POLICE PULL OVER ‘ISLAMIC REFUGEE’

Tuesday, June 5th, 2018

www.svijmedia.com/2018/06/02/alert-police-pull-over-islamic-refugee-horrified-to-see-what-was-in-the-car/

Police in New Mexico pulled over a vehicle only to find that it was being driven by an undocumented, Middle Eastern woman. However, the situation got worse when they saw what she had in the car with her at the time – and it put the surrounding area on high alert.

Judicial Watch indicates that a deputy sheriff in Luna County, New Mexico pulled over an unidentified “Islamic refugee” for an undisclosed reason. However, the minor traffic infraction turned into so much more when the police officer found plans for a gas pipeline in her possession.

The plans include the region around the small town of Deming about 35 miles north of the Mexican border and 60 miles west of Las Cruces. Thanks to high unemployment, poverty, crime and a horrible public education system, Deming has been named No. 1 on a list of the “ten worst places” to live in New Mexico. The entire region is considered a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area due to large amounts of meth, heroin, cocaine and marijuana smuggled through the state by Mexican traffickers. The brutal Juárez and Sinaloa cartels operate in that area. [Source: Truth Revolt]

The pipeline is in Deming, New Mexico, and U.S. Border Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF) have been sent to the area to investigate. Unfortunately, the discovery could only be indicative of what is to come.

THE WIPEOUT OF OBAMA’S LEGACY

Friday, May 18th, 2018

THE WEEKLY STANDARD

The Wipeout of Obama’s Legacy

  • 4 MIN READ     May 11, 2018

President Obama’s legacy is rapidly vanishing. The decision by President Trump to withdraw from the nuclear deal with Iran is the biggest blow, but it’s only the latest. The elimination of the individual mandate and canceling the yearly bailout of insurance companies have left Obamacare in a precarious condition. Young immigrants whose parents brought them to the United States unlawfully—so-called dreamers—are losing their legal status.

This is historic. Presidents often vow to wipe out big chunks of their predecessor’s legacies. President Eisenhower was going to take on the New Deal. Ronald Reagan targeted the Great Society. Both backed down. Trump, working with congressional Republicans, hasn’t. He’s eager to deflate Obama’s standing and inflate his own.

Obama and Democrats have made Trump’s efforts surprisingly easy. Obama, you’ll recall, succeeded brilliantly in the first two years of his presidency when Democrats controlled Congress. But once Republicans held the House, Senate, or both over the next six years, he ignored Capitol Hill as much as possible. He spared himself the unpleasantness of compromising with Republicans and instead governed by executive orders and regulations.

Decisions taken by the president alone are vulnerable to being erased by subsequent presidents. And that’s what happened to the pact with Iran. It wasn’t a treaty ratified by the Senate. Democrats used the filibuster to block even a nonbinding vote on it. Trump killed the deal with his signature. That was also all it took to quit the Paris accord on global warming.

There were two factors behind Obama’s decision to shun a treaty, which requires a two-thirds vote in the Senate. Winning that lopsided a vote appeared to be impossible. On the other hand, Obama had a backup—Hillary Clinton. She was expected to win the presidency in 2016 and could be relied on to protect the nuclear agreement.

REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT PROGRAMS AND COSTS

Friday, April 20th, 2018

One of our readers sent this newsletter from the Minnesota Department of Health (see below) regarding their programs for refugees (all at taxpayer expense).
I am combining this Minnesota Dept of Health newsletter with an article posted by Ann Corcoran from the Refugee Resettlement Watch    refugeeresettlementwatch.wordpress.com/
regarding the nearly 1/2 billion dollars from the U.S. Treasury that goes to federal refugee contractors each year.  One of the directors of the contractors earns a measly $700,000 per year.
Most of our families came to this country  when there were no programs for immigrants such as being offered today.  It was hard work and tireless sacrifices of families to become established in this country but it made our  families and this country strong.  Will we be able to say the same about  today’s refugees ?   Nancy

The following summary of the newsletter is from one of our readers.

