We have been  distracted by day to day mini crises (what is the latest shiny object to talk about)  while the real threat to our country has been occurring for many years.  This video was posted on facebook by former CIA analyst, Clare Lopez.  Nancy

HOW THE CHINESE THINK

Monday, January 18th, 2021

If you are curious as to how the Chinese think and how they  see themselves, their history and their future, this speech from 15 years ago, will make it clear to you that they are definitely a major threat to the United States. Nancy  P.S.  I researched this speech on google and it is definitely authentic.

Speech By Comrade Chi Haotian
Vice-Chairman Of China’s
Military Commission
December, 2005
3-1-9

The following is the actual text of a speech delivered in December, 2005 by Comrade Chi Haotian the Vice-Chairman of China’s Military Commission to top officers and generals. Keep in mind that China has for many years advocated deceitful and covert warfare against its enemies. This is their Modus Operandi. There should be little question that a “Bird Flu” Pandemic would deeply excite them. (Don’t forget how they have poisoned thousands of American pets and knowingly placed lead paints on toddler’s toys.)

“Comrades, I’m very excited today, because the large-scale online survey sina.com that was done for us showed that our next generation is quite promising and our Party’s cause will be carried on. In answering the question, “Will you shoot at women, children and prisoners of war,” more than 80 per cent of the respondents answered in the affirmative, exceeding by far our expectations. Today I’d like to focus on why we asked sina.com to conduct this online survey among our people. My speech today is a sequel to my speech last time, during which I started with a discussion of the issue of the three islands [Taiwan, Diaoyu Islands and the Spratley Islands — Ott] and mentioned that 20 years of the idyllic theme of ‘peace and development’ had come to an end, and concluded that modernization under the saber is the only option for China’s next phase. I also mentioned we have a vital stake overseas. The central issue of this survey appears to be whether one should shoot at women, children and prisoners of war, but its real significance goes far beyond that. Ostensibly, our intention is mainly to figure out what the Chinese people’s attitude towards war is: If these future soldiers do not hesitate to kill even noncombatants, they’ll naturally be doubly ready and ruthless in killing combatants. Therefore, the responses to the survey questions may reflect the general attitude people have towards war..We wanted to know: If China’s global development will necessitate massive deaths in enemy countries; will our people endorse that scenario? Will they be for or against it?

COVERT CASH –  FULL FILM: What US universities don’t want you to know about their foreign funding    September 1, 2020

Find out how much money your campus received in foreign funding – clarionproject.org/covertcash/ Clarion Project’s latest film, Covert Cash: What American universities don’t want you to know about their foreign funding, seeks to expose those hidden billions and investigate the demands and trickle-down effects it has on America’s future leaders.
clarionproject.org/covertcash/ Why would American universities accept money from corrupt regimes who actively work against American interests? Why would they accept money from regimes whose human rights records clash with every American value we hold sacred? Covert Cash seeks to blow this subject wide open and drive awareness of the corruption and lack of transparency in US universities, which allow foreign governments like China, Russia, Qatar and Dausi Arabia to gain influence and a nefarious foothold in the United States.

THE TEN BEST THINGS TRUMP DID IN 2018

THE NEW YORK POST

The 10 best things Trump did in 2018

By Marc Thiessen    December 31, 2018

In his second year in office, the list of extraordinary things President Trump has done, for good and ill, continued to grow. Today, I offer my annual list of the 10 best things Trump has done in office. (In my next column, I will give you my list of the 10 worst.)

10.
He has secured the release of 19 people, including 16 Americans, from foreign captivity. When Pastor Andrew Brunson was freed by Turkey, he became the 19th captive released thanks to Trump. Others include: four held by North Korea; an aid worker and her husband held by Egypt; three UCLA basketball players and a Texas businesswoman held by China; a couple and their three children held by the Taliban; a former CIA officer held by Portugal; and two citizens held by Venezuela. That’s more Americans freed in two years than President Barack Obama got released in eight. And unlike Obama, Trump did it without releasing terrorist leaders or sending planeloads of cash to rogue regimes, creating incentive for more hostage taking.

