James Lindsay first came to national attention after he and his colleagues published a series of hoax papers in social science journals to demonstrate their loose academic standards. Lindsay used to be a liberal, but recognizes the very real threat ideologies like critical race theory represent for America and became more conservative. “My position though, even when I did identify on the left in the past, has always been, ‘I’m going to hold the beliefs that I believe are the most accurate and where I fall is where I fall.'” Lindsay explains, before adding he’s “Team Reality.” Lindsay joins the show to discuss how he moved from being a liberal to a

EXCERPT FROM THIS ARTICLE: Prominent Republicans, such as Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Representative Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida, and Representative Darrell Issa of California, will likewise make the pilgrimage to Davos; the officials have released statements arguing that they will attempt to bring conservative principles to the controversial event.
Lawmakers, business leaders, and academics participating in the World Economic Forum will descend upon the small ski town of Davos, Switzerland, this week to discuss a variety of policy proposals that entail greater coordination between government and corporate actors.
The organization, which German economist Klaus Schwab has chaired for the past five decades, is a leading proponent of stakeholder capitalism, an approach to investing that says executives must consider the needs of communities and other parties in addition to shareholders. The group’s annual conference has drawn the attention of conservatives who contend that many of the policies floated each year infringe upon individual liberties.
The World Economic Forum is convening during January for the first time since the lockdown-induced recession. This year’s conference theme is “Cooperation in a Fragmented World,” which involves “how we can tackle the numerous and interlinked challenges the world is facing and find solutions through public-private cooperation,” according to a press release.

WEF’s Klaus Schwab Says China Will Be a ‘Role Model’ in the ‘Systemic Transformation’ of the World
The World Economic Forum’s Klaus Schwab proclaimed that Communist China will likely serve as a “role model” for many countries as the global community embarks upon a “systemic transformation of the world”.
In an interview with the Chinese state-run television network CGTN, World Economic Forum (WEF) chairman and founder Klaus Schwab heaped praise on the communist government in Beijing for being a leading figure in his vision of a Great Reset of capitalism to usher in the “world of tomorrow”.
“I respect China’s achievements, which are tremendous over the last over 40 years, I think it’s a role model for many countries,” the Davos chief said, adding that while he believes countries should be able to choose the system they prefer to live under, the “Chinese model is certainly a very attractive model for quite a number of countries.”

Sunak is not a conservative champion of national sovereignty and individualism, but a proponent of globalism.
Since the historically short-lived tenure of Liz Truss as prime minister of the United Kingdom (U.K.) came to an abrupt end late last month, the selection of Rishi Sunak as the country’s next political leader has left legacy media aglow with curiosity.
While some outlets like Time Magazine have gone the route of pushing speculative articles asking “Who is Rishi Sunak?” and “What kind of leader will [he] be?” others such as the BBC and The New York Times have published detailed biographies of Sunak’s personal and political life.
“Mr. Sunak, a former chancellor of the Exchequer, is expected to pull Britain back to more mainstream policies after Ms. Truss’s failed experiment in trickle-down economics … [and] is also likely to offer a stark contrast to the flamboyant style and erratic behavior of [former U.K. Prime Minister] Boris Johnson,” the Times article reads.
At 42 years old, Sunak is the youngest U.K. prime minister in modern times, and — most importantly to the race-obsessed press — is the first non-white person to hold the office. A member of the ruling Conservative Party, he previously served as the U.K.’s chief financial minister from 2020 to July 2022 under Johnson.
Noticeably absent from the media’s coverage of Sunak’s rise to power, however, is the lack of the overplayed “far-right” moniker. While many left-wing news firms went out of their way to label figures such as Italy’s new prime minister as some sort of right-wing fascist, the same cannot be said when it comes to their characterization of Sunak.
So, why the vast difference in coverage? The reason, perhaps, is because Sunak — much like most of the Conservative Party’s members — is not an actual conservative that champions national sovereignty and individualism, but a proponent of the very globalist ideology supported by legacy media that seeks to eradicate such principles.
Since taking over as prime minister last week, Sunak has already begun advancing many policies endorsed by leftists throughout Europe and the United States, namely with respect to energy. One of the first actions he took after being sworn into office was to reinstate a government ban on fracking, a safe and efficient way of extracting oil and natural gas from the earth that was permitted under Truss’s short premiership. In 2019, the U.K. had released a manifesto commitment stating that the government would not support the practice “unless the science shows categorically that it can be done safely.”

With the World Health Organization (WHO) set to discuss a global pandemic treaty and far-reaching amendments to the 2005 International Health Regulations, we sit down with Dr. David Bell, an expert in global health and infectious disease.
“Even though it doesn’t directly change sovereignty, in effect, it does. It takes away the ability of the people of that country to make their own decisions,” says Dr. Bell.
And more importantly, these proposals will create a bureaucracy “whose existence is dependent on pandemics,” says Dr. Bell. “They’ll have a very vested interest in finding outbreaks, declaring them potential pandemics, and then responding. It’s the way that they will survive.”
And it appears that they will make lockdowns “a permanent feature of pandemic responses,” Dr. Bell says.
Dr. Bell is a public health physician. He has previously worked at the World Health Organization, as programme head for malaria and febrile diseases at the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) in Geneva, and as director of Global Health Technologies at the Intellectual Ventures Global Good Fund. He is now on the board of Pandemics, Data, and Analytics (PANDA), a group studying the world’s response to COVID-19.