This little newsletter is chock full of eye opening facts.  Minnesota Dept of Health puts it out.
I will try to summarize:
  • Malaria outreach to those traveling abroad to go home (dangerous and in fear of their lives kind of home) . I don’t understand them visiting their friends and relatives back home.  Taking vacations back to where they were persecuted WHAT a FRAUD
  • Getting a Grant (tax payers)
  • to educate about Female Genital Mutilation and Prevention
  • Secondary Refugees moving from the place they were placed, to Minnesota ( I guess to be with more of their own )
  • Mental Health Screening done here in the States instead of BEFORE they are brought here
  • Spotlight on humanitarian Sarah Bluhm who moved from Chicago where she worked with Rohyinga, Congolese, and Iraqi, back to Minneapolis.
This program is way worse than even I thought.  Using more taxpayer money to educate refugees about things that are going to infect the long time clean health bill of most Americans. Malaria, FGM, mental illness etc.
And none of this is required- only offered.
God help us.

TYRANNY OF SHAMING

Tuesday, March 13th, 2018

A very insightful article from the viewpoint of an immigrant from Egypt who can clearly see what is happening in this country.   Nancy

GATESTONE INSTITUTE
TYRANNY OF SHAMING
 March 11, 2018
by Nonie Darwish     Nonie Darwish, born and raised in Egypt, is the author of: “Wholly Different; Why I Chose Biblical Values Over Islamic Values”
  • The bias of many Americans against American values has blinded them from seeing the reasons we immigrants went through hell to come to this country. Many Americans believe that those who criticize the culture from which we escaped must be “Islamophobic.” They seem not to understand why we never again want to see what we have gone through so much to escape from.
  • Such attacks on the white majority in Americans are, bluntly, racist. It is a shame that so many Americans are unable or refuse to see what many immigrants see: that it was under this white majority that millions of oppressed people — of all colors and creeds — from around the world were rescued from tyranny, Sharia law, slavery, discrimination, Islamism and a miserable existence under corrupt, war-torn and famine-stricken nations. Instead, many seem to want to bring all that here.
  • We watched American freedoms as a dream: to be able to smile back at a man who opened the door for you without accusations of being a loose woman for smiling. To be able to wear what you want, go out when you want, work or get an education or not, and venture to hope one day to live under a system that respects monogamy and equal rights for women and minorities. Yes, it is the American culture where whites are the majority, no problem with that, that made our dreams come true. Despite its shortcomings no other country in the world offers its citizens the chance to be whatever they would like. We might never get back what we already have.

Every day we hear on television, “We need an honest discussion about race in this country”.

Many well-meaning Americans, however, may have had enough of this endless, empty and dysfunctional discussion of race. To an outsider, Americans seem obsessed with race; and the discussion always deteriorates to shouting, insulting, blaming, finger-pointing, distorting reality and removing any hope of taking responsibility for oneself. The goal of the discussion always seems to be to try to claim that “I am holier than thou.”

PRAGUE VS NORWAY

Wednesday, February 28th, 2018

This article really hits home for me.   I spent several days in Prague in 1982 on a trip to what was then Czechoslovakia, to find  family roots.  I was so impressed with the beauty of Prague.  Their town center was like stepping back in time to the 1500’s  .  Just wonderful.   I was  living in Norway at the time so this article, written by a Norwegian,  really sends chills as it  describes the very negative changes that have taken place in Norway since I was  living  there in the 1980’s.  So tragic.   Thanks to Dee Sams for sharing this article.  Nancy

GLIMPSING THE “NEW EUROPE” IN PRAGUE

What might have been.

Tuesday, February 20. It’s our first time in Prague, and – except for a couple of visits to Berlin – K.’s first time on territory that was once part of the Warsaw Pact. Today, as we’re wont to do on arrival in a new city, we passed on museums and other cultural attractions, preferring instead to walk and walk and walk – to get a sense of the place and the people and start finding our way around.

After several hours of wandering along the winding streets and across cobbled squares dominated by churches, we came back to our hotel and had a drink at the bar. After two gin and tonics, I saw that K. had tears in his eyes. I looked at him quizzically. He could hardly get the words out.

“I’m so angry at my country’s government!” he finally exploded.

The country in question being Norway.

K. explained. We had just seen a good deal of Prague, and had passed heaven knows how many thousands of people. Not once had we seen a hijab. Let alone a niqab or burka.

“In this whole big city, not one!” he cried. “And yet in that little town where we live – in the middle of nowhere! – you can’t look out of the window for a minute without seeing one.”

For us, the Islamization of Western Europe had been a constant topic of conversation for almost twenty years. We’d voiced anger, frustration, despondency, cynicism. But I’d never seen him get teary-eyed about it.