9.
He delivered for the “forgotten Americans.” The Trump boom is benefiting those left behind by the Obama economy. Manufacturing jobs grew at the fastest rate in 23 years and the unemployment rate for Americans without a high school diploma reached the lowest point ever recorded. The Wall Street Journal reports that wages rose 3.1 percent — the biggest jump since 2009 — and that “low-skilled workers are among the biggest beneficiaries.”

8.
He worked with Democrats and Republicans to pass important legislation. It didn’t get a lot of attention, but Trump got a lot done on a bipartisan basis, including criminal justice reform, opioid and sex trafficking legislation, and a new “Right to Try” law giving dying Americans access to experimental medications.

7.
He has ushered in a golden age for women in the CIA. Trump not only appointed Gina Haspel as the agency’s first female director but also made Elizabeth Kimber the first woman to lead the agency’s clandestine service — rewarding the CIA’s “band of sisters” who have toiled to keep the country safe since 9/11.

6.
His push to expand domestic energy production bore fruit. This year the United States passed both Saudi Arabia and Russia as the world’s top oil producer.

TRUMP – IT’S ALL ABOUT LEVERAGE

Wednesday, August 8th, 2018

THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Trump and the centers of gravity

– – L.  Scott Ligamfelter is a retired  U.S. Army colonel, combat veteran and Middle East Foreign Area Officer.  He also served in the Virginia General Assembly for 16 years.     Wednesday, June 20, 2018

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

June 25, 2018

President Donald Trump, like everyone alive today, never met Prussian military theorist Carl Von Clausewitz, but the author of “Vom Kriege” (“On War”) would have found pleasant company with the man who inspired “The Art of the Deal.” For Clausewitz, war involved politics in addition to “other means” to arrive at a “deal”; in other words to obtain the objectives of a nation at war.

For Mr. Trump, it’s about maximizing one’s leverage in obtaining the “deal,” one of his 11 tenets in the art of deal-making. And in that regard, Mr. Trump has demonstrated that he understands both the Clausewitzian concept of the “center of gravity” — the basis of an opponent’s power at the operational, strategic or political level — and the art of leveraging national power. Three examples are instructive: North Korea, Iran and ISIS.

North Korea’s center of gravity is the survival of the regime of Kim Jong-un. It’s a criminal cartel, but worse yet, one whose sidearms are a host of conventional artillery keenly aimed at South Korea and a nuclear threat recklessly pointed at the world. Which is why the president wasted no time putting “Little Rocket Man” in a very hot seat by ratcheting up the tough talk in response to Mr. Kim’s verbal threats and missile-launch intimidation.

Moreover he jettisoned the effete “strategic patience” approach of previous administrations and imposed “maximum pressure” on the Hermit Kingdom. That story is playing out now following the Singapore summit. Mr. Kim knows his regime is at stake. Mr. Trump does, too. Mr. Kim would be wise not to trifle with him.

DAMAGE TO NORTH KOREA’S NUCLEAR SITE CONFIRMED

Friday, May 11th, 2018

I sent out an article two weeks ago regarding this damage to North Korea’s nuclear site but have  heard nothing to confirm this report except for Rush mentioning it about a week ago.  This article states that a large part of a nuclear test site is inoperable and will probably require a substantial investment in the construction of another facility elsewhere.   Perhaps this is the reason Kim Jong Un has been willing to come to the negotiating table with President Trump.     Nancy

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

Damage to North Korea’s Nuclear Test Site Worse Than Previously Thought

A much larger part of the Punggye-ri site collapsed after Pyongyang’s last test, scientists say

BEIJING—The damage to the nuclear test site that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has promised to shut down is more extensive than earlier assessments showed, according to a new study by a team of international scientists.

Space-based radar showed that after the initial impact of North Korea’s latest nuclear test in September last year, a much larger part of the Punggye-ri test site caved in over the following hours and days, according to a study published in Science magazine on Thursday. The study was conducted by researchers from Singapore, Germany, China and the U.S.

“This means that a very large domain has collapsed around the test site, not merely a tunnel or two,” said Sylvain Barbot, one of the authors who is an assistant professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
