book Review

Lloyd Billingsley is a policy fellow at the Independent Institute, and is the author ofBarack ‘em Up: A Literary Investigation, and Bill of Writes: Dispatches from the Political Correctness Battlefield.

“Conservatives were justifiably worried that America’s decline was reaching a point of no return,” writes David Horowitz. After the recent election, many breathed a sign of relief, but as the author of Big Agenda sees it, “one battle is over, but there are many more to come.” To prevail, the combatants must want to win, but that has not always been the case with Republicans.

In 2012 Mitt Romney possessed strategic intelligence on his opponent yet failed to deploy it and duly lost the election. In 2016, Romney blasted fellow Republican Donald Trump as “a phony, a fraud,” a charge Clinton gleefully used in attack ads. Veterans of the Bush White House announced that they would vote for Clinton. In the six years they controlled both houses of Congress, Republicans failed to investigate into the Clinton Foundation.

Horowitz wonders what Republicans failed to understand about the perils of the nation, and “the destructive agendas of the left that threaten its future.” Here the author draws from his vast experience on the left.

The progressive movement operates on “almost religious convictions,” which is why members move in lockstep, and demonize anyone outside their ranks. The movement divides society into “oppressor” groups such as whites, males, Christians and heterosexuals and victim or “oppressed” groups such as “people of color” and the LGBT squads. For Horowitz this is “the old Marxist wine in new bottles.”