THERE ARE TOO MANY WHITE PEOPLE IN SZEKESFEHERVAR

Tuesday, February 20th, 2018

Be sure to watch the wonderful video of the town that is included in the article.     Nancy
VIDEO
Gates of Vienna

A major Hungarian city submitted a brief video about itself to a European competition, only to be rejected at the entry level because the city was too, well, white. And Christian, too — another point against the city.

CrossWare, who translated the article below, includes this prefatory note:

Székesfehérvár is my hometown, a thousand-year-old city, where the original Royal Court resided. Dozens of kings and queens are buried beneath the city’s cathedral, but it is also a modern town. Many high-tech companies set up shop here; the area is sometimes described as the “Hungarian Silicon Valley”.

Back during the Christmas season Gates of Vienna posted a couple of pictures showing the Fair without any Merkel Legos or machine guns…

This was the video submitted for the competition: “Székesfehérvár Full of Life”

The translated article from 888.hu:

EU Jury: In Székesfehérvár there are too many whites and too few migrants

An EU jury decided to recommend the entries by Győr, Debrecen and Veszprém for the finals of the European Capital of Culture (EKF 2023) project. Among the seven submissions to date, the EU’s “unrelated international experts” rejected the submission of Székesfehérvár’s debut film: “There are too many happy white people and crosses, and not enough migrants”.

ANALYSIS OF TRUMP’S DACA PROPOSAL

Friday, January 26th, 2018

Thanks to Mike Scruggs for sharing his comments and this article by Mark Krikorian who was an ICON guest speaker last year.     Nancy

Here is the Center for Immigration Studies’ Krikorian on Trump 1.8 million DACA/Dreamer Amnesty.

I liked the Goodlate-Labrador House bill and the Cotton-Perdue RAISE bill in the Senate much better.

Trump’s proposal may get 60 votes in the Senate, but the American people and especially conservatives in the GOP may regret the actual results in a few years.

I am very disappointed with Trump’s latest proposal but maybe it can be fixed–fixed a lot–See Krikorian’s article.

In my opinion, without E-Verify and Visa Control the wall will only be about 25% effective.

Most will just get a legal visa and ignore its expiration.

See below for Krikorian’s article.  Why do these politicians not consult with the Center for Immigration Studies before they announce a plan?   Mike Scruggs

The Art of the Choke

By Mark Krikorian on January 25, 2018

The White House immigration outline was released today and it’s not good. It could change tomorrow, for all we know, but as it stands now, this is a preemptive surrender on several issues.

The enforcement component is fine, as far as it goes – there’s no E-Verify, but the White House decided months ago not to push that, thinking it would be a bridge too far for Democrats, since it impacts illegals who are already here.

But the amnesty and chain migration components are fatally flawed. The fact that the amnesty would include a path to citizenship (i.e., the beneficiaries would eventually get green cards like regular immigrants) is fine with me – if you’re going to amnesty illegal aliens, just rip off the band-aid and get it over with.

WHAT I LEARNED IN THE PEACE CORPS IN AFRICA: TRUMP IS RIGHT

Wednesday, January 24th, 2018

What I Learned in the Peace Corps in Africa: Trump Is Right

Three weeks after college, I flew to Senegal, West Africa, to run a community center in a rural town.  Life was placid, with no danger, except to your health.  That danger was considerable, because it was, in the words of the Peace Corps doctor, “a fecalized environment.”

In plain English: s— is everywhere.  People defecate on the open ground, and the feces is blown with the dust – onto you, your clothes, your food, the water.  He warned us the first day of training: do not even touch water.  Human feces carries parasites that bore through your skin and cause organ failure.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that a few decades later, liberals would be pushing the lie that Western civilization is no better than a third-world country.  Or would teach two generations of our kids that loving your own culture and wanting to preserve it are racism.

Last time I was in Paris, I saw a beautiful African woman in a grand boubou have her child defecate on the sidewalk next to Notre Dame Cathedral.  The French police officer, ten steps from her, turned his head not to see.

I have seen.  I am not turning my head and pretending unpleasant things are not true.

Senegal was not a hellhole.  Very poor people can lead happy, meaningful lives in their own cultures’ terms.  But they are not our terms.  The excrement is the least of it.  Our basic ideas of human relations, right and wrong, are incompatible.
