IRS GIVES “AFTER SCHOOL SATAN CLUB” TAX-FREE STATUS IN 10 DAYS

Saturday, March 18th, 2017

JUDICIAL WATCH

IRS Gives “After School

Satan Club” Tax-Exempt

Status in 10 Days

MARCH 16, 2017

While the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) makes conservative groups wait years for tax-exempt status an “After School Satan Club” launched to hinder Christian-based counterparts got its nonprofit ranking in just ten days, records obtained by Judicial Watch show. The classification is offered to charitable, religious and educational organizations that operate as nonprofits. Under the Obama administration IRS political appointees illegally targeted conservative groups, either making them wait up to seven years for tax-exempt status or denying their application altogether. Judicial Watch uncovered that scandal and has obtained piles of government records showing how the IRS illegally colluded with another federal agency to single out groups with conservative-sounding terms such as patriot and Tea Party in their titles when applying for tax-exempt status.

In the meantime, leftist groups like the Satan club got fast tracked. The principle goal of establishing the Satan clubs in public schools throughout Washington State appears to be to counter existing enterprises operated by a Christian-based group. Documents obtained by Judicial Watch include the process of establishing an after-school Satan club at Point Defiance Elementary in Tacoma. The entity behind the club is a nonprofit called Reason Alliance, which is based in Somerville, Massachusetts, and operates in Washington State as the Satanic Temple of Seattle. Its director, Lilith X. Starr, established the Point Defiance Elementary Satanic club, the records show. In its application the club states that its purpose is “character development” and that adult instructors are vetted by the Satanic Temple’s “Executive Ministry.” Children ages 5-12 will develop basic critical reasoning, character qualities, problem solving and creative expression, according to the Satanic Temple filings included in the documents. The club logo is a pencil with devil’s horns. Records obtained by Judicial Watch from the Treasury Department show that the Satanic cult applied for tax-exempt status on October 21, 2014 and received it on October 31, 2014.

VIDEO – SOCIALISM VS CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCIPLES – NANCY SCHULZE

Friday, October 21st, 2016

Nancy Schulze was the guest speaker at the Chapel Hill Republican Women’s luncheon on September 16.  She spoke on the Secular Left’s very successful attempts over the last 50 years  to weaken our nation by destabilizing our families, indoctrinating our youth, weakening our respect for law enforcement (Black Lives Matter), and questioning our Christian foundation.  She points out that our young people have a higher opinion of socialism than free enterprise which resulted in the young being attracted to Bernie Sanders, an avowed Democrat Socialist.
Today, almost 60% of our federal budget goes to entitlements and welfare which has weakened and destabilized our families.  Nancy points out that 80% of all prisoners come from fatherless families.  The unwed birthrate of  women 30 and younger is 64%.  She claims our country is  not at a crossroads, we are falling off a cliff !
As Nancy points out in the video, how often have we heard the left say, “This is not who we are as Americans”  when criticizing us as bigots and racists.  This is their attempt to redefine who we are as Americans and Nancy’s talk stresses that we need to talk about who we are and what has  been the successful foundation of our country dating back to our founders.

ISLAMISM RISES FROM EUROPE’S SECULARISM

Monday, August 1st, 2016

This sounds like something out of George Orwell’s 1984 !!!     Nancy
GATESTONE INSTITUTE
  • In France, the Socialist government imposed a “secularism charter” in every school, banning Christianity from the educational system. Municipalities have already changed the enrollment form for schoolchildren by eliminating the words “father” and “mother”, replacing them with “legal manager 1” and “legal manager 2”. It is George Orwell’s “Newspeak”.
  • After two major terror attacks in 2015, France, instead of promoting a cultural “jihad” based on Western values, responded to Islamic fundamentalism with a ridiculous “Day of Secularism” to be celebrated every 9th of December.
  • This narrow secularism has also prevented France from openly supporting Eastern Christians under Islamist oppression.
  • The empty 13th century Oude Kerk church in Amsterdam is now used for exhibitions and can be rented for gala dinners. In front of it there is “Sexyland”, offering “Live F*ck Shows”, a coffee shop for drugs and an “Erotic Supermarket” for dildos. For seven euros one can also visit the church.

SERMONS FOR THE KING

Sunday, December 14th, 2014

Published on The Weekly Standard (www.weeklystandard.com)

Sermons for the King

Green in exchange for green.

Joseph Bottum

December 15, 2014, Vol. 20, No. 14
EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE:  And it isn’t a surprise now in 2014, when Maryland’s Prince George’s County, just outside Washington, D.C., began issuing tax rebates to local churches. As it happens, those tax rebates do require a little something from the churches—a nod to the king, as it were. All the churches need to do to get the rebate is perform a little environmentalist ministry, according to a well-reported story in the Washington Post on November 16. All they need to do is preach a little green.

But precisely what religious Americans should worry about is that churches, of all things, are getting these deals. The nation’s houses of worship are an “untapped resource” for making people “do what is right,” a spokesman for the Environmental Protection Agency told the Post. And when government officials start telling churches to preach “what is right,” we’ve crossed into a new and very un-American world of sermons for the king’s pleasure.

Speaking truth to power is easy—or easier, anyway, than speaking truth to money. We might resist a sovereign who commands us to preach his favored doctrines. But a sovereign who slips us a little cash on the side, just for a sermon or two on something we maybe don’t really disagree with all that much? Harder. Much, much harder. It was true back in 1717, for example, when Benjamin Hoadly preached a famous Anglican sermon in front of a receptive King George I—a sermon that called for church government to be taken away from the bishops and given directly to the king.

And it isn’t a surprise now in 2014, when Maryland’s Prince George’s County, just outside Washington, D.C., began issuing tax rebates to local churches. As it happens, those tax rebates do require a little something from the churches—a nod to the king, as it were. All the churches need to do to get the rebate is perform a little environmentalist ministry, according to a well-reported story in the Washington Post on November 16. All they need to do is preach a little green.

Maryland has been on a tax spree over the past eight years, as the state government looked desperately for funds with which to support its social programs. An enormous majority of the state’s voters belong to the Democratic party; President Obama carried Maryland by 25 percentage points in 2012, and Democrats have held the governor’s mansion 41 out of the past 45 years. But the piling up of new taxes proved too much even for Maryland, and voters in the very blue state shocked pollsters this fall by electing Republican Larry Hogan their new governor.

The most unpopular of Maryland’s recent tax increases was what unhappy locals dubbed “the rain tax” and the state called its “stormwater remediation fee,” imposed on all property owners whose runoff drained into the Chesapeake Bay. The cost of the environmentalist measure is spread evenly across business properties, private houses, and buildings owned by nonprofits—including churches. And there’s the problem.

Forestville New Redeemer Baptist Church, for example, had its rain tax assessed at $744 a year by Prince George’s County, and the church just couldn’t afford it. But we needn’t worry. If, with the county’s help, the church installs rain barrels, plants some trees, and replaces its parking lot tarmac with permeable material, the tax will be reduced to “virtually nothing,” according to the church’s pastor, Nathaniel Thomas.

Or maybe, in fact, we do need to worry, for the church also has to do for the county just a little bit more—just the little bit more that proves its heart is in the right place. The church must also run a “green ministry,” promoting the environmentalist changes to its property. And Pastor Thomas must preach, just now and again, “environmentally focused sermons” to “educate” his congregation. (more…)
